Scammers, been charging me on top of percentage we agreed on another 3.5%! And also ordered equipment and stuff without aigning any contract, any agreement and I am still being charged monthly for what I don't use, no one ever pick up the phone. Lost lots of money and time with this poor company that I don't know why its still open because they just scam people! read more

Based on my personal experience, working with Synergy Payment Solutions caused serious financial and security concerns for my small business. I was contacted and pressured into a meeting, during which I believe my personal and business information was used without my clear and informed consent. I was subsequently enrolled in services that I did not knowingly agree to or fully authorize. As a result of what occurred, I felt it was necessary to freeze my bank account, take steps to protect my identity, and file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) to formally document my experience. Communication afterward was confusing and inconsistent. When I attempted to get clear answers or resolve the situation, I was passed between representatives and third-party companies without accountability or resolution. In my opinion, the conduct I experienced was deceptive and placed small business owners at significant risk. This situation was stressful, costly, and completely avoidable with honest and transparent business practices. I strongly encourage other small business owners to carefully review every document, ask detailed questions, and proceed with extreme caution before engaging with this company. read more

Update - I was able to get my contract cancelled by filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau on First Data (now Fiserv). First Data is the company the bought my equipment lease from Synergy Payment Solutions. The process took almost a year of going back and forth. If you are in this situation, stick with it and keep responding through the BBB platform. I ended up paying about $1,000 in equipment payments that I will not get back but the rest of my lease was for $4,000. Lesson learned I guess. read more

They got me as well! I do less than $1,000 in credit card payments a year. The guy CHASE STEWART with Synergy, who told me there are no monthly fees. Straight up lied to me. Has been telling me that I am getting a refund of the money they already took. The one credit card payment t I tried to put through never worked. I tested the reader with my own credit card. Never got the $0.10 I charged myself! But did catch another $15.00 payment from that $0.10 charge that I never got back! Please people be smarter than I was and research this company before you sign! I cannot get out of this contract. If I was to they probably would come after my house! I am so ANGERY at this scam! Duane read more

Like the list of complaints under this business, we too were scammed. I cannot believe the authorities have not shut Synergy Payment Solutions down yet. After a number of calls from their "office," Sean Parker dropped by and seemed in a rush. Pulled out his iPad and had me sign, indicating this was for their services. Little did I know, he signed us up for 2 leases for obsolete credit card processors until payments starting coming from our banks. The LAST communication I had with Sean Parker was that it was a mistake to send us the equipment. Now, the company and company's phones have gone dark. Try calling them. You can't! Their 3rd party partner in this scam, Time Payments, is also very shady. So, if you're thinking to yourself, "this is almost slanderous" you're mistaken. We saved call logs and a booklet of correspondence (or lack thereof). They're betting that you won't waste the time to pursue legal action...but some will. We see you, Synergy Payment Soluntions scam. We can all only hope the law catches up with them--until the inevitable happens, please avoid and do not let them in your door! (And surprise...their office is actually supposedly located at a different address...scammers can't stay in one place too long!). read more

I also feel scammed. Pressured into signing up. They sent me devices we never even talked about then I started getting charged for them. I am still getting charged multiple charges a month after over a month of asking them to fix this and to take these devices back that I never wanted or even knew I would be getting. Little no communication, empty promises. Don't fall for it. read more

They will have multiple reps call and harass you till the end of time. We spotted bs a mile away and have not worked with them but they have a different rep call 1X a week. Even the same rep (greg) has called 10+ times in 3 months. I called him out in shady practices and he yelled and hung up lol read more

I signed up with Synergy to save me money on my merchant fees. They set me up to pass the fees to my customers, and so far it is working really well. I am not paying my old fees anymore. this has dramatically helped my business in the hard times we have had. read more

Signed me up for service and never came to hook up the 3rd parties equipment. I am now under contract with that 3rd party and they're demanding a buyout of $3800 for a service I never received. I have called Synergy Solutions numerous times and only had one person answer and he refused to have a manager call me. This company should not be allowed to be in business!! read more

These people are very deceitful. Gave them a try bedside they said they could better my rates and no contract yet they locked me into a contract with some finance lending company that I had no idea he would do. Never told me that I would be leasing the equipment for 100 dollars a month for 5 years. Yes it's my fault for not reading the contract and finding out on my own but there was no mention of this. I clearly asked if there was a contract he said no, bet didn't explain that their is a contract for the equipment and that they would lock me in. On top f that we always had issues with this device . This company is a complete fraud. Was told we could do processing with them for 3 month free trial with no charge to see if we liked it then could sign up. Sean Parker the salesperson is a complete liar. Never agreed to any equipment or contracts. Within 2 weeks started getting money taken from our account which we hadn't even tried there services (nor will we) got a a charge for equipment that we supposably leased which we didn't even receive nor want. Have called Sean Parker numerous times and will not answer our call. There whole IT dept consists of one person and there whole customer service dept consists of one person. Called the leasing service company on the supposed equipment and they said it's all done thru Synergy. So don't know if they are in on this scam as well??? Horrible people! Watch out!!! When we realized this we called and they told us we set the account that way. Why wouldn't they explain this to us. Why would we "borrow" money that is out there for the child's benefit. The true reason I cancelled my services is because i was lied to by the sales rep who i sat with an hour with an had down to earth conversation. Felt like disloyalty being lied to in my face. Makes you lose faith in people. To be honest this company is not even real. The support line is handled by someone who answers the phone like hes your homeboy or something. Sales rep Kenneth in Houston, TX is a liar. Tells you something in person and when contract arrives in the mail the agreement is completely different. Your bank info is already in the system so by the time you are able to "cancel" youll be getting a charge. When trying to cancel they will send you a cancellation form and tell you its processing. Whole time they are waiting until your bill due date to charge your account. My advice to this company would be if you were upfront from the jump maybe youd have more consumers of your service. My Rep was able to find a payment processor that worked for my business and made sure to stay fully available during the whole process to ensure all my questions and concerns were properly addressed. Sean Mecham lives in Queen Creek and is big in the Mormon community but just steals from business owners, tricks you into a contract and runs off with your money. i would recommend staying very far from this con man. You could call the attorney general's office at 602 542 5025. That is probably the only way to get him to stop. When i met with them, my business was not doing well at all. I had recently invested in a new shop and was moving from mobile mechanics to a physical shop. I needed money and the bank wouldn't help me because of my time in business. The sales person told me that if they could get me approved they could do an advance loan against my processing. Based on how much i was doing he figured it to be able to get me $15-20k. I took a leap of faith and am glad i did. Once the processing was approved and i was set up and processing the rep came through and was able to get me the advance i needed. One of the things I liked about my experience with Synergy Payment Solutions thus far is their transparency. The rep showed me how i could save money passing on the fees with duel pricing. He also explained how the software and hardware subscription would be covered within how i was saving money. When pressed on that he explained where they make their money and how much they would be making on me and my company. I don't begrudge Synergy from making money as I have markup in my business. They charged me immediately but provided no assistance with the setup. Sean Parker, my representative, was dishonest. He assured me there was no binding contract and that cancellation would be simple if it didn't work out. This was a lie. I'm was trapped in a non-cancellable contract and facing significant debt. Synergy has been a great company to work with. Starting with my local rep who signed me up. He was very clear of everything I would be paying. We were previously paying far too much with square. chase set me up on a program where the customer pays the fees saving me over a thousand dollars a month. The mobile credit card machine and mobile app thats on a subscription is a drop in the bucket after all I am saving.
