We had to drive to Evans from Thomson which created a problem with football practice, but we felt like the sacrifice would be worth it. Britney was our tutor, nothing bad to say about her. Dalton really liked her. Week 2 Was scheduled for the following Monday at 7. We arrived in Evans at 6:50 and remained there until 7:30 no one showed up!! After talking to the owner the next day she said she had an "alternant" there, No you didn't , Lies! She told me she would not charge me for that session and the next one would be free. I still got charged. She said she would get the charge taken off, never happened. At this point I should have found a different company, but my son really liked Britney, so we decided to keep going. Week 3 Britney did come to my house for the session as promised. She told us it only took her 30 minuets to get here, not 45 like GPS said. After the session was over, Britney told us she would come to our house from now on. Today she was supposed to be here at 7. No Show! Contacted owner through text, she said we were supposed to come to Evans. Not what we were told by Britney. Owner says Britney doesn't have authority to make that decision. I'm done with this outfit! Not run professionally at all. Save your money, find a different Tutor company!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND LINDSEY's CLASSES The class is held at her condo-turned-into-Soap-lab in a highrise downtown Long Beach near the beach. Lindsey provides snacks, drinks, handout, materials, and protective gear. We talked about soap, saponification, ingredients, and do hands on with making out cold press soap. We leave with 3 bars of soap still in it's mold (takes two weeks to cure). What I've taken away from the class... 1) Lindsey showed us the basics, the tip of the iceberg, and we create from there. Let's just say I begun ordering my organic materials when I got home and started looking into formulas and how to tweak them based on what I've learned 3) Lye is used for the chemical reaction for saponification but is not not a direct ingredient within the soap 3) difference between "beauty bar" and real soap (ex: dove is a beauty bar but not a soap) I'll be back soon to take the advance class! I decided to check out mathnasium for him to maintain and get ahead in math. The director explained the program in detail and made it easy to understand. You play a monthly fee and can attend as many times a week for an hour(more time is given to middle/high school students). He is currently enrolled in the 6 month program. Will update my review after the six months are up to see if we could see any improvement.
