Was looking for a new spot to check out with outdoor seating and decided to check out Swine City. Just north of Jungle Jim's, this spot has a huge outdoor space. The unique hot dogs were pretty solid, and I'd defintely get The Popper again. The staff were inviting, seemed like a slower night, and were happy to talk us through the wide range of beers they have on tap. Nice to find a brewery making more than just IPAs. Didn't end up grabbing a bottle but the Ranch Ale seems like a risk worth taking just to say we did read more

Solid find and a hidden gem! Tucked away in an industrial plaza, Swine City stands alone as the only local watering hole in the area. Great layout with plenty of indoor and outdoor space for hosting a wide variety of events (I'm personally excited for the local professional wrestling circuit to come back). The exterior is a simple picnic table style atmosphere, the inside is a bit more colorful and graffiti filled. The staff were fun, offered great advice, and were quick on the pour. They lean heavy on making sours and fruity IPAs, all of which I tried were pretty crisp and refreshing. The food menu was mostly cookout style sides and crazy types of loaded hotdogs, but it works for them! I tried the Underdog and a side of Queen City nachos, both of which were delicious and both of which my stomach screamed at me for later. The food is all we came for and it didn't disappoint. We got the wakey wakey (this was all warm and savory like a breakfast meat should be), underdog (nice crunchy pickles and peppers gives it a little kick), drinks and a blue slushie. Quality dogs. Loved this place. Some very nice experimentals. Stayed to eat too. We had two pints of New Stuff, NEIPA. Delicious. From the food menu we had: two different kind of wraps, which were split in half so we could each share the other half. Met a patron who designed growlers and pint cups in stainless steal for breweries and noticed the stainless steal cup is the same size as a glass pint glass, but because of the thinner wall it can hold 20 oz!! Four more than a regular pint glass. That's pretty neat. Not enough to entice me to order one tho. Outdoor area is big and dog / kid friendly. Inside opens to the brewing operations. read more

While we have had Swine City Brewing beer, we just visited their location for the first time! To our surprise we stubbled upon their brewery after leaving Jungle Jim's. Knowing we have enjoyed their beer in the past we had to make a stop. It was a Sunday afternoon, so it was pretty quiet inside with just a handful of people, however we're told they had a huge party the night before - some were likely recovering ;) The bartender was super nice and welcomed us in, telling us about all the new beers on tap. I was surprised but happy to hear they had their "I Put a Spell on You" pumpkin beer - It's one of my top three favorite pumpkin beers and I have had them all! Another one we tried was the "Bustin Makes Me Feel Good" Ecco-Cooler Imperial Sour, which was also so good. Not too much bite for a sour, and I appreciated that. Another two shout out to their Shandys the FAFO: Mango Shandy and FAFO: Strawberry Shandy were two others to note for their deliciousness. All and all make sure to try Swine City beers if you see them and if nearby, stop in for a visit! read more

Not great, not terrible. Many breweries improve over time so I'll hope for the best. A little out of the way for us, nothing on our first visit that had us putting this high on the list to return. The space has good potential- nice open space with high ceilings and a good amount of outside space to enjoy. There was someone making BBQ, though we didn't try any. I really loved the Good Enough for Me oatmeal raisin cookie amber. This is a very relaxed place. Love the atmosphere. Definitely recommend.

I've not drank in here for awhile but the pizza and atmosphere is great. My mom absolutely loves there beer and raves about it. The last time I had it, it was very good. Good selection and priced fair. The pizza I had was really great. The chief also seems really friendly as he came out and offered people samples of his new creation. The atmosphere as I mentioned is really chill. There are board games inside for you and your friends or strangers to play. Outside they have a large area to sit or play. Bartender was super friendly and very willing to help you try their beer! Just not a unique impact. Probably won't return. Stopped in on a Friday around 5. The entire bar area was covered with dirty beer glasses and dishes. No welcome. Not that I need that, but stood there a few minutes bf being acknowledged. Biggest disappointment was the beer. Czech Pilsner was way off. Mexican Lager tasted ashy. No Bueno. When we returned the almost full beers we were charged. Yeah, will not be back. read more

Hello Swine City! More specifically, hello What is That Noise. What is That Noise is a peach bellini, Berliner Weisse. This beer starts sweet, and ends a bit tart. It is fortified with additional fruit, after the brewing process. This created a thicker beer. The sugars in the fruit will actually start refermenting if not stored properly. Due to this possible refermentation, growler fills are not permitted. This is too bad, because this would be the perfect beer to enjoy pool or beachside. It feels more like a tropical drink than a beer. Now that I have stopped drooling over What is That Noise, oh who are we kidding, I am still drooling, let's move on to the other beers. Good Enough For Me was another one of our favorites. It had a very strong aftertaste of oatmeal raisin cookie. Not a flavor I think of when I think of summer, but it was enjoyable. It left a cinnamon taste on the palate. My husband also enjoyed the We Roll Thick cider. I thought it was just okay. Between the barbed wire fence around the property, and the backyard feel, Swine City is very low-key. There are several board games available to play. Out in the yard, there is corn hole, giant Yahtzee, a wagon for kids, and a hole (I think that is what it is called,) for frisbee golf. read more

