I called last minute around 7PM and wanted an hour foot massage. I told them I could only come at 7:30PM and they took me in, after hours. I was traveling all day from Orlando so it was nice that they were able to accommodate me. The lady who did my foot massage was very kind. The massage itself was very good. I docked a star because I didn't like that I was in the front of the business by the door. There's a lot of action in the front and I would've liked a more chill vibe. But it's okay, I was able to get my massage, relax and be peaceful. I would come back if I lived in the area but I'm only visiting from Colorado. Thank you! read more

I'm left totally confused after reading all the reviews and then my experience being so starkly different. Yes the staff is nice but (especially for $120) the massage was one of the worst I've ever had. Came in for a Thai massage which are notoriously strong pressure; ranging from feet walking, stretching, back cracks, and strong muscle kneading. I barely got any of these. My massage was 20% head rub, 10% Thai, and 70% soft rubbing. I was really confused most of the time and left begging for more pressure, which never came. I got maybe 10 minutes of back walking and some back cracks that seemed more accidental than skill. Overall the entire massage left me wondering if i had gotten a licensed masseur or a receptionist. Pretty upset to have spent so much and have no relief from why I sought out a massage. I could've done better with my massage gun at home. To add insult to injury, they had me prepay for the massage which wasn't an issue, but then at the end of the massage she presented my receipt back to me and demanded a tip?! America is wild, it's the only country this flies. At 120$ the tip should be worked into the price, and then to be unskilled and demand a tip is audacious. When i do a good job at my work, no one tips me. A job is a job, don't be greedy. read more

She is thorough and professional. If you want more attention to an area, she gladly adjust the massage to your custom wish. The place is clean and has a calming ambiance. I had a WONDERFUL experience with Lisa! She said she was new there, and she was excellent. I called and asked if they took walk-ins because I was unsure what time I would get off work. They put me for 5:30 pm and I got there at 5:40 and Lisa took me right away. Lisa was great, always asked if the pressure was good, if I was comfortable and if I liked everything. Considering all she did was text with one hand and try to massage with the other was a joke. Made an appointment W for a massage at 10 AM Thursday with Julia based on reviews. I asked about C19 protocols and she said "We got everything. You don't worry about that." I confirmed that they wear masks. Upon arriva before 10l, maskless woman came out and when I told her I had an appointment with Julia at 10, she looked at the clock and said "You have to wait 30 minutes." I said "Nope. I am 73 year old with type 2 diabetes and feet that have been numb in recent years. I've seen a chiropractor with little success. I went to The New Massage Orient and Lisa gave me a 90 minute massage including Reflexology on my feet. I noticed such improvement that I went just back the next week to Lisa for a second time. The ownership for this location changed earlier this year. I have been a repeat customer since the ownership change and happy every time with the service. Julia and Lily both provide a great massage. I have probably been there ~30 times and will continue to go weekly. Be patient with them, sometimes there is a little communication difficulty but nothing you can't overcome. I have been to many places for a massage, but now exclusively go here. They are very nice people and provide a great service at a great price. read more

