SYDNEY IS OUTSTANDING!!! Not only was Sydney enthusiastic about photographing us, she was flexible and creative with our surroundings. Her enthusiastic efforts enabled our family portraits to be lively, interactive, and fun. I'm not a picture person but now I want to find occasion for Sydney to photograph again. If another photographer were to offer their services to me I would require a sales pitch from them about why not to choose Sydney again. My immediate siblings, to include my mother and daughter, visited me for the 4th of July 2014 weekend in San Diego, CA. This was the first time my immediate siblings along with their families and significant others have been in one place at the same time. My mother wanted family portraits so I started researching and found Sydney. Usually when you think of family portraits everyone is dressed up in a studio with numerous boring back drops to choose from. My initial intent was to have our portraits taken at our vacation rental but when I provided the address to Sydney she immediately researched the location on google maps and recommended not to because the size of the yards would not provide enough room for the number of people. I am ecstatic she convinced me to choose La Jolla in the area of Seal Cove. Our portraits are FABULOUS and most importantly my mother loves them :)! Sydney did our wedding photos, and I can honestly say I could not be any more pleased with our pictures. We met with her a few months before the wedding and told her the "vibe" we were going for, and then we communicated to share ideas up until the wedding. I knew she was really concerned with giving us exactly what we wanted, and I knew she would do a great job... But I had no idea how fantastic everything would turn out. She took exactly what we wanted and made it even better than we imagined it. Her creativity is amazing, and she definitely has an eye for poses. Every time I look back at our wedding pictures, I feel like I am back there on that day. She perfectly captured the energy and feel of the best day of our lives, and I can't thank her enough for that. Over a year later, I still have people tell me that we have some of the best, unique wedding pictures they have seen. I would have to agree. :) Also -- Not only will the final product you get from Sydney be amazing, but she is very easy and fun to be around. SYDNEY IS AWESOME! I have had photo shoots done with Sydney and she has always done a great job from action shots to head shots she is sure to capture that perfect picture. I have had photos done by other photographers before but Sydney by far is better than any. She makes you feel comfortable and at ease so that you are able to relax, have fun, and be you in your pictures. Her prices are the best I have seen yet especially for the quality and value of her photos. As a professional dancer I use my headshot often and even though the pictures I took with Sydney were much older than the last photo shoot I had done with someone else I always go back to Sydney's pictures when submitting a headshot they just look the most natural and the most like me compared to any other photos I have taken. I hired Sydney to take pictures at an event I threw in a bar here in Colorado. The event involved two DJs, a rowdy crowd, and a full on light show, and Sydney excelled. She displayed a level of professionalism I've rarely experienced with nightlife photographers not only in her photography but in the way she worked with us to figure out what we wanted and needed from the shoot. Looking at her portfolio, we were excited to see what she could do, and the photos she took didn't disappoint. Her photography and conduct exceeded our expectations in every category. Sydney is fantastic! From the start we had fast, courteous communication and everything (including payment, photo shoot, and receipt of pictures) was excellent. This was the first time our family of 18 (yes 18 people!) was together on vacation and she captured our hearts on film. I had Sydney do my pictures for my press package. She did an amazing job with location selection and great ideas for poses. She really takes her time with her clients to make sure she gets the right shot. I've worked with other photographers and they use an hour time frame or charge you more for more time. Sydney's prices are so affordable and are not done by time constraints. I always get compliments on the photos and it's definitely helped me get some gigs. She does a great job with musicians, additionally I've seen her work with family pictures and they are down right adorable. read more

Sydney is an amazing photographer! I found Sydney through Groupon, but couldn't purchase the deal because of site issues. She honored the Groupon deal anyways and was stoked to work with me to plan my family photo shoot. When our planned location was crowded due to an event, Sydney offered options for replacement sites. My kids are young and kind of handful, but they warmed up to Sydney quickly. Sydney was easy going and took some great shots of my family. Professional and positive. I am one of those dorky dudes that takes off his glasses and becomes, well, a dork without glasses on. But Sydney harnessed what is relatable to me and took great pictures accordingly. We took hungover cafe pics, photos with technology, and even a graveyard scene. I mentioned positive.
