This did not reflect the 5-star standard being claimed. The cake looked nothing like the photo provided it was rushed, messy, and poorly executed. On top of that, it tasted stale. My sister was excited for this, and it was honestly disappointing. Expectations were not met at all.

In 2025 me and my husband got married and wanted tirimisu as our wedding cake. Not everyone has this option! But sweetly blessed baker did and I was so grateful. It came out beautifully as well! The cake was delicious, very sweet, and I would order from Karen again. Thank you!

Karen did such an amazing job with our Ciao Baby shower themed desserts! She made mini cheesecake with fresh fruit, tiramisu shooters, butter pecan bars, and sugar cookie party favors - Everything was beautiful and delicious. She's so helpful with giving guidance on dessert recommendations fitting for the occasion, accommodating special requests, and communicating expectations. We ordered a small two tier wedding cake with a vintage inspired design. Karen delivered the cake to our venue without a hitch and the cake was gorgeous and delicious. We also tried her cake tasting pack beforehand and all the flavors were amazing, it was a tough choice but we ended up choosing her cinnamon roll flavor. Really easy communication, we would definitely recommend if you're looking for a wedding cake!

I booked Karen for my wedding and no regrets! The cake was the best cake I've ever had and I'm not even being biased bc it was my own wedding cake. Everything was beautiful and the dessert table setup was perfect with my storybook fairytale theme (beauty and the beast ).

$170 for this quality? My boyfriend decided to surprise me with a cake for my birthday. He's from out of town and decided to look for a bakery to custom make me a cake for my birthday. When I went to pick up the cake, the owner wasn't there so her son gave me the cake. Which was fine. But at first he tried to tell me that my boyfriend still owed $85 on the cake. Which my boyfriend had already paid in advance. I think he checked with his mom because after I told him it was already paid in full. He ended up going inside and then after gave me the cake. But when I saw the cake, I was immediately disappointed and didn't know what to say. It was a surprise so I didn't want to hurt my boyfriends feelings but the cake looked awful. I could tell the cake was meant to be a heart shape. But really it looked more like a triangle. The piping on the cake borders, the hearts and music notes, and even just the lettering was pretty bad. Some of the hearts don't even look like hearts. But I still didn't want to say anything to my boyfriend because it was sweet that he even tried to custom order a cake. But then, when he got there the next day and we cut the cake I was even more disappointed. It was at least 4 or 5 thin layers of cake with a thick layer of frosting in between to bulk up the cake. The outside icing was at least an inch to an inch and a half thick. I describe myself as someone with a big sweet tooth. But I honestly couldn't take more than 3 bites of the cake at a time before feeling sick from just how sweet it was. Also, the cake was moist, but super dense. Even a friend who is a chef said it seemed more like it was brownie batter than actual cake. I'm honestly super disappointed in the price and the quality. My boyfriend refused to tell me at first how much it was. But he finally told me it was $170. Which is honestly OUTRAGEOUS for the quality of the cake. And is what led to me wanting to leave a review. I wouldn't recommend getting a cake from here. The cake honestly looks like it was very rushed and I feel like the fact that my boyfriend was from out of town and paid in full prior to even receiving the cake, he was taken advantage of. My boyfriend ended up agreeing that the cake definitely did not meet expectations and we won't be ordering with this bakery again. I wish I had taken a picture of the inside of the cake so you could see just how thin the cake portion was and how many layers of icing were used to build it up.

