Teddylicious Desserts is a rapidly growing chain of six stores in the greater Birmingham area…read morefocused on ice cream, milkshakes, cakes, waffles, and cookie dough recipes. The Erdington location is in a homely shop front near the train station and is decked out in the chain's signature pink and black colours. There's not a ton of room for sitting in, as this shop is primarily focused on collection and delivery orders. I've purchased desserts here for eating in, delivery, and most recently collection, giving me a breadth of experiences from which to rate their service. Ordering is easy enough through their website, or if you want, Just Eat. Delivery requires a £10 minimum without additional costs, and was delivered within 25 minutes of my order, roughly 1.5 miles from their store. If ordered for collection, their website displays a timer with a countdown of when your order will be ready. In my case, I arrived early with six minutes to spare, and my desserts were ready to go. My orders have centred solely on their cough doughs and ice creams, although the other menu items look good enough for a second look. The cookie dough is available starting at £3.75 and up depending on the toppings chosen. Each cookie dough also comes with a scoop of ice cream with your choice of flavour. The cookie dough is baked to order, and will satisfy most sweet teeth. Toppings available come in the form of commercial sweets, such as oreos and reese's cups. The ice cream on the other hand is not my favourite, carrying what tastes like an artificial sweetener flavour. A 10% discount is available for all website orders. Even without the discount, Teddylicious offers a value much better than most of the dessert bars that have been popping up all over Brum as of late. If you are looking for a slightly above average dessert experience without the need to leave your house, Teddylicious is certainly the way to go!

This is a fine dining experience with desserts. Moved to a bigger location few minutes down the…read moreLadypool Road. Easily noticable from distance than the previous one which was very small shop. Looks amazing and posh-like from outside. So I knew things were different in this new place. There wasn't a line when went there and had few of our friends inside waiting for us at a table. Biggest change I noticed was space and the staff. There are lots of staff inside and all in uniform. Interior design is pretty sleek. It's hard to believe this place is in Ladypool Road. Should be somewhere in city centre or broad street because many people should try this place. You'd think there would be lack of customers but walking out in the end there was a huge line outside. The previous place was popular and many people were suggesting a bigger place, but from what I saw they might need even bigger place. They're extending the back to add more capacity to this place. Still in development, so soon would hold more people. Obviously Heavenly Desserts are good at what they do and quite popular. I just ate before coming here and didn't want go for big dessert or waffle (the regular I get). Got crepe which comes with strawberries, scoop of vannila ice cream and strawberry sauce. I figured crepe would be light and small, how wrong I was. Was biggest crepe I had. Anyways It was delicious and place was buzzing. Everyone seemed to be having great time with their friends. It does get a little noisy but we sat in a big group section so it's to be expected. The two main staff (manager and assitant I think) were amazing and polite. The assitant manager was polite when showing people to their seats and as we were leaving, he was outside talking to the kids who were in line with their parents. That's awesome, and the whole experience from stepping in to the end was amazing. So gets 5 Stars from me. Try get yourself down here sometime. They do variety of deserts. The menu book is big....like Lord of the Rings big. Note: if you going with a group, call a day or 2 early to avoid waiting in line.

Where do I begin....should it be with the apple crumble gelato, with actual apple crumble in it? Or…read moreshould it be with the fact on my first visit I got to sample 5 different flavours? There was a lot of excitement locally, awaiting the opening of Moochie B's and they have not dissapointed us. As a big fan of all things sugary, I knew this was somewhere I would have to visit, particularly as it's a 5 minute walk from where I work and the fact the interior is pink! Inside there's a kind of American Diner feel, which I love. The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. Everyone who knows me knows that customer service is VERY important to me and again I was not dissapointed here. I also love the fact that this is a family run business. I heard on the grapevine that the manager/owner went to Italy to train to make gelato! Talking to him, it's clear he has a passion for it and was happy to discuss how the gelato was made and new flavours he was exploring. I asked about whether he would be doing diary free ice cream and was told that he was experimenting with this, but would also be offering sorbet at some point too. This made me VERY happy. The milkshakes seem particularly popular, but on my most recent visit, I had a fresh made waffle and gelato. Strawberries and cream come as standard, although I did not partake. The gelato was so creamy and full of flavour and the waffle was huge, so I was a very happy person.

I got their later than everyone else, so I missed out on the food, but everyone else was full and impressed. Both visits were on a Sunday during lunch and the food preparation was perfect. The Big Lounge salad boasts a delightful variety of flavors and textures. I really like the tarragon mustard seed vinaigrette as it brings a level of brightness to the vegetables and blends well with the creamy ripe avocado chunks. This past Sunday, I ordered the Sherbet Lemonade. At 2 quid something a glass, this beverage is spectacular and definitely worth the price tag. Think of it as dessert or nice virgin cocktail. The playful presentation and summery sweetness make it hard not to gulp the whole glass before the meal arrives. I really dig the decor in this place. It feels somewhat like a vintage 70s art lounge, with groovy wallpaper and large framed paintings covering the full length of the main wall. There is ample seating and comfortable chairs. Seating arrangements are nicely spaced to create privacy and patrons are welcomed to stay for an afternoon with board games and a mini-library. The lighting features are custom crafted from salvaged naval lanterns and the wall of windows facing the road provide a not-too-bright sunlit glow. This is a new go-to place for us!
