Would not recommend, food was cold and hard as a rock. The servers at the event were incredibly rude.

I worked with Marti (very friendly and so helpful!) and she put together a great selection of finger-foods for our cocktail party.

Their selections in both categories are delicious from personal experience when someone did this for me after returning home after a month in ICU. It's very nice to have available when you are home recovering. Although I loved home cooked dishes I also recieved, I also liked this gift as well because everything is also packaged to go in to the freezer and reheating was a breeze in microwave or stove top. Warning.... Beware of delivery. I thought they did their own but for individual orders, they farm it out and the cost is high and IMO not worth it if you are able to pick it up at their cute shop in webster groves and deliver on your own. I almost paid $42 to deliver 1 grocery bag of food to chesterfield! My car costs less for a full tank of gas so round trip delivering on my own was way way less. The amount was not shared with me on order placement and when the charge hit my bank I was really surprised! I called and cancelled the delivery and was issued a credit, but it was a surprise I did not need, if they had just been upfront about the charge while ordering. Love the food, great local business/neighbor and always a pleasure to give them business.

Nice little neighborhood grocery store, with a long history that also serves some great sandwiches!…read more We tried the Roma and Mary Jane sandwiches and loved both. All sandwiches come with a pickle spear and small bag of chips. The flavors were nice and fresh, with great taste! About $9 each and a good size. We sat and ate at the counter and read about the history of the building. Next time I want to get some of the side salads to try. The service was a bit odd, as there were 4 people behind the sandwich counter and 1 at the front/store register. The 4 folks were all talking to each other and didn't notice us for a bit. The guy who took the order seemed a bit upset and didn't really talk much. He sent me up front to pay and then said to come back in 5 min for the food. After a few minutes I came back and the other folks helped find the order. They were both very friendly, and helpful. Must have just caught the first guy in a bad moment. Is it a place for date night? No. It is worth going there and grabbing lunch to eat outside on a nice day? Hard "YES"! Great food at a good value and a local place, can't ask for much more than that!

Unfortunately, there wasn't anything remarkable about our experience. The deli was... charming, but very, very old. There didn't seem to be AC and the box fans were not really doing much. We ordered our food to-go after seeing the inside. I ordered the Monty sandwich, a toasted roast beef sandwich with salami as well. The meat tasted rather low-quality and the sandwich was overly chewy. My mom's Westwood Sandwich, a chicken salad on croissant, was slightly better but nothing to write home about. The prices were great, and it's always nice to support a local business, but we would probably not give this place our business again.

If you've never tried toasted ravioli, you haven't lived. This is a great place to go to try it. I could eat it until I no longer fit in my pants! They really should have a plus sized clothing department right there in the store as some people are going to need it. Oh, and they have great pizza, too. You can try the St Louis style with provel (which I really like), but I'm pretty sure they have a mozzarella option, too. I've also tried their salads in the past and really enjoyed them. One day, maybe I'll get to try one of their Italian dishes. The place is a bit unusual in its look and structure. If you are going to get a table and eat, go in through the back door. There are some areas that look like smaller rooms, and then there was a larger room where we ate. It's all enjoyable, though. I also want to say that our waitress there was one of the most outstanding waitresses that I've ever seen. She was very friendly and helpful. It definitely added to the experience. I just don't think people realize how good St Louis food is! This is a prime example. Unless you really don't like Italian food (in which case, what's wrong with you?), go eat here!

Well we went on a weekend for dinner and it's clear why there are crowds here. The two of use arrived about 6pm on a Saturday and had to wait about 30 minutes for a table -- they don't take reservations for small groups. Turned out to be fine as we found a seat near the bar and got to watch the World Cup game as we had a drink. We were on the patio, this was June, and it's a really neat space as they can adjust the room to be more open or closed depending on how the weather is. Was an interesting feeling, felt like we were inside but with a nice breeze. For food we got the toasted raviolis to start, each of us got a salad, for entrees we got chicken parm and the rigatoni allá vodka with shrimp. They also gave complimentary bread that was very nice. I especially enjoyed my rigatoni allá vodka but everything was delicious and reasonable my priced. Food all came out fast and service was quick and friendly.

Service: Our delivery was always early and came perfectly packaged Price: This will be my preferred choice every time, you cannot ask for a better price. Thank you Mr. Russo for the outstanding service and quality! Now I officially have a love hate relationship with my stove.

Dear Patrick, I'm unable to respond directly to your comment so I'll leave it here…read more We were instructed to put together boxes labeled by table number with decorations and directions/pictures on how we wanted them. We were told the decorations would be put on the tables by your team and the tear down/set up of the room would be taken care of by Russo's staff. That may not be what is on the written contract but it is 100% what my fiance and I were told. Which is why we put together boxes and a binder to be organized and helpful. I have never spoken to you so I'm not sure how you know what was discussed with us and what was not. I stated above the communication prior to our wedding day was horrendous and it was very hard to get questions answered. Maybe if communication had been better any confusion on expectations could have been cleared up. Aside from that, if you had properly read my review you would have comprehended that my complaint was not with the fact that your staff didn't set out the decorations, but with the fact they didn't communicate that they weren't going to until 10 minutes before the reception started. As I stated above my mother showed them the boxes, decorations and binder before the cocktail hour started and the staff member agreed with my mother that they would set it out. If it wasn't in the contract and they weren't planning on doing that then that was the opportunity to let that be known. However, they waited until 10 minutes before and that made us run 40 minutes behind schedule. To address your comment that the outside bar closed and the inside one opened... how were my guests supposed to get to the inside bar while they were at the outdoor cocktail hour? They could not enter because my mother and bridal party were setting up the inside of the building. Therefore my guests were outside with a closed bar while the bartender was at an empty inside bar for 40 minutes.