Karen baked me 3 - 8inch cakes, sugar cookies and cakepops for a bridal shower I was hosting and she knocked it out of the ballpark with her talent!! EVERY flavor was outstanding!! I reached out to Karen after having a very negative experience with a local bakery and I am SO happy that I decided to do business with her instead! She was very responsive and easy to work with and very fairly priced for how high quality her desserts taste and look. Even with the busy-ness of fall and wedding season she was flexible and able to fit my order in to her schedule. She made a custom order of cupcakes and cake pops for my baby shower and they were not only delicious but beautifully decorated! I told her that the shower was fall themed and the baby was a boy and I love the design she ended up with (blue icing and tiny pumpkin sprinkles). I am so happy that I ordered her seasonal pumpkin cupcakes with cinnamon cream cheese frosting because they were the perfect balance of sweet and spice and the frosting was so light and creamy which I prefer over most overwhelming cupcake frostings. Karen did an awesome job on my daughters first birthday cake and cupcakes this weekend!! We did an "Under the sea Mermaid theme." She was so sweet and helpful when I contacted her. Her communication was great. She gave me advise on good flavor pairings. She even let me barrow a cake stand and two cupcake stands so I didn't have to spend extra money buying them. I will definitely be contacting her for my next event! & recommending her to all my friends and family. I showed her a picture of the cake I wanted. She did her own twist on it and it turned out absolutely beautiful! Same goes for the cupcakes! She did not disappoint! Not to mention how delicious the cake tasted! Karen made my wedding cake a couple of weeks ago and it was absolutely perfect and what I had envisioned! After doing an initial tasting with another company and be completely disappointed with their bland cake and frosting I took to Yelp to find other local options. I LOVE cake and I wanted ours to taste good and not just be beautiful on the outside. I called Sweet Little Baker after reading her other reviews despite not really seeing anything specific in regards to wedding cakes on her site. And I am SOOOO glad I did. We discussed my cake design (a 4 tier cake with a rustic, knifed frosting design) during our first conversation. She wanted to be sure she could deliver something I would be happy with. Then we scheduled a tasting. You can order a set of 6 large cupcakes and choose the cake and frosting flavors you were interested in so you can taste what you will actually be ordering. You do pay for the cupcakes (well worth it), but she gives you a credit towards your cake if you wind up booking with her. We could not decide on just one flavor because they were all so yummy so we were excited to find out we could make each tier a different cake flavor with a different filling. On the wedding day Karen arrived to personally set up the cake. It was a very hot day and our wedding was outside. She came as late as she could to set up so that the cake wouldn't be in the heat too long. She placed the fresh flowers my florist had left for her and it was beautiful! The cake was delicious and our guests loved it. We were so happy to have some leftovers to take home too. Cake for breakfast the morning after. :) Karen is now officially our 'go to' baker. She was a part of the celebration of the beginning of our lives together and we look forward to having her bake for many more celebrations to come! read more

I found Karen through Yelp, and because of all her great reviews decided to go with her to do my son's birthday cake, cake pops, and sugar cookies. My son's party was Harry Potter themed, so I showed Karen examples of the designs I had in mind. The cake turned out wonderfully; it was a scaled-down version of the cake I had shown her, since I did not want a full-sized cake. The cake pops, although not quite like the pictures I had shown her, were moist and delicious; a big hit with the guests. The sugar cookies, which were wrapped and placed in the favor bags, were perfect, and tasted yummy! This is the 2nd time I've ordered from Sweet Little Baker and it was just as amazing as the first cake! The first cake was a tres leches cake, and let me say it is the most amazing tres leches cake I've ever tasted! The decoration was just as amazing... DELICIOUS and BEAUTIFUL! We threw a Christmas/birthday party and all our guests raved about the desserts. The sugar cookies were adorable and so detailed. The sweater cookies had little collars and buttons even! The peanut butter kiss cookies were decorated beautifully with swirls around the kisses and little gold balls on the tip of the kisses. I even asked Karen to make my favorite recipe of my Mom's, and she said sure! I was strapped for time and Karen set up the dessert table for us just adorably. I found Karen on Yelp and based off of her glowing reviews I decided to give her a try. I ordered a dozen emoji themed cookies from her for my daughter's 7th birthday. I hadn't found anyone whose work could compare to what I had envisioned in my mind until I found Karen. These cookies looked so good and she created a different emoji face for each cookie. First and foremost I want to thank Karen for doing an amazing job on both of my daughters birthday cakes. She takes her time, and makes every cake unique. I am a former on air radio personality/hairdresser turned stay at home mom of two beautiful children. I grew up watching my grandmothers and mother bake as way to show their love to people. I have truly fallen in love with all things SWEET. If it is sweet I can custom make it for you! I have taken several decorating classes and continue to soak in and learn as much as I can about this industry. When I get a new request I get giddy thinking about how fun it will be to design something new. I think that is what I enjoy the most, that each creation is uniquely its own. But it is not enough for something to look good. First and foremost it must taste good too, so I make sure to only use the best recipes, ingredients and flavors! We took our 2 year old toddler with us, and they were so gracious and helpful with her and made it special for her too. I am admittedly not the biggest cake lover, but their cake flavors were delicious! We decided to go with a smaller cake and add in desserts, so we got to taste those as well and we were not disappointed. We loved it so much, we signed a contract for their services on the spot! We can't wait for our guests to enjoy the cake and desserts at our vow renewal!

