They have been so professional, fit us in when we needed dog care, made sure our puppy was up to date on all shots and have been very thorough. We really liked that dogs over a year old need to be altered, our dog has had issues with some aggressive dogs bullying him and he's too sweet to defend himself. Hopefully, the altered pups might lessen that. We also really liked that they match temperaments and make sure personalities fit in each dog run. Did I mention that I received a text during the day on how my dog was doing? How great is that?! And, this evening, I received an email containing my pupper's report card! Paws at Play let me know how his temperament was today, what he did, who he played with, and the name of the employee who watched over him. Plus, I received about 10 photos of him - showing how much fun he had! Experience was so positive we've already booked another day!

I was one of them I went to them for 3 years, only missed one appointment. I paid whatever price they charged me, never missed a payment or gave issues that I was told about. Then got let go and have never been invited back. But I've seen others go and they are in full operation... for white clients.

I actually got home a bit early, so it was terrific that Justin could give lots of attention to my male cat (who obviously adored him and wouldn't stop rubbing up against his legs) while I brought my stuff in. Justin even offered to help me unload, but it was even better to see how much the cats loved them! I would recommend them to anyone who has to leave their homes -- it's reassuring to know that pet sitting isn't just a 'job' to them -- they love animals! One of our dogs gets very anxious and aggressive around new people. It takes a long time for him to recognize new people as being safe. One of the caregivers came over for a temperament test and it didn't go well at all. I had high hopes that they could work with him but I quickly realized that they couldn't, and she agreed. The issue is the there is no guarantee that the same sitter will come to your home to watch your pets. I contacted them several months in advance and they still could not work with me to have one person watch my dogs. I understand that this is how they run their business and respect it. That said, I would only recommend them if your dogs are not anxious like mine and are okay with different people coming over to watch them.

They came out to meet the cats and get the instructions for the meds, etc. and off we went. Our friend noticed that "old cat" wasn't doing so hot, but was unable to leave work to take "old cat" to the vet immediately, so we were about to turn the car around and drive the 300 miles back, rather than finishing our vacation. That's when my wife saw that Kelly's Critters offered pet transportation too. We called and they took "old cat" to the vet and no exaggeration-saved his life. They started some new meds and "old cat" is on the mend. The cute videos they send when they visit are precious. They saved the kitty, and I think they saved my wife's heart and sanity. The quality of care was amazing and we'll definitely use them again.

So I left thinking they would be well taken care of, especially after reading the great reviews. After the first day when I hadn't received pictures, I called to see if they were ok and if I could get pics. I was assured they were fine and they sent pics. The next day, nothing. I had to call everyday to see if my dogs were ok. I didn't get pictures everyday like I was promised. When I did get pictures the one time I asked why my dogs were together, in a small enclosed space, with no other dogs. I had asked that my one dog get to go out and play with other dogs, but they didn't do that. They said they wanted to keep them together, although I had explained that my older dog in diapers wouldn't have cared. I began questioning whether anything I asked had been done. We paid over $1,000 for a week and don't feel that the service we received was worth it. There are lots of great reviews here but we can't add to them.
