No date provided, and said they could give us a date for next week if they couldn't fit us in that week. Fine. They randomly showed up at the house a few days later, no phone call, no contact of ANY kind. Just rang the doorbell and expected us to be at home in the middle of the week in the middle of the day. I work from home, and was on a conference call, had to leave the call, let the guy in. Said it would only be a few minutes. After less than 15 minutes he tells me, "you have a bad batch of bulbs" and is on his way. Get the bill today for their unannounced, uncommunicative visit for $120. ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY DOLLARS FOR LESS THAN 15 MINUTES. If you are going to charge someone $120 as a minimum charge to LOOK AT SOMETHING, at least tell them that up front.
