I was recovering from ACL surgery, and from day one I knew I was going to love it because the team seemed just as eager to get me better as I was to heal. I worked with Rylee and Jeff since May, and I truly never dreaded going to physical therapy because they made every session genuinely enjoyable. If it weren't for them, I wouldn't be anywhere close to where I am today. There were several moments during my recovery when I hit bumps in the road and felt like giving up, but their constant encouragement kept me going. I never thought I'd say physical therapy could be "fun," but they kept things interesting by changing up the workouts and tailoring everything to my pace without pushing me too hard. After several months, I can confidently say I'm finally starting to feel "normal" again, and I truly couldn't have done it without them. I had a great experience with PT at Synapse. I went in with some lingering shoulder pain. At the first visit, Paul was able to listen to my concerns and symptoms, ask pointed questions, and begin a treatment plan to improve my pain. Over the course of 5-6 weeks, I was given progressive exercises and saw relatively quick improvements in pain, mobility and strength. Paul would listen to any concerns or issues and adjust my program up/down as needed to ensure I was always moving forward. The office staff were friendly and helpful with appointments, questions, billing support, etc. I really appreciated how quick I was able to improve and get back to my routine thanks to Paul and the Synapse team. read more

Had a total knee replacement and Synapse came highly recommended by two friends. Needless to say that is not the experience I had. There is no interaction between the therapist and client what so ever. I was told to three sets of this and three sets of that, and each time I looked up the therapist was not even watching to see if I was doing the sets correctly. Her back was turned away from me and was more interested in talking with her co-workers. Another day was told to get the bicycle. The seat was to high like chest high. I was told to slide on it. No way with a total knee replacement. Then I was told to get it on the wrong side. Don't think this aide even knew what he was doing. Very sad. Needless to say after my third appointment I needed to find a different PT place which I did and am very happy with. read more

I cannot say enough good things about Synapse. I tore my ACL/meniscus and had to have two surgeries. Started recovery at Synapse on 1/11/23. I worked with Paul for 8 weeks to maintain strength for the second part of my reconstruction, then saw him for another 7 months once the reconstruction was complete. He was creative in keeping me challenged while also reminding me of my limitations and protocol. Every time I see my surgeon he is pleased with how ahead of schedule I am. My insurance only allowed 40 visits despite having two surgeries and they were wonderful in helping me work around this so I could continue the appropriate therapy. I looked forward to every visit I had and am confident I will be back to 100% function as time allows. I cannot thank Paul, Sam, Dave, and Jake enough for providing the fun environment they do. I have been to 4 physical therapy groups throughout my lifetime and Synapse is by far the best! read more

The therapists are top-notch! They expect their patients to work hard at their rehabilitation, and push them to achieve the best results possible! Ten days post-op (ACL/Meniscus surgery) they had me riding a stationary bike. 2.5 weeks post-op I was crutch and brace free. Five weeks post-op I had full 140* flexion and about 7 weeks post-op I was at full extension, walking with no limp and feeling awesome!!! They continue to encourage me to exceed all my health goals while being careful to not re-injure my knee! It's a super fun environment and the therapists are energetic, knowledgable and great at their profession!!! I would HIGHLY recommend Synapse! read more

Nicole literally saved my life. I had completely severed my ACL, and was so depressed because I could barely move around, and I had goals, including an upcoming race and a vacation in Hawaii that demanded mobility, and I refused to have surgery. In three months, she made my knee normal again, and when I developed plantar fasciitis, she helped me with that too. She is a very demanding therapist, but in a respectful way. After a difficult knee replacement in May 2021, and three other physical therapists, I finally was referred to Anhnhi Tran at Synapse. What a difference! Anhnhi did a very thorough exam and developed a pt program to help me strengthen areas that had been overlooked in my previous rehab. When I went to Synapse physical therapy my bend was only 83 degrees for my arm and my flexion was -25 for straightening my arm and then I met Annie My physical therapist and thank god I did. She save me from surgery and these ripoff medical doctors Annie did dry needling and now my arm bend is 126 Degrees and my straight arm is only minus 7 degrees. After a huge hip surgery that included a cadaver part and 5 anchors, 8 weeks of non bearing weight and physical therapy before surgery to get stronger and after, I can now walk again! This place is absolutely amazing! I broke my foot and had two surgeries on it and was looking at a 9 month recovery. My surgeon instructed me to go see Michael Keating at Synapse because he knew he was the best in Colorado (also in the whole U.S. in my opinion) and he was not wrong! Not only did Michael and Synapse help me get back on my feet (literally) to play more college softball, they helped me through the mental side of going through an injury just as much as the physical part. Having to do rehab can be grueling and the last thing you want to do when you're just not feeling good but I looked forward to every single one of my appointments at synapse because I knew that I was not only going to get better, but the fun, happy atmosphere they have at their clinics was always going to lift my spirits. They truly made my tiresome journey to recovery so much more enjoyable and bearable!