I like the massages but its very rude and ruins the experience ( not to mention wastes my money) because every time I have been they stop the massage to take phone calls and book appointments! Never seen such a thing. If they ever start putting their phone on silent and takes calls only AFTER their appts I will consider returning. They should also not talk to each other during treatments. This was our second time visiting this location. My boyfriend booked us couples massages both times. The first time my technician kept stopping to answer the phone. Other than that the massage itself was wonderful, I felt comfortable and had no issues. So we decided to give it another chance. Yesterday we booked a couples massage. My boyfriend offered to take the bed I had previously had so that I didn't have to deal with the phone incident if it occurred again. I told him not to worry about it as there seemed to be someone up front that was answering the phones. A male came to his door as we were changing asking him if we had an appt at 1 pm. We thought this was a little strange as we were already back getting undressed and checked in at this time. I received a male technician which wasn't a huge deal as I have had a male tech before for a massage at other facilities. The only hesitation that we had was that my boyfriend (whos bed was 5 feet from the head of mine in the other adjoining room received a female. The massage started out fine, just gentle over the top of the sheet. Then it became really weird. He pulled the sheet down about 1/3 past the top of my bottom, and started breathing extremely heavy when he began the massage. My hands were resting at the top of the bed just stacked on top of each other, he stood in front of me rubbing from the top of my shoulders down almost to the bottom of my glutes. Every time he would massage down he would press his hips into the top of the bed right where my hands were resting. At one point he pinned my arm behind my back and started massaging the crack at the top of my arm (up near armpit). He was pushing so hard on my traps closest to my neck with his arms that at one point I thought I could have passed out With the sheet still pulled down he lifted my arm up and slightly pushing me the opposite direction causing my chest to pull up from the table, I have a hard time imagining that there was no way he could not see my chest and it was exposed. At one point he actually sat on the massage table down by my hips. He left the room abruptly at one point and when he came back he was thankfully not breathing hard anymore but continued to massage me with a sexual undertone (think of how you would massage your significant other). While still laying on my stomach, he then took my right leg, bent at the knee a pulled it out to the side pushing it so that my foot rested at the top of my left inner thigh. The sheet was still pulled down exposing the top 1/3 of my bottom, he walked out of the room leaving me there like that for a couple of minutes leaving the door to the room completely open. I pulled the sheet back up which he pulled back down again when he came back. A few minutes after this occurred people opened the door to the room a couple of times (I could not understand what was being said as it was in another language). At this point they informed me that someone else was going to take over. While the rest of the massage was a little more manageable it was still completely unprofessional. People walking in and out of the room making conversation, the now female tech completely pulled the entire sheet off of me, leaving absolutely nothing covered and began washing me off with a wet rag (my massage was maybe only half way complete at this time). towards the end she rolled my over to my back move the sheet to expose one of my legs (typically when the sheet is moved in any manner the edge is tucked to avoid anything showing) which it wasn't, just draped over the one leg. She then pushed my knee towards my chest and started giggling. She then said something, still laughing that I couldn't quite make out (its sounded like "you're so soft" but I'm not sure if that's what was said as I had a hard time understanding her). My boyfriend requested hot stones at the beginning of our appt, they then claimed no one mentioned hot stones (this happened the first visit as well), but thankfully honored his request this time after he insisted that he had in fact requested hot stones. Since yesterday afternoon I have replayed the events over and over hoping that I was over reacting, but I feel utterly and completely violated. I understand there is going to be a level of physical touch involved but I have never experienced a massage (by male or female) that had such an apparent aggressive, sexual undertone and a blatant disregard for the respect of privacy for the patron who is already in a vulnerable position. Needless to say we will never visit this establishment again. read more

I've been to Massage Orient maybe a dozen times. It's kind of a "no frills" place, but they always do excellent work and are friendly. My favorite services are the reflexology and chair massage. My only criticism is that it's sometimes a bit noisy because the massage chairs are in the lobby area. They also have treatment rooms for table massages but the walls don't go all the way to the ceiling so you get a bit of noise there too. That said, they are still much better than the membership-based chains I've visited in the past. Would definitely recommend! read more

Aaron is great, I met him when he still worked in St Augustine last year. My foot had been hurting for months despite all my attempts to stretch out the muscles that were sore from the hours of walking I was doing with my job. He worked on me and my foot felt the best it had in years, and it continued to feel better for months. My wife went to him recently at his new business Massage Orient and her shoulders felt much better, and I could see how much her posture improved. Sometimes it is really nice when you are tired and sore to have someone else work on you when you don't have the energy or leverage to fix something yourself. This talkative woman not only purchased the second 30 minutes quickly but I simply fell silent within 20 minutes! This was so peaceful and relaxing. I was a walk-in and they told me it was a 20-minute wait. No problem, I said I'd come back and waited for someone to take my name and what treatment I wanted. Nope. I offered and the receptionist took my name. I came back in 20 minutes and waited another 10 minutes. There was one technician who kep interfering with the work of the receptionist, which proved to do nothing other than to complicate further an already chaotic environment - not good for a relaxing massage experience. When my technician, Tom, told me to come with him, I had to ask him to wash his hands and arms because he had lotion/oil all over himself from the previous massage - GROSS. Now here comes the meddlesome technician to complicate things again. Tom could not understand the receptionist, who I told three times that I wanted a foot and chair masage. Tom tried to take me back for a table massage, which the receptionist said is what I wanted. This was just too chaotic and I was very concerned about hygiene so I said no thank you and left. Whether they give good massages or not, I will never find out. This is no environment for a relaxing massage to say nothing of the unprofessional performance of all. read more

I have been using massage Orient for the last nine or ten months and I couldn't be happier. My masseus is Aaron.I use Aaron primarily but the other ladies seem very knowledgeable as well, so it all depends if you would like a man or woman. I suffer from Fibromyalgia and have a lot of muscle pain and weekly massages help a lot with managing pain. Aaron does a great job in finding all the pressure points to release the tension in my muscles. I highly recommend massage Orient for reflexology or massages. read more
