Believe it or not, a bad review is what brought me here. Someone made comment about not enjoying getting attention paid to her glutes/butt region. In my time getting massages in Jacksonville (at places such as Hand & Stone or Massage Envy), I have all but begged masseuses to appropriately give my glutes the same attention as every other part of my body, only to be met with 2 seconds of elbow work over a towel. I was so excited to see that someone was able to include this, as I have chronic hip problems and a primarily sedentary work life. Disclaimer: part of your underwear is rolled down for this so if you aren't comfortable with that, be sure to let her know. When I arrived, I paid up front. After reading all other reviews, I knew to expect a $3 card charge as well as providing a tip upfront. I learned that this is the case because other people have come in for services and then refused to pay afterwards. After learning this context, I was totally ok with paying everything upfront. I had scheduled a 90 minute massage, which was priced at $90 - this was incredibly reasonable, as some places charge over $100 for the same service. Once I paid, we went straight back. She lead me to a room and showed me where I could put my phone and jewelry - it is a small lock box that you hold the key to for the entire session. She instructed me to undress , lay facedown, and would be back shortly. When she came back, this massage started off with a dry towel rub down. This is a pretty common practice based on other places I've been. Afterwards, a good amount of time was spent on my back with what I think was body oil - considering the back is the largest canvas to work on, oil was definitely the best choice. It allowed her to have easier long, smooth strokes. I don't know if it's common for her to start on the left side of the body and back, but that was precisely the side I needed help with and was in the most pain. She even got onto the table to best leverage adequate pressure and use all of her body weight. The time spent on my neck and shoulders actually gave me goosebumps. After working on my back, she paid some attention to my arms, legs, and even my scalp with really good smelling lotion. Once all limbs were massaged, I got hot stones! Most places will charge extra for this, so I've never gotten it before. What an absolute TREAT; it was so pleasant and relaxing. Following the entire back massage, I was instructed to turn face up. I was on my side for a moment while she positioned hot stones under my back to lay on with a towel on top. From here I got a scalp and hairline massage - my ears were even included! I will say, I have very fine hair and since her hands had a mixture of oil and lotion, I left with it pretty teased and oily. Since I shower after every massage (mostly a sensory thing, as well as easily clogged pores), I truly didn't mind. She even put my hair back into a ponytail when she was done. If you have plans afterwards, I recommend having a brush handy in your car. Once she finished my scalp, she did more work on my arms, hands, legs, and feet - this was perhaps the most thorough foot massage I've ever gotten within a 90 minute session; it was divine. Once she was done, she asked me how I felt - which was absolutely incredible and somewhat blissed out. I had been experiencing back pain that had persisted beyond a week and I left genuinely feeling pain free; I actually couldn't believe it. After redressing, I met her at the front desk where she gave me a fresh, cold bottle of water. She then gave me her business card and I asked her name so that I could give her proper credit here. I highly recommend giving this place a chance. The one experience I had here overshadowed every other place I've been previously. I seriously won't go anywhere else again! 10/10

The lady that did my massage was nice and professional. My favorite part was the hot stone. It felt marvelous and wonderful. I left with all my knots gone and felt great!
