We made a reservation at the site's recommendation and we're seated outside because another pup was already around. This gave more room for our pup to be himself with us. We ordered the seltzer they have there and I think it's on tap and we're provided water for both us and our dog. They let us know he could eat the steak raw but we did cook it on the grill plate only because he has 700 allergies and we didn't want the hassle. He gobbled up his tray without issue. We both ordered chicken and I ordered the sambal one I think. The only issue I had was that mine was a lot more heat than flavor. Maybe a bit more fish sauce would have provided the salty goodness I was looking for. My spouse liked his as he didn't go for heat lol. I loved the cauliflower bites because they were tangy and crispy. Our server was super great to talk to and loved our dog. I appreciated how often they checked on us. We will definitely be back.

I got the food as gold boneless wings. My friends are all satisfied with their options as well. PLEASE support this restaurant and all that it represents! It means so much to me!

We show at 6:10 and they wanted 10 more minutes. *Spoiler alert* it wasn't done 10 mins later. It was 6:35 when we finally got our takeout order- a full hour after we placed it. The person there said that they've been having issues with the ordering system for a while- and what, they just never bothered to fix it? The whole pickup experience was just too annoying for me to come back here. The chicken sandwiches themselves were quite good. Massive, as others have noted. Although I think they mixed up our order too because my bf got the classic and the chicken was SPICY. It didn't have the spicy sauce but the breading was quite spicy. I'm not sure if that's just their default setting...but it was quite juicy. The mac and cheese was not good that's a hard pass.

They fry their chicken to order so there is about a 15 min wait but it's so worth it. I ordered a 5 piece bone in, the hot sandwich, fries, Mac & cheese, and a side aioli for $50 + tax&tip. The quality and value of the food is great and they put thought into their packaging, so I'm fine with the price point. Staff are also very friendly and the music is right; the vibe is very welcoming. I think it's a great addition to Leslieville and will definitely come here again!

The patio looked inviting so popped in a few Sundays back in the evening. Have to mention that it was not busy at all, maybe 7-10 other people on the patio and a few inside. It took over 45 minutes to get a drink, then another 45 minutes to even order food. We had to flag the bartender down as our "server" was in deep conversation with a few regulars ( assumption on my part), but she seemed genuinely disinterested in serving anyone on the patio and seemed to be quite familiar with the folks she was chatting with. Finally order our food, and I paid 24$ for a chicken quesidilla that was just awful. It was almost just a tortilla, zero toppings, one of which was raw cucumber, which was wild. I used to love Betty's when it was on King, but sadly this was quite a disappointment. Very over priced, awful service and horrible food. The patio was beautiful tho, and maybe just caught them on an off night, but still...

While I was super disappointed at first and almost walked out, I figured since I was already there, I'd finally give their chicken a shot. I ordered the #1 combo: two tenders, fries, sliced bread, Dave's sauce, pickles, and a drink. At roughly $25 to $27, the price felt pretty steep for a takeout tender combo. I know Drake is backed as an investor here, so maybe that plays into the pricing, but it definitely felt expensive. That said, the portions are solid. The tenders were large, super juicy, and well cooked. The Medium heat level was spot on for what I wanted and it gave a nice light kick without being overly spicy. Honestly, the fries were my absolute favorite part of the meal! They were crispy, super tasty, and perfectly seasoned. The Dave's sauce was good, though a pretty familiar flavor profile if you've had similar chicken joints. The pickles added a nice crunch. My only critique on the side is the bread... getting plain white bread slices feels like a missed opportunity. If they toasted it into Texas toast, it would take the meal to another level. The fountain drink size included in the combo felt surprisingly small, especially for a takeout order. The Leslieville location itself is fantastic. The exterior design really catches your eye from the street, and the inside is spacious with two levels. I especially loved the neighborhood-specific touches, like the custom "Leslieville" graffiti art on the wall... it gives the space a great local personality. Service was friendly. Is it a bit too pricey to become a regular spot? Yeah, probably. But the quality and juiciness of the chicken are definitely there. I'll be back down the road but only to finally get my hands on those cheese sticks (and maybe a milkshake next time!).
