Horrible Customer Service. Very unprofessional !!! My Grandfather used them back in 2007 for when one of his family members went to jail. Now that its almost 12years later , I have noticed that they never did a reconveyance deed... I called them several times to remove themselves off his mortgage. Since they can't provide me proof of any additional debt that was paid off. I requested for proof of any amount owed which they did not sent to my house and there is nothing filed with the courts on this matter !, horrible to do business with !I hope this helps any future Customers that they do business with. You think your never going too need a Bails Bondman. Well, my family did. There were other places out there offering a little better deal, but quite frankly they didn't know what they were doing. The lady in there, I think it was Teresa, was VERY knowledgeable, and handled out circumstance professionally and promptly. It was like not only having a Bail Bondsman, but also a lawyer. I swear I think she knew more then the lawyer our family picked. (that's another story.) She saved us thousands of dollars just with her advice. Can't recommend this place anymore highly. read more

I recently got bailed out by Sylvias. I drive past Sylvias on a daily basis and so do about 500 other dockworkers . Word has always been that Sylvias gives a discount to union workers. I found that true, but not with Sylvias. A nearby bail company will give a 20% discount to union workers. I know that because I just bailed out two people and they were tickled pink to serve a union worker that recommends them so often in which I used to do for Sylvias. Long story short, I knew I was going to need bail because of a family spat which I knew was going to go sour so I gave Sylvias all the info they needed including my credit card info. I was arrested a couple weeks later which resulted in a 20,000.00 bail which was enhanced to 100,000.00 because of a prior charge I had. I called Sylvias and told them I needed to get out on 20,000.00 bail because I didnt know of the 100k enhancement yet. They got the green light from a family member to bail me on the 100k. My credit card would only let a maximum of 2,000.00 to be charged. That was the hook, line and sinker they needed to make an extra 2 grand , so they had me by the you know what and took that and told my people that in order for me to get out, they would need a guarantee that I would pay the other 8,100.00, so my person wrote a check for that and that would rip it up after I paid. I show up the next day to settle things and the lady was very polite and nice, thats until I asked her about a union discount. She said flat out NO, you don't get a discount of any sort. I told her that I have gotten 20% discounts other times. She said the only way they will give me a discount is if i put up collateral. I got the ok to do that. They even had that info on file. I told the lady, yes, you may use that property so I can get my 20% off. She again said NO, absolutely not, we already made up the papers. I then told her I would like to use another bail company who honers union worker discounts to get it for 8k instead of 10k. She said fine, but you will have to get rearrested and you will lose the 2k we already took from my credit card. So heres a good piece of advise, before getting bailed out by Sylvias, NEVER trust them with your credit card, ALWAYS cut a deal before giving money. They show absolutely no mercy for repeat customers and I will surely never use them again. I will post this same article every month to let the public know the truth about these manipulative crooks.
