He then stated my wife wasnt holding her gun correctly and was going to show her how to hold a gun. He moved towards her and I stepped in between them. I told him to go back to his area to watch the range. My wife was holding her gun correctly as she was knocking out the bullseye. She is very attractive and I feel this was a pervy way to get close to her. Very weird man. I also heard him on the speaker phone with a customer inquiring about the range. He talked very indignant to the customer. The range is nice but this employee on 10/30/24 around noon made the whole experience bad.

DCSR is a very good range to spend time with family learning firearm safety and marksmanship. What's exceptional about this place is it is ran by some really nice people. The business owner, the store staff and the RSO (range safety officers) will help you in any way. Just outstanding customer service. And no, this is not BS. Not to bash Atterbury Shooting Complex but they need to learn from Deer Creek staff in customer service. They have firearm sales and rental, consignments, firearm parts, reloading supplies, they also sell reloaded ammo. They have bullseye competitions which is beginner friendly. Their bays are 10yd, 25yd, 50yd and a 100yd. They can help zero your rifle if you don't know how. Overall, I highly recommend this place. It's approximately 45min from Indy. https://www.deercreekrange.org https://www.facebook.com/deercreekrange/

I've been a patron there for over 5 years. Unfortunately, the last time I purchased a handgun there, there was a gentleman working there who I can only describe as slightly portly with long hair. He seemed incapable of making small talk without being insulting or rude. It even seemed to me that the other two employees were aware of the man's poor social skills and did their best to ignore the guy's extremely poor customer service skills. For reference: while waiting for my background check to go through, I casually mentioned that I had seen something called a dual Taper Lock system which had been made by a small AR-15 manufacturer which seemed to be extremely innovative as it provides a 360° equal amount of pressure when locking the barrel to the upper of the AR-15 as opposed to standard Barrel nuts while also manufacturing their barrels with tapered cuts running circularly around their barrels as opposed to length wise cuts which apparently reduced barrel flex by allowing their barrels to compress and expand slightly as opposed to flexing/whipping which affects accuracy. Both of these unique design elements were new to the AR world and apparently guarantee 1 MOA or sub MOA accuracy for 5000 rounds which is a pretty incredible claim. When I asked him if he had heard about this company or their claims, he said no but immediately started talking shit about it and even began to try to loudly tell his coworkers about this AR that "this guy" thinks is cool. SMH. THEY BOTH STRAIT UP IGNORED HIM. It was like they had delt with his crap before. The worst part is that I was not the only customer in the store that this employee was being rude to. There were three or four other customers in the store that had simple questions about handguns that they were looking at. If any of them ask any questions that he deemed to be below his standard of knowledge he would either roll his eyes or chuckle before answering in order to make them feel stupid. Get that guy out of your store guys. Smh
