Painting of my basement caused my Water Heater to shut off due to a flammable vapor sensor - I just got done texting back and forth with Tim regarding the issue and he got me back up and running! We recently hired Rausch Plumbing and Remodeling to address a mystery stench and an apparent leak in our basement. We called first thing in the morning, and Danny arrived in less than an hour. After a thorough inspection, he phoned Tim, the owner, to share his findings. Tim took the time to personally come over, confirm Danny's suspicions, and collaborate on a plan to resolve the issue. They even coordinated with Caden, another team member, to assist with a specific step of the repair. Our home is older, and we discovered that our kitchen piping had been slowly eroding in the basement crawl space for years before finally bursting. This caused sewage water from our sink and dishwasher to seep into our concrete cinder block basement wall. Within hours, the Rausch Plumbing team had completely re-piped the entire system and provided helpful recommendations for potential restoration work. These guys were outstanding! Hardworking, professional, and genuinely kindhearted. Their level of service and respect was unmatched. My husband and I even joked that Danny was so great, we could imagine inviting him and his family over for a backyard barbecue! They clearly explained the problem, laid out the best course of action, and provided a quote upfront--then came in under budget. On 6-17-25 we had Rausch Plumbing replace our 50 gal. HWH with a 75 gal HWH, make repairs on a major leak in another problem area on the basement level and replace out sump-pump battery. So far so good. I had a residential water heater replaced on January 9th. The job required moving the water heater, plumbing, gas line and power venting about one foot back in distance because of space constraints. The technician did this all while sticking to the original estimate. He made sure he included a military discount that I would get on top of that too. The old water heater was removed. All of the work looked professional and he cleaned up afterwards. Now, if I can get almost 27 years service out of this new Rheem water heater, like the last one, I will even be more over joyed. read more

I do not recommend using Tim Rausch Plumbing as these guys are like going to a used car dealership. Two days and donating 500$ for hours and minimum charges, adamant about being able to fix a hot water heater that apparently should have never been attempted. Changing their price as they go and then giving an unprofessional attitude when asked about it. As hiring licensed professionals I expect to be able to trust their opinion on their services. Our sump pump died on a rainy Saturday morning and our basement was collecting some water. I called Tim Rausch Plumbing at 5:30am and they were super responsive. The guy that came out was able to confirm our sump pump wasn't working and was able to replace it immediately. Had a pedestal sink we bought installed. Extremely expensive! Should have shopped around! Plumber was very professional but companies prices are gouging. If I had let them install their faucet ( the old one didn't fit new sink ) it would have been close to a 1,000 dollar job!! read more

My daughter's landlord refused to fix a leaking toilet and it was costing her hundreds of dollars on her water bills. So, I sent Tim Rausch plumbing in to fix the job. They went above and beyond to get this toilet fixed. The toilet is very old and has a shelf over the stop of it, so every time they had to work on it they had to remove it from the floor. After multiple trips and it wasn't fixed I did not want to spend any more money, so I gave up, but Tim Rausch plumbing did not, they sent a guy for the fourth time, for no extra charge and he fixed it. The alarm on our sump pump started to beep continuously and none of us know how to find the issue. I was actually at work when the kids called about the sump pump. I hurried back home to check. With storms looming and heavy rain, I was afraid of water flooding our basement. We have never worked on sump pump so we called Tim Rausch Plumbing. On short noticed they showed up on time. We found out that the sump pump died and no longer operating. Greg from Tim Rausch Plumbing was great on explaining things on what happened and he replaced the sump pump. He also gave us tips on how to maintain the sump pump to prevent future issues. Since we have Greg working on the sump pump, we also asked if he can fix our leaking shower head in the bathroom. Greg fixed both with no problem. Overall, Greg from Tim Rausch Plumbing did an excellent job. Had scheduled a toilet to be removed and install a new one. Plumber called advising he was ahead of schedule, so he was able to get to her appointment before schedule time. Took the time to clean everything before installing new toilet, and was very professional. After he left, found a small leak from one of the bolts on the water closet to the tank. Contacted Rauch office, and they sent a different plumber out within the hour to correct the issue. Again very professional and considerate. read more

I had a leaky shut off valve with a toilet so I needed to call a plumber to have it changed. That charge I expected. Since the plumber was already there, he replaced the float valve and flapper in the same toilet and charged me an additional $150. That is ridiculous. I will never use Tim Rausch again. read more
