I was really nervous to go in for my Kybella appointment, but it was something that I had wanted to do for awhile. Katie at SweetTox did everything to calm my nerves. She was so educated on her craft that my confidence in her abilities increased exponentially with each interaction. Not only does Katie radiate an aura of careful confidence and expertise, the atmosphere of the entire SweetTox boutique is just so sweet, light, and fun. It really is like a sweets shop for adults! We had our consultation a few weeks in advance and decided that 3 vials would help me achieve my desired results. Katie had given me some advice on prepping for my appointment in advance, so I made sure to follow all of her directions to a T. Katie is amazing. I have been seeing her for botox and fillers for more than 2 years. I have a very small forehead and we worked to rid my forehead of deep wrinkles while balancing eye lid droop. I am 56 and already experience eye lid heaviness and laugh lines from aging. Katie recommended PDO Threads as an alternative. A non-surgical brow and cheek lift that was relatively painless with no downtime. I was a little concerned about pain after watching the videos ... yikes! Katie assured me I would receive anesthetic, both topical and subcutaneously. It worked as I only felt pressure during the thread insertion, not pain. I had no bruising and a very small amount of swelling, actually puffiness. I used ice the first couple days. I felt a slight soreness with smiling and took Tylenol which completely alleviated it. It gave my eyelids and face immediate tightening and lifting. Katie is incredibly skilled and pays great attention to detail. I look and feel 10 years younger. I never thought a non-surgical procedure could achieve the results I have. Sweet Tox is such an amazing place! From the front desk to the injectors (shout out to Sammy and Jaime), this place treats you SO well! They are so thorough on what the plan is on what you would like done and guide you along to make sure everyone is on the same page! They do a great job of letting you know negative side effects, which is amazing, because at the end of the day, it is 100% on the patient to educate themselves before making an appointment to know the side effects and to not be naive that it won't happen to them and brush it off. Unfortunately they do happen and it's not Sweet Tox's fault! Education is key when it comes to anything and Sweet Tox does SO much to make you aware of those negative effects! I had a wonderful facial with Dani this week. The entire experience from the check in to check out was just relaxing. I arrived early and was drawn to the products and was enjoying the atmosphere when I had a nice visit from Lulu, Chief Happiness Officer! (How do you not smile) I mean even the bathroom makes you smile! The facial from Dani was awesome! She took her time and had a great touch and answered any questions I had. It was a relaxing experience, and I can't wait to come back for other treatments. My skin was so hydrated and glowing for hours afterwards! This is one time I felt bad that I couldn't leave a tip!
