We went to this pharmacy, then they sent us to another Walgreens on 76th street -- and they told us when we got there, there was no prescription... then they changed their mind and said come in Thursday (next day). Finally after a heated exchange with pharmacist, he located my prescription and wanted to give me 3x quantity that I requested and charged me a co-pay. I explained I did not have a copay. They wouldn't give it me without paying. I needed the prescription, which was now 2 weeks after I needed it. I don't ever recall this Walgreens getting it right the first time. EVER. Plus the pharmacy has limited hours -- not open on weekends and closed at 7pm the rest of the week. And, every time you call, set aside at least a half hour or more. They're always understaffed. And the voice robot answering calls repeats the hours, the lunch break times, the hours, and other information that takes 3-4 minutes to hear needlessly. Ok ! We've heard it -- can't I get to the pharmacist before I need to go through the robot parodical and get a person. And the staff is largely inept. What a poor excuse for a pharmacy! Save yourself a migraine and go to anywhere else.

The first 2 are slow, but get done. The 3rd lady needs something special, and has something with an address change, I don't know, but she seemed decent enough. The checkout clerk (an older woman) is having a problem changing that address in the system, and calls a manager. The manager says "we can't change that" or something along those lines, and walks away. (you DON'T walk away as a manager, you finish it) They continue to mess with it. I'm still waiting. I walk away and get a different 12 pack of soda, not sure if the 3 packs special will allow 2 pepsi and 1 coke, so I figure while I'm waiting I'm going to bring another 12 pack of pepsi and set it nearby in the event I'm going to need to grab it quick (so I don't hold anyone up). I get back, still waiting (now going on probably 10 minutes total). The clerk looks at me and asks "Do you know how to do this?". I'm not kidding, she just asked me to run her register for her. I've never met this woman in my life before (not like I even see her twice a day or something). She ALSO just invited me to invade her other customer's privacy! Now normally I would have taken that opportunity to be a real jerk (either quote her a $200/hr technical consultation fee, creep out their other customer, or just unplug their system and say it is fixed, etc)... but I was too tired to go through that much work. I pushed my cart to the side, and just walked right past them out the door. I was done 20 minutes later at Walmart literally 20 seconds away. I've had great experiences with other employees at this store, so I still gave them a 2 realizing they can overcome any poor rating... but I think there is a reason so many Walgreens are closing... it is middle management.

The shop is pretty spare, but Preet explained all the safety techniques she uses to ensure a hygienic experience. She was friendly, thorough and unrushed. We talked procedures, colors, etc. I may pull the trigger eventually, but this is not a cheap service. I did get a tint done and my first threading. It went well. She didn't have the color I wanted for the "permanent" eyebrows, but I did walk out with more definition, a pleasing shape and a good overall feeling.

I had a Brazilian wax a year ago from a fancy spa in Brookfield...(won't say the name but it rhymes with Chazana...) and I vowed I would NEVER do that again. My hubby talked me into it, and can I just say it was SO different from what I experienced????? Ok??? Susan was SO kind and understand and kept me talking the entire time. I have had Brazilian waxes at 3 or 4 different places and this was the absolute most painful and she just kept tearing off the strips and had the nerve to tell me that I am probably one of those people that shouldn't get these waxes done because of how painful I said she was. It was her, not me. I never had a wax that was this painful. Then when she was done, I just wanted to get out of there so I hopped of the table and started to change. She had the nerve to say, "can you at least wait until I leave the room?". Seriously!!?? She had no problem walking in on me while I was changing and had just seen the most private areas of my body and she now had a problem that I wanted to get my clothes on as quickly as possible. It's been yearssss since I've had a spray tan, but with travel coming up (and the fact that I've…read morehardly seen the sun this winter), it was time. I've been to GADIS for facials, but never a spray tan so this was a first! Tiffany welcomed me and led me down to their spray room on the lower lever. Because it had been so long, I had a few questions, to which she answered: (1) I could shower after a few hours, (2) spraying my face was optional, and (3) the tan should last roughly a week depending on shower/scrubbing. Disclaimer: you need to be comfortable being completely unclothed for this experience lol. I was given a hair net and directed to use the provided lotion on areas like fingers, elbows, and knees to prevent any tan build up. The whole process took about fifteen minutes and I was definitely no longer looking pasty white by the end of it. It's weird but normal to feel a bit sticky for a while afterwards, but once you rinse off in the shower (water only for the first post-tan shower), you feel much better. All in all, recommend!
