It was easy in the season so they were light on produce and heavy on prepared foods like granola, popsicles, pizza and bbq. They also had plenty of vendors selling cheese, coffee, mushrooms and more. There was a friendly dog who greeted us at the parking lot. Inside the building, we found a display of vegetables fridgerated, local beers and wines, and produce such as tomatoes, onions, and potatoes. We also found that they served local VT ice cream. Their scoops are generous and the ice cream choices plentiful. I think we may have to come by here to try out the other ice creams. There are picnic tables in the back you can enjoy your ice cream treat and take in the farm view.

I did partake in a delicious chocolate chip cookie from Moutainview Bakehouse and a pretzel with flavorful mustard, as well as purchased a soft pretzel with mustard from the Austrian bakery Haus on the Hill that also had a lot of wonderful sweet European style treats. Took home two jars of The Poet's Garden's yummy homemade jam: Black Currant Rhubarb Lemon and Aronia Berry. There were a number of things I hadn't ever seen before, like a huge wild Puffball Mushroom, and Sea Berry plants. Found particularly nice the handmade ceramic tiles, felt artwork and wood pieces from Heartbeat Lifesharing group. There was covered seating to enjoy your food and an adjacent community garden. There's a lady selling rice milk, and homemade empanadas and burritos (which she keeps warm by wrapping them up in plastic and a serape), and a few craft, quilting and jewelry booths as well. They gave us samples of all four and so much info about each! Then we could get a cheese plate or a grilled cheese (with two cheeses) for $5. The cheeses were so flavorful and amazing. Yum, yum- YUUUM. Generally though, I believe they are primarily an online store and supplier to other stores. You can check on their website where to get their goods. Their story is pretty awesome too... they started in 2003 and make cheese from their 45 Ayrshire cows. If you are craving cheese making skillz, they offer internships!

After one bite of the ooey gooey fragrant delicious cheese, I immediately bought a wheel for my family and I. I've been hooked ever since. The cheese is wrapped in bark, which is what makes it so flavorful I've also tried their Moses Sleeper cheese, which was also tasty but Harbison will always be my Cellars True Love. Can't wait to try more including their Winnimere, which sounds like it's in the same vein of Harbison. I bought a wheel and a half of Harbison at my local co-op and it made my day. Harbison may be my favorite cheese of all time; it is my favorite cheese now. Cellars may be my favorite cheese maker. Love, love, love it,.

The shop is well organized & fun to peruse. I asked several questions of the salesperson who was most helpful and pleasant. The most wonderful treat was the maple creamie! Made with the dark robust maple syrup I sought and mixed through an Italian gelato machine to produce the smoothest most flavorful treat. I believe this to be the highest standard for maple creamies in Vermont....for me anyway. Just outstanding.

The beloved "Fire Tower Pizza" is no longer, and unfortunately this almost $30 pizza was easily the worst pizza we have ever had. Slicing up this thin oily disc was like cutting though leather. And is there a pepperoni shortage? I really hope they're working on their pizza because it's a shame this small towns once amazing pizza is now this price gouging mess. I'd grab some local beer from here, maybe some local eggs or supplies for a picnic, but the pizza... never again, or at least until they figure out how to make them.
