First thing in the morning, I received a reasonable quote and time of when they could come. I agreed and we also agreed on means of payment. HORRENDOUS EXPERIENCE!!! They made a big mistake, would not own it, would not correct it, jacked up their initial quote, did not get job done, and left us to deal with their indifference and incompetence. They put us and then left us in a really bad situation. Read on.... Per their instruction on their website, I sent 2 photos of a sofa and a couch for an estimate. They texted the estimate for removing and hauling the 2 pieces ($150). I told them up front that the sofa will fit in the elevator, but the couch does not and that the couch has to be taken via stairs from 3rd floor. I told them we have new furniture coming in on the same day and that these items must be removed as there is no room. Aside from very shoddy communication via phone and text, today they sent ONE person who not only was late but was also told that there is only a small 2 seater sofa! So he didn't bring help with him and he didn't bring his trailer. The company gave him the WRONG information. I contacted the company and Sheila and we texted back and forth. Basically she said that the mover can't do it by himself, that the boss says they can do it but the next day for $220. She basically told us to go pound sand. I paid the mover (nice guy) to at least take the sofa downstairs and put it on the street (which I really did not want to do). Now we have new furniture arriving and no place to put it, unless somehow we find a way to get the couch removed. We're scrambling and stressed. The people at this company left us high and dry. Abandoned us. And would not do anything to correct THEIR mistake, except to jack up their quote and say that they'll do it tomorrow. I don't take joy in leaving bad reviews for any company, but the way they treated us today was absolutely horrible. If you need a reliable company to get it done, do NOT use them. We made an appointment for the next day and they showed up on-time with a giant truck and carried away everything very efficiently, and were respectful of my property. They did a particularly great job handling a 250 lbs. bookcase that was very difficult to move. I had them clear out my side yard that was full of trash from years of home construction. I was told 2 workers would come, but only 1 came. However, the entire time he was working and quickly got it cleared out. Not only did he get everything out of the space, he also cleared away weeds and tried his best to level out the area.
