I went to Symmetry Physical Therapy after dealing with a pinched nerve in my neck that was causing constant neck pain, significant pain in my shoulder, pain radiating down my arm, and chronic knots and tightness in my upper back. By the time I got there, I had been dealing with it for months and was pretty frustrated. I'll be honest--I was skeptical at first. Progress wasn't immediate, but I stuck with it, and eventually things started to improve. Today, I have almost full mobility back and have been pain free for the last few weeks, which is something I honestly wasn't sure I'd be able to say when I first walked through the door. What really stands out about Symmetry is the staff. Everyone is friendly, professional, and genuinely seems happy to be there. The front desk team is always pleasant and helpful, whether you're checking in, calling with a question, or trying to move an appointment around. I've worked primarily with Tyler, and he deserves a lot of credit for the progress I've made. He's knowledgeable, encouraging, and does a great job of explaining what you're doing and why you're doing it. At the same time, one thing that's impressed me is how well the entire staff works together. Even though I've primarily worked with one therapist, everyone pitches in and supports one another. It never felt like I was just showing up for an appointment and leaving. You get the sense that everyone there genuinely cares about their patients and wants to see them succeed. They don't just run you through the same routine every visit and send you on your way. They take the time to work with you, adjust things as you progress, and keep you motivated. For me, the results speak for themselves. I went from months of constant pain and limited mobility to being pain free and getting back to normal. I began coming here after learning of a torn rotator cuff injory I sustained during a workout. Luckily, it was not so advanced that I would require surgery. My doctor told me that, if I stick to a regimented therapy plan, I should be able to recover with near full use of my shoulder. After a less than pleasant experience at a hospital-based PT office, I decided to make a change and try out Symmetry. Their office hours are way more accommodating. Depending upon your schedule, they have early mornings, midday, and evenings available, as well as Saturdays. This was the initial selling point for me, as I was researching new locations. After reading some of the online reviews, I made the decision to have a consult. I met the owner, Chris, during my first visit. He immediately put my mind at ease, and understood all of my concerns. I am a highly active 45 year old wife, mother, and professional, so it was and is, very important for me to recover so as to feel when again. The front desk staff is super accommodating. They know all the patients by face and name, and they really make you feel at home. The PT staff is upbeat and help to motivate all the patients. They always have great music on, the space is clean, and I've never felt neglected. I'm a bit of an introvert, and they always just let me be. I do like to listen to the banter that goes on. The place, the staff and even the patients, all feel like a little family. I took a small break over the holidays, due to traveling, but plan to visit my docs for a check in, and to continue with my PT. I'm hoping to begin training for a 2025 Spartan. All the good people are gone and I just received a bill threatening me for legal action for services I paid for 5 months ago. I checked my bank records and lo and behold I have proof that the check I sent them was paid but curiously enough the name of the patient I wrote on the check has been blacked out : is it so they can can claim it was for someone else's bill ? Do I smell a scam? Too bad for them I also made a copy of the check BEFORE I sent it to them and it has the name of the patient on it. read more

Staff is good but the business aspect and billing aspect sucks! Upon my first visit, I asked if my insurance was covered (it's a new insurance) and that I didn't have to pay and they said yes it's covered that I was in-network. They had asked for my insurance card again once after a few visits but never said why. I assumed they hadn't copied it or had it on file. Nonetheless, one month later when arriving for my 7 visit, I was told at check in that I had a $75 co-pay. Not wanting to pay that much, I walked out. I then get sent a bill a week later for $450. How don't you advise someone about this before a visit? When I questioned it, the manager Chris said sometimes they don't get around to calling or sometimes they have trouble reaching the insurance companies after several times. Really? I JUST called my insurance company to question this and was on the phone for 5 minutes with about 30 seconds wait time. And even if their staff had trouble reaching someone, why didn't they just tell me that and I would have called myself to find out. I work for a medical facility and that is NOT the etiquette we practice. Our staff calls to verify these things ahead of time so that the patient is aware and expects this expense in advance. AND if we were to have trouble in any way we would advise the patient so they can help intervene or resolve the issue...not just keep seeing them and billing them hundreds of dollars later. read more

I'm on Social Security Disability for major Depression Recurrent and Panic Disorders. One of the many underlying factors is Chronic Lower Back Pain and left leg sciatica. 2 years ago Symmetry helped me deal with neck pain. My pain management specialist suggested I try Physical Therapy for my chronic lower back pain and left leg sciatica. Prior to attending Symmetry Physical Therapy I tried acupuncture for 20 sessions and noticed no relief. Chris Lauretani is my phenomenal physical therapist. Chris is also the President of Symmetry Physical Therapy. I've gone to 3 appointments so far. They start off with heating my lower back for 10 minutes. Next comes a variety of stretching exercises. That lasts 40 minutes. My lower back and hamstrings get sore. The final 10 to 15 minutes consists of strengthening exercises. To end the session my back is iced down. I go twice a week until 10 sessions are reached. I'm going to ask my doctor for an additional 10 sessions. My insurance company allows for 30 Physical Therapy sessions. It's a rigorous Physical Therapy session. Chris said we'll incorporate more strengthening exercises over the upcoming sessions. The entire staff is professional and very friendly. Casey is Chris' assistant and helps me out when Chris gets called away. Sean is a member of the staff and is great to talk with. Sean does all the prep work before Chris and Casey are ready for me. To surmise I give Symmetry Physical Therapy my highest recommendation as a client. read more

I have MS and a herniated disc. They had no idea what they were doing. If you're dealing with some sort of minor post-op issues, muscle tear etc, maybe they are ok. But they were not helpful to me, I actually felt worse after my session there. Also, their billing situation is terrible. The team at Symmetry has been stupendous. After rupturing my patellar tendon and having it surgically repaired I thought my knee would never bend again. Although early in my rehab, I am now walking without crutches or cane and bending the knee; finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel back to 100%. I have unfortunately had rehab years ago elsewhere for a broken ankle, and the service and care at Symmetry is far ahead of that other place.
