I had a few ideas of which food I wanted based on their catering menu, but Dan made some great suggestions that I had not thought of. Additionally, he covered all the details that our event venue didn't even mention to me. For example, he asked how I would be playing music and I had no idea. He told me the options provided by the venue and recommended types of music that would be good for this type of event. Note that the venue I used was not associated with his catering company - he was just being nice and helpful. He was also very easy to get in contact with. I have definitely worked with other event-related services that are hard to reach and it is a nightmare, so consider this important aspect if you need your event to go well! The planning aspect of it all went so smoothly and I could not have done it without his help. The evening of the event, caterers were already hard at work by the time I got there. They had set everything up - buffet tables, tablecloths throughout venue, bar with bartender, etc... All I had to do was connect my phone to the Bluetooth for music and start greeting guests when they came in. They seriously made it so easy and I feel like that isn't even their job. Each staff member was friendly and helpful. I could ask them anything and they'd gladly help me find the answer. Not only that, but the FOOD WAS DELICIOUS!!! I wish I had taken pictures but I was too busy with hosting. Everyone I talked to at the event raved about the food choices. We had the following items in the buffet: -Salmon with Ginger Soy Glaze -Stuffed Chicken Breast (Herb Cheese with Balsamic Drizzle) -Broccoli Pancotto -Vegan Summer Pasta -Vegan House Salad -Fresh Breads with Butter -Dessert: Cake Shots -Drinks: Soda, Water, Beer, and Wine In summary, I would strongly recommend Hendri's for anyone who needs a catering service! Initially, when we started looking at our catering needs, we solicited quotes from several companies. Most catering companies weren't able to deliver all of our wants in our budget, but Hollyberry offered flexibility and competitive pricing to meet our needs. We ultimately decided on Hollyberry based on several factors: they were honest and upfront about their pricing and it was affordable, they offered a fun and innovative menu, and their dishes were able to accommodate multiple dietary needs. It turned out to be a great decision! Once we partnered with Hollyberry, they worked with us to construct our ideal menu including a variety of appetizers, plated entrees, desserts, and late-night snacks. We felt supported throughout the process and having the ability to taste our menu beforehand offered us welcome insights and influenced how our menu was constructed. We ended up working with Nickie who was a wonderful partner. She was enthusiastic, thoughtful, and genuinely cared about making sure we had a great experience! The couple of weeks leading up to the wedding, Nickie was flexible in accommodating changes to our guest count and was able to take design ideas from us and run with them to create a cohesive vision for the evening. One thing to note: we signed a contract with Hollyberry nearly a year prior to our event and built our contract and menu with one coordinator, but were ultimately reassigned to Nickie. Nickie was so excited to take on our event, but we wished Hollyberry would have shared with her more details and decisions made previously revolving around our event. She wasn't given our updated contract so we had to sync up many of the details we had confirmed 4 months prior. At the end of the day, we were very much on the same page and wouldn't expect this to be a common occurrence. The night of our 140-person reception, Hollyberry was on it! Their waitstaff was friendly, the food was delicious, and the experience at our venue was seamless. Nickie was very much in the moment and made sure to call out guests where there were dietary needs--we never had concerns about folks getting the wrong meal or accidently getting served something that could have caused a health issue. As far as the food goes--DELICIOUS! Particular highlights include the bacon wrapped dates (passed hors d'oeuvre), toasted cannelloni bites and buffalo chicken dippers (late night snack), and the fudgy flourless mini cake bites (gluten free dessert). We ended up selecting stuffed acorn squash (vegan friendly), mozzarella stuffed chicken, and beef tenderloin as the entrees, all of which were excellent, but particularly the beef, with many guests of ours commenting on how great the food was! In all, our experience with Hollyberry was great. They were able to build out an appetizing menu that adhered to our goals, arranged a cohesive vision for the food that enhanced the experience, estimated the perfect amount of food needed for our guest count and delivered a wonderful evening! We would absolutely recommend Hollyberry Catering!

Our menu was 2 kinds of ribs, baked beans, slaw, vegetables, and bread that was served in a buffet line for 100 people hot, tasty, properly cooked and delicious. I did not want to embarass myself by taking seconds but the food was good enough to take thirds. Our event planning classmate ended up taking a HUGH amount of leftovers which went to several church luncheons the next dahy. The wait staff was incredibly helpful but inobtrusive. Regardless of the price of the event, I would hope that the Julia's staff would insist that whatever they serve was delicious and of good quality. The staff is nice, but not amazing. The lunch at Panera that is half sandwich/half soup and comes with an apple (fresh fruit) is about 7-8$ and presents and tastes significantly better. I would only use this venue again if I was merely renting the space. Outside catering would be a must! Definitely will not recommend, sadly.
