Not once was I ever told the cost of services prior to any visit. This goes against the No Surprises Act of 2022. I have already reported One Medical to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. I have requested they adjust my bill accordingly, but I keep getting bills via email and mail. I even called at the beginning of 2022 to confirm my new insurance was accepted, and they confirmed it was. They used to be an amazing practice, but things have severely changed. I will not be renewing my membership even though I've been a member for years.

No rushing, they take their time to make sure your issues are addressed. Today I had an issue with a sore throat and fever. I went on line and had an appointment time that was two hours away. When I got there I was checked in in under 30 seconds. The doctor took me back within five minutes and she listened to my issue, examined me, took some tests and determined what was wrong. Dr. Guansing spent about 20 minutes with me, no rushing, figured out the issue and sent me on my way. My experiences with One Medical are always like this and it was the same at the Bethesda and Pike and Rose facilities also.

My guess is probably limited because it's Chevy Chase and they wanted a place with parking. Connecticut Ave can be...difficult, and this office is not near a metro. The parking in the back can also get crowded, and could be cheaper. So ultimately I deduct one star because it could have been a little more accessible, even to patients with cars. But the staff (especially the lab staff) is excellent and you can expect a similar experience as other offices.

In order to make an appointment, he forwarded my phone call to the front desk. When I asked why they had not been answering their phones I was told the phone never rang here. I chose Dr. Timothy Lee as my pcp and also see NP Michelle Patterson regularly for wellness checks. I also saw Dr. Jillian Noyes once when the others were not available for a last minute rush appointment. I've been so happy with every member of the health care team who has treated me. I feel like the team spends more time with patients than at my previous practice. Bloodwork, prescription refills, referrals to specialists, follow up...it's all done quickly. The staff is friendly, the offices are clean and fresh, and it's all a nice place to go. It never feels hectic. And of course, the app makes it easy to schedule appointments. I'm very glad I made the move. I have neighbors who see other health care practitioners at this office and are equally happy with their care.
