Essential to any co-working employee is a copy shop that is reasonably priced. At $0.50 a color copy this shop is a rare find. Other copy places can range 99 cents or dollar fifty per copy. I had a printing crisis yesterday when our other copier decided to decline our request at the last minute. I called Swift at around 1pm for a printing job I needed by 5:30 for an event close to their location. We needed 175 color variable name tags, 35 db color agenda pages, and another 25 color pages. The employees at Swift were very quick to respond to my request and got on it right away. They seriously saved my butt and I'm so gracious and thankful thank they understood my sense of urgency and were willing to help me out!! i was very happy with swift copy printing as my business cards and brochures were done the right way with no mistakes and the prices were reasonable . the place is off 5th ave on 36th st and its semi hidden as i dont walk much along the side streets that much. the staff are helpful and with todays tech advancements i can see my finish product on a tablet and any chances or fine tuning is a snap. all the work is done in store so i only had to wait one day for my stuff. from printing , copies , business cards , rubber stamps, laminating , banners , etc , they do it here and its done right. i will give swift copy printing more business as i need a large banner that reads slackers lounge which i assume my useless staff will not find funny. read more

I love this little, crazy-sign-filled spot. They beat all competitor's price for business cards and they apparently can do and make any sign or print job. I even stumbled into a Vivienne Westwood sample sale right after walking out of here. More on the business cards: My company was using a company for a very long time and the price for a set of cards seemed excessive. Came in to get a manuscript bound. I wanted paper binding but they didn't have that option. Only comb and cello binding. Since I needed it done I went with the velo binding which was listed in he sample they showed me as costing $5 which is exactly how much I usually pay. I come back an hour later and am informed that the binding is $10. When I question it they told me the $5 price is for more than one copy. Which was not on the sample and wasn't communicated to me. Lesson learned. I don't care how close they are, I'll go someplace that can do the job I want at a fair price. read more

We used Swift Copy for our wedding invitations. They have an enormous selection of fancy, formal invitations (stop by and page through their album) but we just wanted something very simple--something that a lot of invitation companies don't offer. We also wanted it bilingual--so, two-sided--which they were able to do, no problem. The paper was a really nice quality. They were very friendly and worked with us to make an invitation set that we liked, for a relatively low cost. There was only one hiccup when our RSVP envelopes first got delayed at the printers and then they came in wrong (which Swift Copy caught before giving them to us), but they were very apologetic and kindly comped us some blank envelopes, since we had ordered them a little bit too last minute anyway and didn't have time to wait for the corrected ones to come in. I work in retail--this kind of thing happens and is often beyond our control. But the way they handled this kind of hiccup though was excellent, and that's what's important. We're planning on ordering our programs from them this week! read more

What begins well- by email, ends up really bad per phone and in person. They sent work before showing the proof and after finding mistake in proof they still printed incorrectly. They are really rude on the phone and raised a few times on a number of people from our office so we will never return. Really not worth it, found places 2-3 dollars more per poster with amazing service... they are rude and lie, do not go if you want to have no stress. read more

Swift copying lives up to their name. I contacted 15 places in this area and online venders looking for the best deal. Swift copy was almost half the cost and by far the fastest turn around of any. Although the folks at Swift were very nice and they did beat all the competitor's prices, they over promised and under delivered. We had a small job that needed to be turned around in 24-hours. Unfortunately, that 24-hours turned into 96-hours filled with alot of exercise for me running between our office & Swift. By the end of the job, they still did not produce the quality that I expected and no discount was offered. I was so hopeful and delighted when I first walked into the shop & signed the proof. That all faded as I realized they are better at one-offs than SM, Med, Large jobs. read more

ALL THE WAY THROUGH THEY promised one thing they delivered another. Then charged me 87.00 dollars for 100 flimsy paper business cards that are peeling!!!! They have huge errors. When I dealt with the owner to rectify he was irate screaming at me.. would not discuss and hung up on me...DONT WALK... RUN PAST this company. BAD BAD SERICE AND EVEN WORSE PRODUCT!! I am extremely happy with swift copy printing. I asked them to make many copies of a Biography I wrote for my grand father. It was a surprise and I needed it within 2 days. He printed all the copies within one day. This was the only store willing to print by book within a couple of days.The pictures were clear and book was exactly how I wanted it. I needed a rush business cards for a meeting, and in 5 hours, it was ready with very good quality and service.

I ordered a poster from these guys with exact dimensions of the height and width. They switched the dimensions around and I got a poster that was the wrong size, despite my detailed instructions. I understand that mistakes happen. When I asked them to kindly correct their mistake (by phone and email) and re-do the poster to the correct dimensions that I originally gave them, they ignored me. They never corrected the problem or responded to my inquiries. Not very professional. I would only recommend using these guys in a bind. Their customer service is poor. read more

Torn between a 1 and a 2 star review. My first and simple postcard project was fine. However when I needed to get a pamphlet printed things got messy. At every step of the way I had to contact them to see if a) they received my files b) they had started on the project c) was the project ready to be picked up? I specifically called to make sure the files I submitted were in the correct format, they said yes. The next day I called to check on progress, they looked at my files and said I had to make some changes. It was just a hassle and I felt like they didn't care at all about my project (for a local animal rescue non-profit). Then after approving a correct proof, they ended up printing the same page twice in the final printing. I didn't realize until after pick-up. I know now to be more careful. An email to them about this elicited no response. Maybe I could have gone back but I just wanted to "move on." I won't be using them again - for sure. read more
