I wish I could give this zero stars. The tiny pieces meat and cheese and they absolutely stunk when I peeled them out of their plastic wrap; it all went straight into the garbage. Everything I got was ultra processed and high fructose corn syrup is one of the top ingredients in everything. I wouldn't feed it to their food to a dog. The candy was stale, hard, and stuck to the wrappers. If you're just going to phone it in when it comes to sending someone a gift, have the decency to send flowers or donate to a charity in their name instead. This company makes false claims, including by letting you select the date range when your items will arrive. That date is then ignored, and the items are sent out over 10 days before the selected time, meaning they will be stale and unusable for the event needed. Do not waste your money! I ordered a turkey & ham for Thanksgiving plus 2 desserts, but I was never told when they would arrive, and calling Customer Service did not give me a delivery date either! FedX delivered everything separately on different days, & charged me separate shipping costs on each item. Fed X failed to ring my doorbell or knock, so I did not know the order was there, until I found it by accident before it defrosted. The turkey did not have any cooking directions at all, & was not that good. The ham did have cooking directions, but was very sweet & fatty. Swiss Colony may have been good in the past, but have gone severely downhill since that time, & so has the quality of their products! Orders -shipped by fedex- often never arrive or they go to someone else's address and attempts to have Swiss Colony fix the problems go unanswered and so you have to dispute the charges with your credit card. And they do not make up for your bad experiences in any way like with a courtesy shipment, coupon, or discount. Cookie Crooks Based on their reviews, they are known for shipping the wrong items and will resort to sending something similar during the chaotic holiday season. That is clearly what happened to us last year, but since it was gifted to us we didn't know any better. What I wrote to customer service in my final email: This is my last attempt... My Aunt sent me and my family the most amazing cookies from Swiss Colony last Christmas. It was like taking a trip back to my childhood at Christmas time. I really had my heart set and spent my own hard-earned money on them to fulfill that memory for myself this holiday season. I spoke to my Aunt well in advance, asking which cookies she had ordered. She actually had the receipt from last Christmas still on-hand and read it off to me. I placed the IDENTICAL order, only to discover that while the title for this variety of cookies was the same -the cookies had in fact changed. You did however, have the correct assortment of cookies under a different product name (Spring Cookies). I called less than 12 hours from the time of my initial order and BEFORE anything had even shipped. Customer service basically told me that there was nothing that they could do for me and suggested that I create a whole new order. Obviously, I was in no position to be spending $80 on Christmas cookies! By this point I was less than pleased and left a review on the site later this afternoon. The item STILL HAD NOT SHIPPED. Customer service responded: Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience we have caused you. Your business is important to us, and your complete satisfaction is guaranteed! As your order has shipped, no further changes can be made; however, we do want to correct this situation for you. Please let us know your choice - a replacement of an item like the Holiday Cookies or an adjustment. My final response was to then ask for that price adjustment that I was being offered. What I got for a response was this: The shipment confirmation for the wrong cookies originally ordered yesterday. As shown *ATTACHED! You say 'Guaranteed'??? -How so??? What I got back was my original shipping confirmation for the wrong cookies and no price adjustment whatsoever. So pointless and time consuming. I got the distinct impression that I was somehow inconveniencing customer service. Rest assured; I will never order under the pressure of shipment costs potentially doubling tomorrow ever again. I must admit that I've never spent a dime personally with Swiss Colony but I have received numerous holiday gifts over the years gifted by others delivered by Swiss Colony. There's no good way to communicate the poor quality of the products to the gifter unless they ask. I always make sure I thank the person for the gift but I've yet to be asked how I liked the quality, the taste, the presentation and so on I guess they assume it's all good based on an assumption that everything Swiss Colony is above reproach. I understand the concept and I appreciate the thoughtfulness but I've yet to receive anything from this company that I love, and I hate that the person sending me the gift has to pay the cost of the product and shipping for something I'm going to only taste and throw out three weeks later - I would much prefer a ten dollar pie from Publix or a box of prepackaged branded candy like licorice or candy canes. It's rare that any of us can picked something like a food stuff that everyone will love and distance prevents us from using any other method in many cases. This is why the gift card is an excellent replacement, this antiquated way of gifting is no longer an option you need to exercise so please don't ship this mail order crap, it was intended for our grandparents, we as a society have evolved into a much more intelligent and efficient creature since those days, my God we have Amazon man... read more

