Upon doing this in Brum' I was told that they no longer repair Microsoft phones and that they had made it clear to staff at the Solihull branch not to send customers with faulty Microsoft phones into them. Half a day + petrol + parking wasted traipsing into Birmingham. Before visiting Birmingham I had bought a replacement phone from Solihull. Upon printing my receipt at home (they refused to give me a receipt for my purchase in store) I found that I should have had a £10 Vodafone sim with it, not that I was given this upon purchasing the phone. I have tried phoning them 3 times but after waiting 6-7 minutes on each occasion the call has either been cut off or I have terminated. Like most people I cannot afford the time to go back and sort this out for the sake of £10. Have your wits about you when you shop there!

There are phones that are available to purchase from here but I don't know if its just me, I would rather buy a phone from a phone network shop. I would feel a lot more comfortable buying a phone from say for instance an Orange, T-Mobile shop etc. This is also a shop where you can purchase phone covers and batteries from. So literally this is a phone accessories shop as well. If you do need your phone repairing then you do need to remember to take your sim card out. I will probably not come here if for instance my phone needed repairing. However if I wanted to purchase a battery charger or a phone cover, maybe I would come here. Staff are helpful as I gathered from coming here.

The staff members are cheerful and helpful, and if you are looking lost then they are always happy to offer a hand and assist you (some other shops could send their staff here for training!). If, as I have on a couple of occasions, you are looking for something they have sold out of (lets be honest, it happens to the best of stores), they offer to order one in for you, and even found out if a nearby 'Game' had the item in stock that they can reserve for you. The shop is small and crowded, which is probably the only negative that I can level against it. If they could rent a larger property then it would be perfect.

Staff in there seem to be knowledgeable about a) the phones, b) the network, and c) Orange itself. C is probably the most important as it allows them to know how to sort out any problems that you may have with registering the phone, and what they need to do should they get kicked off the call to register a handset. As with most phone stores a big problem is when you are trying to buy something and you've got a few people in front of you who are asking for advice or trying to do something particularly complicated. Its always worth having a look in there if you are after a specific handset as they often do exclusive deals on some handsets.

The staff were really friendly and gave me multiple suggestions with a detailed description of the pros and cons of each, and even let me try some of the laptops they had in the shop. Stephen was very knowledgeable and helped me through the process of choosing my laptop and now that I have my dream laptop I couldn't be happier. The phone shop in earlsdon is on earlsdon high street. Its not very big but has loads of O2 stuff…read morein the windows. The front window also only has about 4 handsets in it. It does not particularly appealing either. So on going in you realise that it is still as unappealing as it looked outside. Also you will notice how small the shop is, considering its a mobile phone shop it really doesnt cut it. There is no choice of handset at all. The staff are helpful but its not somewhere i would part with my cash. They jsut dont seem intrested or helpful enough to make me want to spend. I dont know much about their pricing as i havent stayed in long enough to find out, but from some of them occasional shown in the window you would be better off going to somewhere in town or off the internet!
