What a big school. How nice they have things we don't have in the city. they have a courtyard, where the all students can eat. That are seniors. There's a lot of good and bad things. I can say about the school I became Close to some teachers here. teachers that actually care for you and you're well-being and passing. Some administrators and some teachers at the school don't care if you're going through things at home or if you work late, they don't even give you a second chance to pass. they will fail you and not Give you extra credit Work, this is not a good school if you have a disability. Disability kids don't blend in with the regular kids at the school. If you have a disability, they treat you different. Or they just harass you or bully you. Depending on your looks. It's hard to make friends here. Everyone here is either is an antisocial or doesn't talk coming from a school in the city. I had a lot of friends, but I had a hard time making friends at this school I met some people at the school. That are great. I love that. There was some people in the school that made my experience different but also it was hard to adapt to everything. The school has a lot of students. They need to make another high school in this area they pack all these kids in one high school. All the highways are crowded. You can barely get by and then they're students just hanging in the hallways making it worse. But this school is not only a good in bad school, but I wouldn't recommend you to send your kids here unless it's the only option this go. Talk me a lot of things it gave me experiences, but also teaches me that not every place is a good place to be yet. This place is a good place, and also a bad place because of the harassment and bullying that goes on in the school and no one does nothing about it. Even if they say they do. They don't do anything about it. They don't care about you passing. You're senior year. The teachers, some of them. Do not care. They're just there for a paycheck some teachers at the school, just teach. They don't care of you. Fail their course. Either way they still get paid, but there is some teachers out there. That's stick out like Miss Cox. Big shout out Miss Bell, Miss Scoggins, Miss de la Cruz. These teachers are amazing, especially Mr. Fang . He's the greatest math teacher you can have. When you have algebra de teachers that made my Experience at the school not so bad but this school They have too many kids. They don't even have enough parking spots for seniors who drive or juniors. And I think it's bad because they have rats too. I got to see one when I was in class. You would think well for such a good big school rats, i'm so thankful I got to meet at least some people in the school that are worth two years of my life in high school. Some people that stand it out and decided to be different from everybody else instead of not talking to me or just looking at me and not saying a word, especially those teachers that helped me in my hardest times

Your location…read more You can not ensure your child's safety or care at this school. The level of care is not consistent throughout all classrooms and there are no cameras in the classrooms for accountability or peace of mind. Children are neglected. My son is 10mos old and got moved to a new classroom. He spent 3 days there. 3 days too long. Day 1: An otherwise happy baby, did not want to go to his new teacher. I just attributed this to unfamiliarity but upon picking him up, the teacher seemed surprised that he would need 2 naps. Red flag. Day 2: at pick up, you could hear my son screaming down the hall. When I walked into the room, a teacher was yanking him by the arm to move him across the floor. According to the teacher, he was just "overtired". He hadn't had a nap since 9:23am. We pick up between 4:30 and 5pm. Upon getting him home, I realized that my son was left in a dirty diaper for hours: so long that the smell has dissipated and the feces was caked on his rear end resulting in TERRIBLE diaper rash. The report showed no diaper cream being used on him despite our providing it and they had missed his last diaper change entirely. His report was also missing a bottle and somehow they fed him one of his snacks during his nap. Needless to say, theres a lie in there somewhere. Called the owner that night. Day 3: I spoke with the director that assured me this classroom would be supervised until things got better. She also told me that the inaccurate reports were across the board of children in this classroom. I was called at 4:10 to be assured our son "had a great day". When i picked him up, he flopped on the floor and cried for me to get him. when we got home, i noticed he seemed famished despite my providing 2 8oz formula bottles, apple juice, lunch, and 3 snacks. When he saw his yogurt package he went ballistic. Again, strange behavior. At 6:35 pm the owner called me to tell me that they had found my son's second bottle still in the warmer and he had never received it. Our 10mos old son had not received any milk since 10:45am. Upon picking up my son's things tonight, they had seen the unedited/unrevised review and proceeded to ask me if we really planned to sue and told me that they could've easily lied and told us that his bottle had just been left off the report. They even threatened to take action against my husband's place of employment due to the review. They also pressured me to have him take it down. I said that i would speak to him and made no assertions about how that would play out. They agreed to refund my entire month's tuition to include the $200 yearly service fee. We will see if that happens after they read this. Our perspective is that the owners are money hungry and showed little care about the children or staff despite raising fees at roughly 5% yearly. Fees are not comparible to other care centers with respect to value for money. Other schools offer newer, more updated facilities and technologies, as well as more meals. We will be filing a report with DHS. All of this is extremely disappointing as the teachers in his first infant classroom truly cared an kept great records. Unfortunately I cannot trust that our experience is atypical given the owners response. As an owner, I would want to make sure thay my care center was so well ran that I would understand the cause for a bad review given our experience and could confidently welcome a visit from DHS because I knew this experience was a fluke. Instead, they tried to strong-arm me into taking this down because their "corporate would get involved and DHS would involve (us) as well". Needless to say, we do not recommend.

We thought CHS (Collierville) would be the best choice but we found it offered very little in programs & classes at the time. Me & my family then talked about Houston & I had no objections to it as I wanted to attend originally & I was happy to enroll starting the 2nd semester of my freshman year. With a fresh start to close out the school year. I adjusted to the environment & made friends within the first few months there before the summer break. With a New year & a fresh start I started checking out the sports & other programs offered. I ended up joining the Wrestling & Football which were just developing into the greatness they achieved throughout the 90's. Those are very excellent programs as the coach's are passionate on the field or may in edition to their classroom. The clubs offered at Houston are also excellent like BETA ,DECA , Pride,FCA just to name a few. From Mr. Clayton to Coach Taylor their head & assistant Principals have always been the greatest next to the teaching staff past & present. If I had a kid high school aged & lived in the area presently I would send my kid here.