The cake was both beautiful and delicious - moist, pillowy, and perfectly balanced. The frosting complimented the cake instead of overpowering it, and our guests loved it so much that there was hardly any left by the end of the night. If we hadn't requested to save the top, we wouldn't have had any to bring home. The extra desserts were just as incredible. The chocolate-covered strawberries were a huge hit for both their flavor and adorable design, and the cheesecake bites disappeared almost instantly. Everything was presented beautifully and it all went fast, which is always a good sign. The tasting process was also a highlight. They were kind and welcoming, and since we went in with a good idea of what we wanted (after reading their info ahead of time), it made the experience easy and enjoyable instead of overwhelming. One tip: book your tasting appointment as early as possible, because those slots fill up quickly. A couple of helpful notes for future couples: a cake stand isn't included, so be sure to add that to your list. And if you're working with them through an all-inclusive venue, you'll need to pay a little extra for the premium flavors - but trust us, they're worth every penny. We couldn't recommend Gruttadauria's more. Their cakes and desserts were an unforgettable part of our wedding, and our guests are still talking about them.

It was perfect timing because the 91 year old vet I cared for had just told me it was his birthday. I placed a call to A's and asked if she could put something together for me. The cake was amazing and fit for a king! I'd never seen Charles smile like that. It was moist and beautifully decorated. It even taste better than my mother's (and that's saying something) the price was more than reasonable. I've had the pleasure of ordering several more times over the years. I've never gotten a less than epic product.

I first started out by reaching out to the owner Debbie through email to see if she could help…read morecreate what I was looking for. She was extremely kind and responsive! She was always very accommodating to my fiancé and I since we didn't live in California at the time that we were planning our wedding. We would be in California for only a few dates and could only make it out to Temecula at certain times and Debbie was still able to help us plan it all and provide a cake tasting for us. That tasting was phenomenal and sold us right away! Paying for the creation of cakes was pretty easy! They don't send out reminders if you split out the payments (I did it in two payments) so make sure to pay attention to the dates. The only downside in all of this was trying to reach out to Debbie right before our wedding (to ensure the second payment went through to her and to ensure our cake would be ready and arriving at our venue). When I did get ahold of her, she did not remember me or my order, but assured me it was in her calendar. Luckily, my wedding day of organizer was able to coordinate with her ahead of time and I did not know of this until my rehearsal day. So all in all it worked out and everything was assured! Our cake turned out perfect! Exactly what Debbie and I had spoken about almost a year before. We couldn't have been happier with the moist cake and yummy soft filling and frosting. It was SO good! Can't go wrong with these beautiful and delicious cakes!

From the initial tasting, she had provided such delicious yet beautiful tasting cakes which was so much cake for two people! Also her store is beautiful with so many incredible cakes/designs on display. We knew that we had to have more of her desserts for our big day so we picked a handful of her other desserts and all our guests raved about it! I luckily snagged the last fruit tart and I can still remember how fresh and perfectly crumbly it tasted. Thank you so much again Debbie!

BoCakes was a recommended vendor for our wedding, and they were by far our favorite to work with…read more They are clear, communicative, and know exactly what is needed for your big day. We booked a tasting, and I can confidently say that it was too hard to choose because everything is so delicious. Their homemade buttercream is to die for. Cathy walked us through the process of selecting the cake flavors and fillings and even gave us time alone so we weren't pressured to have certain reactions. Once we filled out our forms, she asked about general design questions and anything else she may need to know before we wrapped things up. On the day of, everything went so smoothly and the cake was beautiful and delicious. I realized I didn't have a picture of the cakes without it faces in them, so I don't have a picture to share. It was already perfectly set up so we didn't have to worry about anything. We also remembered Cathy telling us that she has a deal where you can ask for your cake to be remade on the one year wedding anniversary. We called about two weeks in advance and she said she would happily make one of them for a discounted price. We picked it up and Cathy was busy as ever but still made time to talk with us and congratulate us on one year. We took our cake home and it was beautiful. Even better, the cake was so delicious and brought back some memories of the day. Nothing can beat her skills at baking, designing, and communicating. If I could ask BoCakes to make all my cakes for other big celebrations, I most certainly would!
