As a wedding coordinator, I'm always a little skeptical when working with new vendors because you never know what to expect in terms of professionalism, communication, and work ethic. Brandon exceeded every expectation. He was incredibly easy to work with, provided great direction during photos, and helped create a fun, relaxed atmosphere throughout the day. His sense of humor and lighthearted personality made the experience enjoyable for both the couple and the vendor team. From what I've seen on social media, his work is absolutely stunning, and I can't wait to see the full gallery from our event. Both Pauleen and Myro are incredibly talented and professional photographers. Pauleen helped make us feel entirely at ease in front of the camera with her directions and constantly hyping us up. Myro did a fantastic job getting photos of all our guests during the cocktail hour. We had several guests compliment how friendly he was and how many people he captured. In the background leading up to our wedding day, the True Photography team helped put a photography timeline that aligned with our wedding coordinator's timeline. Alex was clear on posing directions and had such a calm demeanor/communication style that helped me feel reassured. Dillan was here, there, and everywhere to get the best angles for our first dance, games, and guest reactions. Looking at our photos, I'm floored with how beautiful they turned out! The wedding day came and went like a flash, but now we have sooo many photos to remind us of the happy and heartwarming moments from that day. Excited to see how the videos turn out! I knew from our first intro call that we were going to be a great match for wedding photos and the whole process leading up to it. Allie is so positive, reassuring, professional, and has the absolute best energy. We knew we wanted someone who we vibed with extremely well seeing as neither my husband nor I are models and aren't the most comfortable in front of a camera. Allie made us feel beyond comfortable and we had such a fun time every time we got together with her that every photo looked natural and perfect in turn! We did our engagement photos with Allie first, and with fires in So Cal we had to re schedule last minute. We're not local so this meant another trip to San Diego, but Allie was overly accommodating and did whatever was needed to make it work for us. She tracked weather patterns and adjusted on the fly to ensure we got the perfect beach photos we were hoping for! We talked and laughed the whole time I had no idea how many photos she actually got, come to find out she got a TON of absolutely perfect looking photos!! We were so beyond thrilled. Leading up to our wedding day, Allie was in touch with us to build timelines, photo lists, and discuss our vision. In terms of vendor support she is seriously top notch and was always available to us. On our wedding day, Allie brought the same infectious energy and positivity we had received from her all along and that made SUCH a huge difference in our day! She made us feel like royalty, so relaxed, and kept us smiling and laughing the entire time. Both film and digital pictures turned out UNREAL and we have never been happier with photos of ourselves! Allie is one of a kind and her work is the most stunning art I've ever seen. We are so thrilled to have met her and been given such magical forever keepsakes from our big day, I cannot wait to work with her again for future life events. Not only did we find the most perfect wedding vendor in Allie, but we found a forever friend as well and I would recommend her to anyone and everyone. The way she incorporates film and edits her digital photos to match gave her work such a timeless feel. We got to work with her for our engagement shoot, and she instantly made us feel comfortable in front of the camera. She guided us through poses with such ease, and we're so grateful because the photos turned out absolutely beautiful. On our wedding day, Allie and her team were a total joy. They brought the energy, the direction, and the professionalism. Our entire wedding party couldn't stop raving about how seamlessly she managed the photos and how confident she was behind the lens. Throughout the whole process, he was very patient and professional because he has a little boy of his own as well, so he knew how to deal with kids. What I like about him is prompt, straightforward, precise and good at seizing the moment. He really has a gift in photography. First off, I'd like to specify that this review of Jerry is not only as a client (which I am) but…read morealso from the perspective of another photographer. As a photographer I know who to hire for events and I hired Jerry. Now the reason that Jerry photographed my (much) younger sister's Bat Mitzvah is precisely because Jerry is amazing. Notice that I didn't say "amazing photographer" (which he is). I left that statement hanging with just the word "amazing." That's because Jerry also happens to be a wonderful friend, father, and all around human being. I will actually challenge you to find someone nicer. And yes, he happens to be a fantastic photographer and a total gearhead. I think in selecting a photographer for something like a wedding you should look at how talented the photographer is. Absolutely you should like their images. BUT you should also get a sense for how enjoyable that person is to be around and how honest that person is. This is a person you will interact with a lot. Really a lot sometimes. Your photographer is probably the person you spend the most time with on your wedding day (sometime more than your new spouse) and is the vendor that you will probably have the longest relationship with. Really think about that. I wouldn't typically be so hyperbolic, but in this case it's true: Jerry is the nicest guy I know. If you like his images then you have every reason to hire him.
