(Plus it was infusions or a blood transfusion so here I am). Office is outdated and staff is nice but.... idk let's just say that patient care is better then customer service. Nurses are cool but unless you ASK to speak to someone about you "labs" let's say no one will really update you. I have been going once a week for 3 weeks now. I have 3 more to go before I find out if we can do biweekly infusions, then monthly and goal is once every 3 to 6 months for life. I feel so much better. That's the important part. And I have huge copays ant they're very cool about working with me and allowing me to pay monthly. They have a more updated and bigger location In Silver Spring I hear.. and the nurses that travel from one office to another are constantly being pulled left and right. I will say callbacks are instant and answers are upfront. (No sugar coating) so I appreciate that. Ohhh most importantly, i was able to start my treatments on the day of consultation, they didn't make me "come back" another day to start.

I have been coming to this center for two years now. I have anemia and need to have frequent iron…read moreinfusion therapy. The room where they administer the infusion is also the same room where cancer patients come to get their treatments. It's made me very anxious the first time because of this. You feel so bad so many people suffering by your side. Meanwhile you are just there for a boost of iron. I have been treated by Dr. Haggerty. He is a true angel and really helped me with my diagnosis. The man knows his stuff. I highly recommend him and his peers. The facility and staff is very understanding. Considering the treatment facilities they are providing. It's always super clean. They have water, coffee and snacks readily available. As you wait or that you can have while receiving treatments. They also give you pillows, and warm blankets to rest while receiving the treatments on the chairs. The chairs are very comfortable and versatile. I highly recommend this place for cancer patients looking for a facility to get their treatments done. I've even seen drs who have gotten diagnosed come here and sit next to the commoners to get their chemo/radiotion done. A+ staff, facility and drs!

It's absolutely unacceptable to not be prepared for this in advance when an interpreter is the minimum of the accommodations a health care facility should be providing. It is their job to know who the patient is and any accommodations they may need - this information would have been found in doctors notes, notes when the appointment was made, notes from the referring doctor. Absolutely unacceptable to have made her feel more uncomfortable than she may have already been preparing for such an invasive procedure. It should not be up to the patient undergoing surgery to bring an interpreter and even less now due to COVID.
