This is NOT your typical spa-like, relaxation massage - although I'm sure Sonja would be glad to do those feathery touches if that's what you want! If you're looking for real therapeutic relief, her deep tissue is THE best I've ever had. She knows how to start out relaxing the muscles so that she can go much deeper AND this helps tremendously in preventing soreness afterwards. I'm a true believer in her magic touch because each and every time I've had some "ouchy" somewhere - she has completely fixed it for me. I had a similar experience as Taryn R. I purchased a Groupon for a Couple's Massage Class. I scheduled our appointment right away for about a week out. I received a text message from Sonja the day before cancelling due to illness (not a super big deal...it happens - I only mention it because the Groupon has a limited time to redeem). Afterwards, her online booking for the Couple's Massage Class was shut down for about a month, with a note asking customers to call instead. I called several times, and never got an answer, nor a response to any of my voicemails. Finally, when the online booking was back up, I scheduled the appointment for 2:30 today (about 25 days remaining on the Groupon) and received an email confirmation. My wife and I showed up 5 minutes early and found the door locked. We figured, ok, we're early, we'll wait in the vestibule (not a waiting room with chairs, just a hallway, essentially). 2:30 rolled around, knocked on the door: nothing. Called: nothing. We waited until 2:45, knocking and calling every few minutes with no response, then left. As we were leaving, I called one more time and left a voicemail - almost 4 hours later and I still haven't gotten a response. As much trouble as this was to even get the appointment scheduled, I'm not making a third attempt. I got a refund from Groupon, and I will not even try to be Unwind's customer again. read more

Sonja is a great massage therapist and a wonderful teacher. We took her class and she made the experience very comfortable and fun for me and my husband. The whole session was very relaxing.....she even gave us extra time (more than allotted for the session) to answer our questions about hot stone massage and make sure we felt comfortable with what she taught us. Boyfriend got a groupon for a 75 minute couples massage. Business is not open on Saturday or Sunday which is kind of inconvenient for those of us who work Mon-Fri. Luckily, both me and my bf had Presidents Day off so decided to schedule it for 2:30pm, boyfriend received an automated confirmation email for that time. We get there around 2:15 as we know usually for most massage places we've been to they have you fill out waivers as such so we get there early. Knock on the door no one answers...so we wait it out 10 mins, then boyfriend calls the contact number..no answer, leaves a voicemail. We wait it out for another 10 mins, he calls again and no answer, wait out at least until 3pm...nothing. Never received a call back. Now I understand it was a holiday but we were never told that the business was closed that day, nor was there ever a follow up email from the masseuse personally saying that she couldn't make that day ,other than the automated email. Besides that she never even called us back!!! Now if you're in the service industry and your not open on the weekends when you can get more business why wouldn't you be around on a holiday where more people are off and available. Very unprofessional...needless to say will not be recommending this place. read more

Extremely poor service!!! Booked an appt. for massage for two. Was unresponsive every time attempting to make contact. Eventually returned call after about a week later. Confirmed appt for wrong day.