My wife and I decided to send Swiss Colony for Christmas. I sent one to my friend and 1 to my sister. She ordered one for her sister. They charged us for transactions and gave a date for delivery. Well after that it went in the...... My friend got his on time and my sister got hers. A few days later she got another one. I never sent two. Only the one I paid for. Meanwhile my wife's order was still not shipped. Then we got a package from Swiss to our house. It was the one for her sister. After several emails my wife finally got the one shipped to her sister (after Christmas). I got a letter stating I had credit with Swiss and needed to pay them 144.00 dollars. When I messaged Swiss, they stated I ordered 2. Why would I send two and they charged me. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. There are better companies with better products. See pictures. read more

So....all of my life, I LOVED getting their holiday cookies - it was my little gift to myself each Christmas, but i refuse to pay $50 for ONE 1.8lb tin of cookies. I'm giving them 1 star because of their INSANE shipping costs. I had picked out my tin of cookies for $24....by the time I was checking out, it was almost $50 - there is NO WAY it costs $15 to ship a 2lb package. NONE. I was going to send gifts to 3 other families as well, and have them each delivered to their separate addresses until i saw it's ANOTHER $4 to ship to multiple addresses, for EACH address! I put in two orders as gifts and received confirmation they would be delivered by 12/24. The first order made it, no issue. I heard nothing from the second order. Since the expected time was close, I checked the order status and, to my shock, there was no status. I messaged the customer service to see what is going on and apparently they were unable to fill the order. I was relying on this order to come through and Swiss Colony sent NO correspondence advising of their inability to fulfill my order. As such, I was unaware I needed to make other arrangements, which I cannot do now. Point being, if you expect Swiss Colony to fulfill your order and communicate with you then you're likely to be out of luck. Go with one of their many competitors who have earned their high ratings. Absolute shit company! They got my order wrong 3 times by sending the wrong toy. I thought it was my fault the first time and ordered it again... They sent it wrong the 2nd time again. I then call them and explained what happened. They said they would correct the mistake and send 2 more toys and that I could keep the 2 mistakes they had sent and give them to my kids or donate them. Then AGAIN they sent 2 of the wrong toys as replacements. I get an email from the company saying they are out of the ones I wanted and I am stuck with the ones they sent. I couldn't believe the audacity of the email so I call. First two hangs up on me. 2nd rep transfers me mid sentence to a "supervisor" who explains that they are indeed out of the toy I ordered but if I wanted a refund I would have to send back all 4 toys... -which included the first 2 mistakes which they said I could give to my kids. I had kept the 2 nearest ones in their packages to send back but I had not expected to be told i have to send back the 2 original mistakes which they had told me to keep. Now they want me to take those 2 away from my kids and pay to send them back to get a refund or elae they will charge me for all 4! 4 fucking toys I never ordered to begin with. This was the WORST customer service ever. They cancelled my order and never called. I only found out bc I went to check on the status the day before. So my order was canceled bc my y card was declined bc it was stolen and we had to cancel it. But my card was cancelled a week after the order was placed but there wasn't any info saying they don't charge until they ship so I had no idea I had to check when they charged me bc they don't indicate it anywhere. When I spoke to 1st person she said she couldn't do anything so I asked to talk to a supervisor. She had me on hold for over an hour. Then the next person I talked to I asked if she was a supervisor. And she said yes. And then proceeded to say she couldn't help me in that. Someone called me yesterday at 11:00 a.m. to talk to me about my cancellation. I looked at my phone and I had two phone calls. None of which were there's. So then she transferred me to another supervisor. The next supervisor said she was a supervisor after I asked her the same question. And then I proceeded to tell her all the details. And then she again told me that they called me yesterday and I told her I have proof that I could send them. That shows that I did not have a phone call the day before. And she said we called you and she verified it. And I told her that the last person I talked to was a supervisor and she said no they weren't. I said why I asked them they said they were supervisor so they must have been lying. She said I checked and they aren't supervisor. And then she said she checked the phone call and the person never said they were a supervisor and i said well. The second person did say they were supervisor. And she basically continued to tell me that I was lying about all those things and then she talked over me and then told me I was talking over her. Then she told me that I should have called them about my credit card once it was declined. But I had thought they had already charged me since it was almost a week ago that I had made the purchase. So it shouldn't have been an issue. I even paid for expediting the purchase so it should have already have been shipped before today in order to get to me tomorrow. So all in all their bunch of liars who blame their customers and absolutely take no responsibility for their mistakes and do absolutely zero to rectify it when they do make a mistake. Worst customer service ever. I'm not sure I will ever use them again unless they come back to rectify it. I have reached out to their Facebook page to message them there. If anyone else has suggestions of who I can contact higher up to complain about this terrible service because they need to know that their customer service plays games and are completely incompetent. I'd give 0 stars if that was an option. One of the items I ordered was shipping from Los Angeles, or at least that's what the tracking information they updated on my order said. It had a smartpost tracking number attached to it. However, when I go to track the package, FedEx says that tracking number doesn't exist.
