Being in the military with physical training every day and I may have slept wrong, I had a couple knots in my shoulder that were restricting the movement of my neck, so I found this massage place. First, I called at 8am on a Saturday praying for an availability. Sally got me in at 10am! I got the sports massage consisting of massage and stretches. Best thing I could have done. I explained my issue and she went right to work. She has great pressure and uses great techniques to get those knots out. It literally melted away. If you're athletic and active, I'd highly suggest the sports massage. It's deep tissue with stretches. By the end of the session, I had full range of motion back in my neck. It was remarkable! A little warning: I'm sure she can tone down the pressure if you ask, but if you're a bigger guy or if you just like DEEP tissue, Sally is fantastic. I like deep tissue and rather have some discomfort and then feel that stress melt away rather than getting 3 oily rub downs for $60 a piece. Some massage therapist give you oily rub downs with no pressure, not the case here. She gets the job done. A 1 hour sports massage here can accomplish a lot! Sally was very nice and professional. She even suggested therapeutic ideas to use by myself, but I won't give her secrets away. I will definitely be back. Especially since she gives discounts to repeat customers. It's located 1.5 miles out the Yadkin gate of Fort Bragg on the left side. It's a 2 story house. See pictures. When making the reservation for my pregnant wife (as a surprise, no less), I was told that my purchase did not include a prenatal massage. After some discussion, the owner reluctantly decided to honor the Groupon and give her a massage. After the phone call, I went back to the Groupon site to figure out what I had missed, since I was after all, searching for a prenatal massage. Nothing. It was a completely unnecessary runaround I received for a kind gesture for my wife. Now, I believed that everyone deserves a second chance and that we should give her a try once more. Big mistake. Seven months later, I wanted to treat my wife to another massage. We called and left messages (with a call back number) numerous times over several weeks and received no response. After reaching out to Groupon, contact was miraculously made and we were told that we were the ones not answering. Wondering if our phones may have been causing the problem all along, we went to our phone records-nothing yet again. No calls were ever received from this business, especially at the alleged dates and times. To make matters worse, after calling to set up the appointment, instead of accepting our business and informing us of the unwritten policy, we were denied being able to make an appointment simply because we purchased through Groupon. Absolutely insane. I don't normally write reviews like these, since I understand and have plenty experience in sales and customer service and know firsthand what it is like dealing with ungrateful patrons, yet my wife and I are pretty understanding and educated people and avoid trying to fit into that category. What's worse is a business owner thinking that talking to patrons in a demeaning way is going to grow a customer base. I will conclude with this; I do believe a person gets what they pay for, but in trying to support a local business, I have eaten my own words. Pay the extra money or drive the extra distance to a PROFESSIONAL masseuse in Raleigh or Fayetteville. Find one with more than one good review, which was likely to have been written by a friend or family member.
