Justin Lepley, who recently took over directing the marketplace as a whole, is an amazing human who also happens to be damn good at what he does. In addition to being a visionary florist (and having a grab-and-go plant section and fridge of pre-made bouquets), he also curates a fabulous selection of local goods, in addition to being a super charitable business owner in general. He even assigns names and pronouns to his in-house plant selection, demonstrating his values of being truly open to all and being an LGBTQIA+ advocate. Lepley & Co. has become a go-to spot for me when I am in the area and need a lovely local gift. On my most recent trip, I purchased 2 sets of wood-carved feminist earrings by a local maker (and a portion of the proceeds support women's reproductive rights). If you can't find it in Lepley & Co., you can't find it anywhere! They also host regular workshops between their multiple locations, so if you need a date idea, this is also a great place to look.
