Credit was not the problem. They piecemeal the paperwork. Today they need this document. Three weeks later, another document, another three weeks, another document. That lasted for six months. Folks at Wells Fargo Columbus Georgia have no clue what they are doing and no one is in charge. Highly recommend another bank.

Agents beware, I encouraged a friend/client to use their service after working with a for sale by…read moreowner and had dealt with this local lender before, who recommended her and B.J. one of the brokers there coached the client into possibly not using an agent advised the client 3% was to much for an agent commission which is the norm and also asked the client why she had an agent. (prior to finding this property we had looked at others that were not for sale by owner.) I did not request a certain commission from the builder/owner due to the fact it was a friend I'm even the one that suggested the house to her because I knew what she was looking for. I knew going into this commission was never a issue because I was going to help her anyway, but for the lender to down play a agents position is unacceptable as if she doesn't get commission for closing loans as well.
