Love having Tela in the neighborhood! They are reliably delicious and a friendly spot to meet neighbors and friends. We stopped by recently for some takeout and were helped quickly at the bar. Our food came out in less than 10 minutes and the bartender was helpful and friendly while we waited. The patio was packed with people enjoying the nice weather! The parking lot in back is also a perk. We split the smash bros chickpea wrap, which was above average for a wrap but didn't make a huge impression. The menu said roasted tomatoes but the tomatoes to me seemed like just sliced Roma tomatoes. It held up and was great to go! I will note it does not come with a side and thus feels pretty expensive for the amount of food it is. The real hit was the pretzel nuggets. These have been on the menu for a while and stand the test of time. The garlic caramel is standout and the beer cheese is also delicious. We both commented we wanted to eat the extra sauce on its own at the end because it was so delicious. Tela is great to dine in or to go. With pickleball and great walking routes nearby, it's a great option to make a night of it in Wyoming! Highly recommend. read more

I absolutely love Tela Bar + Kitchen! I've been a half dozen times now and have always had a wonderful experience. The staff are friendly and the owner is always working hard wiping tables and greeting guests. I love that the menu rotates seasonally, so there is always something new to try! Most recently, I got the Super Smash Bros wrap (chickpea salad). It's so good and healthy. I paired it with an order of the fresh cut fries. SO good. If you get fries, make sure to order the stone ground mustard aioli too. Perfect pair. Street parking is always super easy! Love eating on the covered patio. read more

I recently went to Tela for a second time. The first time I went, I had a very negative customer service experience. This time, though the serving staff was still not very attentive, they were much nicer. I also just don't love the decor inside, if the weather is nice, I would recommend eating outside. I do feel that the restaurant is very sensory friendly. These days a lot of restaurants are overstimulating, but this restaurant is very quiet. Food wise, this time I had the cemita and it was tasty! I'm not a fan of their burgers, but I think they did the chicken sandwich a lot better. I also had the Gypsy Boots cocktail, it was a 7.5/10. Their mussels are to die for. They are undoubtedly the best thing to have on the menu. Honestly, they're the only reason I would go back. I can't believe it took me this long to make it to this place! It was amazing and the patio was a very nice. The service was great and it wasn't too crowded on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. I stopped in here for some lunch and I loved how cute and lowkey the place was. I ordered a drink called the Huntress Wizard. All I know is it had tequila in it and it was pretty good. They serve their own type of cocktails so you wouldn't find your traditional cocktails in the restaurant. The menu was small but had several options, I went with the short rib macaroni and cheese. I'm going to rate this place 5 star because the food is great, the service is excellent and the atmosphere feels like a local place you want to hang out in. I do however have one area for improvement. Thank you for bringing back the cheesesteak, it is as good as I have ever tasted but the only problem is that you decided to serve it on the wrong roll. Love, love, love! I tried the restaurant for the first time in January and I have not stopped recommending it to people. Parking was right on the street in front of the restaurant. It is an intimate small restaurant and the interior does it justice with the wood and dark walls along with artwork. Arlena, our waitress, greeted us and took our drink order. I ordered the Nightosphere cocktail that was a blackberry infused tequila with a house-made cranberry and basil liqueur, sour mix and grenadine with a salted rim. The cocktail was crisp and delicious. Arlena was fabulous as she asked if we had been in before and when we said no she explained the entire menu that she knew by heart! I ordered the River's Rising grilled salmon fillet with arugula, roasted tomato, shaved red onion, lemon caper aioli, all on Sixteen Bricks salted rye bread. This is served with fries so I asked if I could sub a salad for the fries and she said absolutely and explained there is a $4 up charge for that. So I added the Jardin salad to my order and it is lettuce, grape tomato, cucumber, red onion, capers, crumbled feta, and a red wine vinaigrette. That salmon sandwich may have been the best salmon I have ever had as it was cooked perfectly (not overcooked and dry). The Sixteen Bricks rye bread was the perfect way to serve this sandwich. The salad was also wonderful with a perfect amount of dressing. I will definitely return here again and hopefully my experience is as good as this one was but if it is even halfway there I will be one happy diner. We enjoyed a nice lunch at Tea. There's plenty of parking in the back. The vibe is chill and relaxing. We enjoyed the art on the wall. Our server was very helpful in guiding us through the best of the menu. We started with Pretzel Mugs. The Beer Cheese was okay, but the Roasted Garlic Caramel was outstanding! I opted for the Shrimp and Grits, which was delicious, though I was caught a little of guard by the tomato and beer sauce. It was very good, but it looked unusual. I got over it pretty quickly. We were in the neighborhood yesterday for an open house. We walked outside to the sunshine and felt the sharp pain of jealousy towards whoever buys the house. In an effort to cheer ourselves up, we stopped by Tela for some grub. The vibe was cool. They had a tented into patio on the front. It was seemingly heated. We sat inside near the back. Didn't seem to need a reservation for a Sunday early afternoon. They were still serving the brunch menu. The food coming out of the kitchen all looked really good. We settled on the BLT and the poutine. The wait was a little long considering the restaurant wasn't too busy. But the wait was worth it. The BLT came on a very light and airy focaccia bread . The tomato wasn't that great, but hey it's February, what do you expect? The bacon was a touch sweet, which I surprisingly enjoyed. Poutine was extremely good. Came with a perfectly fried egg on top. The cheese was nice and gooey. Fries cooked perfectly. Love a salty and peppery French fry. Will come back sometime for dinner. read more

