So I've been coming here since they opened. I've purchased 3 vapes. The 3rd one only lasted 3 months before it started acting like it doesn't work. Changed the coil but it still wouldn't vape properly so i took it down there. The guy there said its a type of DL "Deep lung" vape. I said but it worked before. No help at all except to buy a new one. Ended up going to another place and bought a SMOK. This will be my 2nd one (my other was dropped and never turned back on) SMOK is a great brand. read more

I'm from San Jose and was in Modesto when suddenly I realized I ran out of Vape juice. In a panic I searched up the nearest shop and found this hidden gem.. It was my first time in a new shop as I never steer away from my local hub, but I was in a pinch and I needed juice for the long drive home. I walked into the shop and had to wait about 10-15 minutes before I was assisted. For the record there was only one gentleman working and there were about three customers in line. When it came time to take my order, he was very friendly and very knowledgeable with his menu. I asked a couple questions and he recommended the switchberry juice which he claimed was his most popular. I gave it a shot in 4 mg of nic and only paid about eight dollars for the small bottle and went on my merry way. I was very impressed with the flavor of the juice as well as the consistency of the mixture. As far as I know the juice is made on site as your order. That is something I haven't experienced before but i thought was very neat. I would recommend this Vape shop to anyone! Thanks for the juice recommendation. Decided to switch to vape. Came here because of the reviews. The gentleman was very kind and informative. Purchased a vape pen and a vial of homemade juice. The juice made my tongue feel weird. And it didn't evaporate, didn't have to refill the pod more than once in that month. He said the tongue tingle was due to the higher nicotine content. Came back to get a coil and buy more juice, reassured that going from 8mg to 4mg would resolve the tingling tongue thing. In fact, bought 2 vials this time. Nope, same thing. Bummer spent money on 3 vials that I couldn't use. They are more expensive than the Red Apple brand I discovered at Smokin Jays. I was surprised that there were raving reviews on his juice. I spoke to someone at Smokin Jays about it and they said yeah he makes good juice but sounds like he may have changed his recipe or had portions off. But after throwing out 3 vials, I am not gonna risk trying it again. read more

Have been to a few Vapor stores and will not go anywhere else. Mentioned that I like a flavor they didn't carry, so they got the recipe and now carry the flavor. They have first hand knowledge about many of the products as they have tried them and stand behind what they carry. The fluids that they make don't burn the wicks in my tanks and taste burnt like the fluids I purchased at other stores in Hayward. This store has much lower prices on fluids than the stores I have been to as well as the stores I have bought stuff from online. I paid $15 dollars for a 30 mil of fluid, so I have to say James C. is only trying to promote another shop by slinging mud at a good store. Thanks for making sure I NEVER go to that store... Glad to finally see a vapor store here in Modesto. These kinds of shops are few and far between it seems. Tyler (owner) is extremely knowledgeable about the subject and even makes his own e-liquids here at the store. Plus, he has a good amount of flavors you can sample before buying (which is also pretty rare). Went into try out the vape shop with my husband this past weekend, SO GLAD that we did! Walked in thru the back entrance and was immediately greeted by one of the employee 'a that was at the "tasting bar". Very chill, and comfortable environment. I've been vaping for about a month now and it really is a lifestyle change! The guys were super friendly and very knowledgeable! Might seem kinda sketch to walk they the back area, but it's a plush and chill atmosphere. TV, couches and a nice juicing tasting bar set up. I would say to give them a chance and it's cool that they do their mixing in house and lots of original and yummy flavors. I quit smoking cigarettes and started vaping eight months ago and I haven't had a cigarette since. I credit S2V in part for my success. I bought my first mod and juice at some random smoke shop and I couldn't figure out how it worked (so many settings), the juice was gross, the nicotine mg was too high and giving me a headache. I almost gave up on vaping before I went to S2V. They got my settings dialed in and explained to me how everything works, how to change the coil, what vp/gp setting to use etc. and they helped me find some flavors I love. I walked into this shop one day totally by fate...a nearby shop wasn't open yet. I had already been to a couple of other shops where I felt like the staff knew less than I did, and I don't know JACK. I like the fact that they can ween you off the nicotine 1 mg at a time if you like. I also thought it was pretty cool that they could taste and reproduce a flavor that I liked from another source, GLACIER ICE was born. Even though I have found some items at better prices here and there (it happens) AND there's a 90 + miles distance from my door to their's I recommend this shop to everyone I know. The place is nice the guy (possibly the manager/owner) was super sweet and gave me a deal which was nice. If you're into vape check it out. They have different levels of nicotine as well as different flavors. Also being in Cali they had a weed vape don't know if it's real or not but it was there. Great local place. Clean and had a good atmosphere. Friendly staff made it easy to order without pressuring you to hurry, and was helpful getting me up to speed with the shops offerings. I got the house toasted marshmallow while I was in scoping the place out and it was a good blend and tasted great, and came in a unicorn bottle. Definitely look forward to trying more of their house juices. There was a large menu and they were persistent that they would make other blends. There is a entire shelf full of tanks for people to try flavors out. I thought this was a great idea to encourage people to try something they might not otherwise. So I loved this place. Till I found out I was sold a knock off Kanger Mini Pro Tank II from the owner himself. When I found a real one I realized it was supposed to come with TWO replacement coils (not 1 that this shop sold me) randomly one day as I was cleaning mine I screwed it back together and it literally snapped apart... A co-worker had gotten the upgraded starter kit and was able to quit smoking in just a few days. I was amazed at her success! After a few weeks I decided I too was going to quit smoking. I purchased my first unit from "another" store on 6/20 because STV was already closed and I knew if I didn't do it right then, I probably wouldn't do it anytime soon. My first visit to STV was on Sat, 6/22/13 on my way home from work, headed for my granddaughter's 7th birthday party. I needed juice (the other store didn't have any selection at all: Grape or Menthol 12mg) Being a nervous newbie, Tyler made me feel very comfortable. He was super informative and patient through all of my questions and doubts. I even got to try out a whole bunch of flavors which I narrowed down to just 2 that day. Jamaican Rum & Hawaiian Punch. Two weeks later, I came in again for more juice and ended up buying an upgraded starter kit so that my daughter could have one too. I left with 3 new flavors that day and came back with my daughter a week later and got 3 more plus a lanyard. I'm hooked on this place! The flavors are endless and they will even mix flavors accordingly if you know what you like. I've referred a few people and 3 have gone in and picked up their Starter Kits this week. I only came in since Just the tip closed and smoke city has ridiculous prices...but I'm really not a fan of having to buy ejuice that still has to be steeped. And the juices I've gotten from here have been sub par. Their fruity flavors have minimal flavor (even with double flavor boost) and the dessert flavors taste like someone farted in my bottle before selling them. I give them 2 starts for price and variety and friendly staff but I'm not impressed and most likely won't be back. read more
