I was urged off the wall a few times by Coach Chris and the woman over the program (I think) & finally let go. Coach Chris is a great coach! He encouraged me & was very patient as I hesitantly followed his direction. I actually did 2 laps w/ the noodle focusing on kicks and breathing! That's the most progress I've had in a swim class in a 30-minute lesson! I guess I should note, this was a private lesson and previously I've taken group lessons. Either way, I gained the most progress and satisfaction from this one class than I have in the 4 group classes I've taken twice. I can't wait to see my progress at the end of the classes. The showers and changing areas are clean and adequate. Everyone from the front desk staff to the other personnel were friendly.

Tuesday June 2nd, 2021…read more So the pool has been open since Saturday and we definitely had to come. It's limited in capacity at 40% or 92 people. We had a short wait of 5 minutes before enough people left the pool for us to get in. A wait list is taken when the pool exceeds capacity and you just have to wait until people leave, which typically isn't very long, on a week day anyway. I have to say the water was very chilly. So we also didn't stay longer than 30 minutes. The kiddie pool was not open. It seemed like there was no deep section and you could walk from one end of this Olympic size pool to the other. Don't bother calling ahead. I doubt they'll take a reservation over the phone. When I was there, the teenage staff were not answering. I also saw that folks had left the water running in the showers. Not very considerate given water is a scarce commodity. I'd suggest also reeling in the excess swim lanes which were just sitting on the ground gathering leaves. The price: Free! So you can't beat it. We will be back next week when I hope it's a little warmer.

We've attended two classes for our child and thus far everything is going great. There are family changing rooms to get young kids changed and there are also stalls to use to change. The pool is kept at 90 degrees and the room itself is very warm too. The pool is surrounded by glass walls (like a fish bowl) and chairs so you can sit in a room that's not so hot and watch your kid. If you have a very young child prepare to go into the pool.

We usually do one session weekly and my son has advanced so much since he started. He absolutely loves the classes and loves to swim. The only downside is the parking. You have to get there pretty early to get good parking otherwise, the lot is full as there are several other businesses around. Definitely recommend it!

We we're all very well prepared for the knowledge checks. The pool portion of the training is really a great experience. We did the Friday, Saturday class. This worked best for our schedules. It makes for a long day, but Kim was patient and professional the entire day. If you have no knowledge or experience with diving, but have a desire to learn and an open mind, this is the place to go. You will leave class confident in your abilities.