Parking lot is in the rear and the location is within walking distance to downtown Wyoming for a nice stroll after. Quinoa, legumes, broccoli, roasted red peppers, avocado, crispy chickpeas, and a chimichurri sauce. Like 'cmon! I was there on a beautiful day and enjoyed my yummy salad on the cozy patio with a coworker. The vibes were perfect for a weekday afternoon lunch. We dined on a Tuesday night with another couple from West Chester. It was everyone's first time. It was a beautiful night, so we were able to sit outside. Our server was Hunter, and he did a nice job. I had two of the Mexican Cousin margaritas and they were wonderful. My wife had the Old Fashioned and loved it. We started with the Drunken Mussels. The mussels were cooked perfectly, but the broth was very thin and didn't have a lot of flavor compared to other mussel dishes in the city. I wouldn't order them again. We then ordered the River's Rising salmon sandwich with a side wedge salad, and Sweethaven salad with feta instead of goat cheese. Wow! The salmon was cooked perfectly and the wedge salad was very good. The Sweethaven salad came with goat cheese, so I had to send it back for one with feta. I'm not sure if the first salad had as many ingredients as the second one, but that one had tons of cheese, walnuts, and cranberries. I would order this over and over. Our companions had the Jardin salad with shrimp and the Cemita fried chicken sandwich. They were disappointed that 3 shrimp were an extra $6, and I noticed that the chicken sandwich was pretty small (however our friend didn't complain at all). The decor at Tela is really cute with an industrial look. My friend was telling me that it has the garage door that comes open so the the seating inside meshes with the sitting outside. It wasn't open because the horny, little cicadas who emerge from ther earth every 17 years to bone each other then die were active. :-/ Anyhoo, I love the art from local artists on the wall and the bathroom was super clean and modern with polished concrete floors and touchless soap and towel dispensers. I like the entrance to the women's bathroom. It has a picture of a woman in a cape. I mean surviving being a woman is a super power in my opinion. Don't ya think? ;-) There is a full bar with a TV. The kitchen is open so you can see the Chef cooking. Cool! On to the food! I ordered the Grilled Cheese with this gooey sharp cheddar, mozzarella, and herbed goat cheese. It's on toasted sourdough and is served with tomato bisque soup. It was sooooo good! The bisque was nice and thick with a good flavor. I kept dipping my sandwich in it. Awesome! My friend ordered the Jardin Salad. This salad has an Artisan lettuce blend, heirloom grape tomatoes, cucumber, shaved onions, Capers which are yummy, sweet pepper, crumbled feta and a red wine vinaigrette. She added shrimp. The salad was a good size and very fresh. Michael ? was an awesome server. Side note: There are two Michaels that work there so he thought it would be funny to put a ? after his name. Anyhoo.
