He uses many different methods including acupressure, acupuncture, shiatsu, Rolfing, and other methods I don't know the names of with tremendous knowledge about both eastern and western medicines, herbal medicine, and ancient wisdom. I've had a lower hip pain for a decade since my fall. Physical therapies, chiropractic, different types of massages, and Rolfing didn't help much, and the pain was always lingering. Finally I feel more than 90% normal now. He is like a magic healer or some sort. With his expertise in so many different things, he just knows what to use and how to use them. Found Nathan through yelp and google and once I checked out his web site - I knew I had to book a session with him. Wow. I have been getting massages for 30+ years and most have been 'just okay'. The worse is getting a therapist who only goes through the motions and you can tell their heart just isn't in it. Right away, I could tell Nathan was professional, knowledgable and passionate about his work. He communicates well and lets you know what he's doing and why. Checks in regularly with your comfort level and pressure being used throughout. I made an appointment for a 75 min. deep tissue for body issues that have cropped up from dealing with plantar fasciitis for 4 months. After an in-depth conversation he recommended the athletic performance massage session. Believe me, I'm in no way an athlete (and I'm 62), but this session was perfect for my needs. If you have never had a massage before or you are a regular, you will love his work! I told him that I would describe his techniques as thorough and detailed. It is just about impossible to find someone who massages like this. His space is welcoming, clean and quiet. I kind of hesitated writing this review because it's just a matter of time before he is inundated with clients. I don't want to share!

Her deep tissue abilities and ease of use with hot stones set her in upper ranks of massage therapists I have experienced in the past 35 years. Emerald wellness staff have always tried to resolve problems on my end or theirs (staff sick or injured). Like ANY direct service industry, finding right fit is Key. They have good parking. And whatever you do, DO NOT PREPAY FOR ANYTHING. She will take your money and leave you hanging. About six months ago, Jasmine ran a promotion where she was selling punch cards: you pay for 4 massages and get the 5th one free. She shares quite a bit about her personal life so I knew that she was using the money to go on vacation, but I'd been going to her for years and wasn't too worried about it. For the first 2 massages on the punch card, she rescheduled twice before I got in. That's a little more than typical for her, but she'd already been paid so I wasn't a priority anymore. On the third massage, she rescheduled a total of 5 times (many of those times, at the last minute) and then completely failed to show up at the appointment. She had a valid reason each time - her daughter's soccer games, her daughter had an injury, her dog died, etc. But I have a busy life too and I couldn't keep moving my meetings around to accommodate her when I was the customer! I asked her for a refund for the value of the remaining massages. She claimed that it was non-refundable. I hadn't been informed of that ahead of time, but that was fine. Jasmine is great at what she does (when you can get her to do it). So I tried to schedule appointments to use the remaining massages. She cancelled my appointments because she claimed that I "disrespected her" by asking her to be there for our scheduled times. In short, Jasmine owes me either 2 more massages or the value of the unused massages. I'd be happy with either, but she refuses to do either. If you're willing to deal with moving appointments consistently, Jasmine will give you a great massage, but don't prepay for anything because she'll find a way to keep your money without giving you a massage.
