I want to start off by saying this was the BEST massage of my life, no exaggeration. Because this was so phenomenal, I am going to do my best to be extremely detailed. Rose, thank you so very much for your attention to detail, excellent work/technique, and exquisite pressure. I will most ASSUREDLY be back again! Believe it or not, a bad review is what brought me here. Someone made comment about not enjoying getting attention paid to her glutes/butt region. In my time getting massages in Jacksonville (at places such as Hand & Stone or Massage Envy), I have all but begged masseuses to appropriately give my glutes the same attention as every other part of my body, only to be met with 2 seconds of elbow work over a towel. I was so excited to see that someone was able to include this, as I have chronic hip problems and a primarily sedentary work life. Disclaimer: part of your underwear is rolled down for this so if you aren't comfortable with that, be sure to let her know. When I arrived, I paid up front. After reading all other reviews, I knew to expect a $3 card charge as well as providing a tip upfront. I learned that this is the case because other people have come in for services and then refused to pay afterwards. After learning this context, I was totally ok with paying everything upfront. I had scheduled a 90 minute massage, which was priced at $90 - this was incredibly reasonable, as some places charge over $100 for the same service. Once I paid, we went straight back. She lead me to a room and showed me where I could put my phone and jewelry - it is a small lock box that you hold the key to for the entire session. She instructed me to undress , lay facedown, and would be back shortly. When she came back, this massage started off with a dry towel rub down. This is a pretty common practice based on other places I've been. Afterwards, a good amount of time was spent on my back with what I think was body oil - considering the back is the largest canvas to work on, oil was definitely the best choice. It allowed her to have easier long, smooth strokes. I don't know if it's common for her to start on the left side of the body and back, but that was precisely the side I needed help with and was in the most pain. She even got onto the table to best leverage adequate pressure and use all of her body weight. The time spent on my neck and shoulders actually gave me goosebumps. After working on my back, she paid some attention to my arms, legs, and even my scalp with really good smelling lotion. Once all limbs were massaged, I got hot stones! Most places will charge extra for this, so I've never gotten it before. What an absolute TREAT; it was so pleasant and relaxing. Following the entire back massage, I was instructed to turn face up. I was on my side for a moment while she positioned hot stones under my back to lay on with a towel on top. From here I got a scalp and hairline massage - my ears were even included! I will say, I have very fine hair and since her hands had a mixture of oil and lotion, I left with it pretty teased and oily. Since I shower after every massage (mostly a sensory thing, as well as easily clogged pores), I truly didn't mind. She even put my hair back into a ponytail when she was done. If you have plans afterwards, I recommend having a brush handy in your car. Once she finished my scalp, she did more work on my arms, hands, legs, and feet - this was perhaps the most thorough foot massage I've ever gotten within a 90 minute session; it was divine. Once she was done, she asked me how I felt - which was absolutely incredible and somewhat blissed out. I had been experiencing back pain that had persisted beyond a week and I left genuinely feeling pain free; I actually couldn't believe it. After redressing, I met her at the front desk where she gave me a fresh, cold bottle of water. She then gave me her business card and I asked her name so that I could give her proper credit here. I highly recommend giving this place a chance. The one experience I had here overshadowed every other place I've been previously. I seriously won't go anywhere else again! 10/10 read more

Went here to get massage because I am way overdue. I got the 90 min massage for $100. Before you get the massage they have you pay first. Never experienced that before. I booked my appointment via online/ ClassPass. The owner whom got called over the phone, including the lady that was there on 1/19, kept telling me that ClassPass normally call the store first, pay them and then I can get seen. I was also asked to provide a credit card to bill, which I refused. Been using ClassPass for a while now and I never had a problem booking online. This is the first place that given me a headache. My best friend and I got a couples massage and the moment we walked in they were extremely friendly. Honestly I was dying laughing! I loved everything but my one warning is if you have never had a massage they don't really give you to much instruction or guidance on what to expect. The 2 ladies who did out massage may look small but they are so strong. I actually had to ask her to go softer. I wasn't sure what to expect but it was so great! They started with a towel over us to warm up and massage the back. Then they did oil & hot stones. They massaged our neck, back, arms, legs, and gluts. My favorite part was the end they massage my scalp and face! For a couples massage for an hour it was 120 and we left a tip per person. Well...I honestly did not expect to flash my ass to the world. I called to request a Thai massage with my friend last minute. They told us to come in within an hour. We got to the location around 4:10pm Once I got in and got immediately charge $60 + $3 for credit card each. They told me to sign and tip. I told them " I will tip later. " My massage room was the closest to the front. My therapist told me to get undress and lay on table with towel. So I got undress wrapped myself in a towel and lay down on the table. Within 5 mins she came in and pulled the towel off of me. And gave me a DRY towel rub down. It felt like a rug burn running through my body. My therapist then stepped out and left the door open. In and out about 7-8 times. I asked her to closed the door and she slightly left it at ajar. She came back and continue with the oil massage. It did not feel good at first but she definitely got most of my knots out. She got on top of the table putting more pressure on me. More oil on my body this time she pulled my underwear down. @ss up and she walked out with the door open playing receptionist at the same time. She started rub and massage my butt. I did not like the feeling so I pulled my underwear back up and said "no thank you." She was fine with that....the door is still open. Then the hot stone massage. It felt good, however they definitely put the stones in a bowl of water and microwaving it, I'm pretty sure that's illegal. I could hear them pressing the buttons ... She asked me to turn over. And massage me. At the end she rubbed and patted my stomach and said "1 hour up." She ended the massage a few minutes early + the amount of time she left the room. In the end I did not get a Thai massage, but I was able to moon people as they walk by. I felt violated. read more

So, my daughter relocated from RVA/GNV by way of UF for a job at Baptist Medical. I was behind in my training plan so needless to say my body is in pain. After reading several reviews I decided to book a week ahead and I was very pleased with the results. My local massage envy closed during the pandemic leaving me without care so I have decided to push on and try alternatives locations. If you are an athlete or need a real massage this is your place. I loved the fact that the massage therapist was able to reach all my problem areas without any issues. The price for 90 minutes with the use of stones was beyond reasonable. If you want some tutti fruiti products, a up-sale of everything, or need a psychologist this is not your place. Rose is a very skillful therapist who is good at her craft and seems to genuinely enjoy helping people. I have never been to a place where they are so thorough about really getting down deep into the muscle tissue and breaking up the knots. I recently had surgery and this massage was what I needed after having been inactive and sore for about 2 months. Highly recommend for anyone who wants deep pressure and relief.
