They are excellent and patient folks and share their knowledge with you when applicable. I love that they have a rewards program, which is a nice feature to see in this day and age, as most companies do not offer this. but Smokey Shay's rewards their customers. This is one of the many reasons I keep shopping here, they offer great service, good prices and they have a wide variety and selection to appease any customer that walks through the door.

This is a bit of a misnomer, because although they have some pipes and tobacco, I didn't see any…read morebeer. This seems to me primarily a cigar store, and it's a good one. The humidor is well stocked with many lines from a few brands, rather than stocking a few lines from a bunch of brands. I like this approach. They have an extensive selection of Fuentes and Padrons, and feature Drew Estate in a smaller humidor in the main room. If I had more time I would have enjoyed having them walk me through some of the brands I did not recognize. I was also impressed by the low pressure sales strategy. I went in looking for a butane insert for my Zippo lighter and the guy (regret not getting his name) said they didn't carry them because they could not compete with Amazon pricing. He then walked me through their selection of butane lighters, from $8 disposables up to $100 Xicars (we didn't look at the Duponts b/c not in my price range). I ended up buying a $60 Xicar and can of butane and left very happy. It's not the biggest store, but what they carry is smartly curated. There are seats and ashtrays on the front porch of the house for smoking, and I think you can also smoke inside as I spied a lounge in the back. I n addition to the name, the location is a bit unusual, across the street from a park in a residential neighborhood a couple of blocks off of Stratford Road. So, it is not at all hard to get to, but it's no place you would just drive by and stop at on the spur of the moment.

He asked us questions like how many are invited, location of the venue, type of food that will be served and voila, the recommendations started flowing. We are having beer and wine. He suggested reasonably priced wines that wouldn't break our budget, but are still delicious and would be enjoyed by our guests. We also were able to taste the wines he suggested. We've also been there shopping for wine and find they have a large selection to choose from. They are reasonably priced too. I found some of the wines we bought there priced for more at grocery stores. Another bonus, I love Duplin Wine, most specifically the Orange Blossom and Southern Mist. I can only find them here at total wine. Beer is priced lower here, too. Well, the kind we drink. You will also find good selection of ciders and THC infused drinks. Big variety of everything. It's fun just to go and look around... Broaden your horizon.