Stopped by Swine City Brewing on a rainy Saturday, a few friends heard about the brewery and wanted to try it out, I was game as I love checking out breweries in greater Cincinnati there are so many, its hard to keep up with them. We arrived just as it started pouring down you could hear the rain hitting the roof in the brewery -they have quite a few beers on tap all made right there in the brewery space. Zack who was working was very friendly, he told us it was only his second day on the job and still learning, but felt bad as he was there by himself and more and more people starting showing up. We all enjoyed a flight of 5 beers $11 each. I read from previous reviews their Berliner Weiss's are good, but they didn't have any on tap at this time. I enjoyed Gose, they had a Belgian Triple but have had better. Note Swine City is in Fairfield, but in the middle of an Industrial area, thank God for GPS as you make several turns off Route 4, on my way back noticed its not too far from Jungle Jims. read more

There's a wide range of taprooms in Cincinnati. Each has their own personality. Swine City has the kind of taproom that made me originally fall in love with grabbing a pint at a brewery. You are literally sitting in the brewery with the tanks just feet away from you. While it is really just a simple warehouse type space, it feels welcoming and comforting. The space has lots of large tables for groups and a decent size bar as well. The night I was there, they had a wide range of beers on tap. From a few dark beers to a handful of hop forward beers to a small group of sours. By having a flight, I tried many of them and enjoyed almost all of them. If you are North of Cincinnati and looking for a place to relax with friends and enjoy a few beers, this is the spot for you. read more

Warehouse atmosphere, food trucks on weekends, and a staff knowledgeable in all things being brewed. The facility is both family and kid friendly with board games you can borrow and play at the picnic tables. Another nice touch is the large patio and lawn for cornhole, frisbee golf, and other outdoor games. As far a beer goes they have several standard favorites and are always experimenting with new brews. Beer taste is pretty subjective and I would be surprised if you didn't find a few you really liked. Definitely a place to stop by and enjoy a beer, conversation and more. read more

First time here. I'm pretty familiar with the area but would never have guessed this spot was here if my friends hadn't told me about it, since it is in an inconspicuous location. Comments: -awesome floor-to-ceiling roll-up door on the front of the building, however it faces the West and blinds the guests in the afternoon/evening -allows for group reservations -indoor/outdoor seating -10 or so drafts; tried the dry Irish stout and did not care for it -friendly staff. Clean restrooms -atmosphere is reflective of the Fairfield/Hamilton area -live music inside, food truck outside There's quite stiff competition for breweries out there, and the vibe at Swine City isn't really my style. Opening day! Everyone is very nice and helpful. The bartenders push samples because they want to make sure you enjoy what you are drinking. I started with the Gose. It's not my typical style but I enjoyed it. Very clean and crisp. They also have a saison, blonde, Berliner Weisse, hazy IPA, and a coffee stout. The bar is very cool. Reclaimed barn siding and a concrete top. They also have plenty of picnic tables. They were definitely ready for the grand opening. Lots of employees to help and a huge amount of merchandise. I love that you are sitting right there in the heart of the brewery with all the equipment. They have food trucks out back so I am going to get off of here and go check them out. So far I like this new addition to the Cincinnati craft beer scene. read more

Good! They have around 15 micro brews on tap. Heavy on the IPA beers. I'm more of a lager, Pilsner, wheat beer, porter guy. Their beers have a nice flavor. Many are infused with fruits. If you are into craft beers a must stop. read more

I first heard of a new-ish brewery in Fairfield by word of mouth. However, it wasn't talked up too highly. I then came across some social media post about various events that were planned at the brewery. I finally decided on visiting the day after Thanksgiving for the Black Out Stout Day. Like some of the other breweries in the area, they crafted a stout heavy tap selection. I ordered a flight of five stout selections, most being good. I visited again and enjoyed a pint of the "Good Enough for Me" Amber which taste like an oatmeal raisin cookie in a glass. The taps here are very creative; you can tell the brewers enjoy the craft. Some would consider this place a startup brewery. I would not agree; this is an established microbrewery coming up on its first birthday. There are about 15 beers on tap, and they are not IPA heavy. But of course, this could change seasonally. I would recommend, ignoring any pictures posting prior to January 2018 as they do not reflect the brewery as the operate today. Also, I kind of think the brewery isn't located in an optimal area for the type of events they are hosting. For example, Uno & Spoons tournament reminds me of college years. Maybe this would college age clients? Plenty of space around the bar and other tables. More comfortable that some of the other places that have been around for four years or more. read more

Tonight was the grand opening of Pizza Cicerone at Swine City . The wood fired pizzas were excellent and the beer. We have been there about 10 times so far and we have had some good food and beer. But today was a disaster. They were out of beer cheese for the pretzels which was a minor inconvenience, but we weren't hungry enough for a whole pizza. The big problem was with the music. They were playing some head banging crap so loud that you couldn't hear yourself think let alone hold a conversation . The bartender thought it was funny when I mentioned how bad the music was. My wife couldn't even finish her beer. All she wanted was to get out of there. You are supposed to be able to talk to your friends and enjoy yourself. Wasn't happening today read more

Swine City is a wonderful, cozy addition to the brewery scene. You feel at home quickly when you step in. It reminds me of the old Madtree a bit in that it's simple, small, and friendly. The hazy IPA is highly recommended for IPA fans. It's gently piney without being over the top. The powerful, 8.5% double IPA is malty more than hoppy. It's balanced and ideal for those who enjoy mildly hoppy beers. read more

The bartender who was also the taproom manager was extremely friendly, amazingly accommodating, and able to offer tons of suggestions. I had a flight and my husband who is not a beer drinker, was even offered a sample of Good Enough for Me and LOVED it. This is huge because he doesn't ever drink beer. I loved everything in my flight. After he left the next bartender, a very nice lady continued to help us. I tired the Swine Wine as well. Everything about Swine City is amazing. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and the facility itself is extremely clean. Everyone is very friendly even the other patrons, and the brewery is also family friendly, which is a huge perk.
