I had a similar experience to the review from 2015, however my motor was done same day. That and the guy on the phone was polite, so 2 stars for me too. I cannot claim to be a fair rater and give a 1 star for that.... But I took my boat last October to get it serviced. I opted for a new impeller and fresh fluids before storing it for the winter. For starters... The shop was messy and gross, papers all over the floor, so messy some of them stuck to the floor. Looked like old service records. I returned for my boat and started having issues right away. My problem is I don't like confrontation, so I paid and left. I was smart enough however to snap a few pics for the review. For starters, the motor was propped so high it was wedged onto the back wall of my boat bending the bracket for my scotty pole clamps and scratching the cowl of the motor. The cables and lines were kinked and bent from how high they had raised the motor. The cowl should have been off when they did the service and they should not have raised the motor that high... I lowered it back down and put my safety lock in before leaving. Then when I took the boat out last weekend for the 1st fishing trip of the season. I spent the entire day diagnosing problems, rather than fishing. The motor stalls out and sputters, and the motor was rattling so fiercely I had to shut it off and run on the kicker. I took off the cowl in the middle of the channel only to find no rubber seal between the cowl and the motor. I am guessing because it was wedged so tight against the wall of the boat, that it must have cut the old one. But I had not taken off the cowl since it was at T&H and it was on my boat when I left it with T&H. I made a mistake too. I should habe gone straight to the river to test the boat. Instead I winterized the boat and parked it inside the shop thinking the services were done and I could just swap the fuel water separator next season, add fresh clear gas, and go. It wasn't until last week that I realized the mistake in that. Because now it would be too late to request they fix it. So I am stuck with reviews... read more

T and h marine is a scam! I wouldn't take him my toaster to work on ! He rips people off stating he's buying motors that Never show up, i know of two other people he has done this to and after paying 25k cash the motor never shows. you can look up the claims against this company they are there . zero stars for this fraud read more

Picked up my boat today. Fair pricing and my motor was thoroughly gone through and issues were repaired. These folks are service oriented, friendly and competent. I was referred to them by a satisfied client and will refer others here as well. read more

Have no problem recommending T&H. They did every thing they said they would nicely and at a fair price. I towed by boat/trailer over an hour one way to have them do the work. While I was there, another boat from mid Oregon coast was being serviced. That should tell you some thing about the work T&H does if people go to that effort to have their boats serviced by T&H. A particular item these guys purchased and is selling. Apparently i have discovered this product has a consistent issue with failing. When presented (The problem) I was referred by Evan Boutwell "Warranty Officer" to spend more money on the same product to only roll the dice to see when it will go out again. I finally was able to speak to David "Quality Directer" and was told that this is how this company runs and will always run. A first class product to go with a first class company! read more

I gave two stars since the owner seems very nice, the rest of the story is a disaster. In the first week of August, I took my boat in for a water-leak at the water pump. The owner told me he would have it repaired at the end of the week. The end of the week rolled around and I called on Saturday, I was told now it would be ready on Monday or Tuesday. I called again on Tuesday and was told Friday or Saturday. Well my girl friend started mocking me and counting off the "it's not ready call next week" responses I was getting. After 25 "call Tuesday" or "call Saturday" responses the boat was ready at the end of October (three months.) I asked how much the bill was and went in with cash to pick up the boat a couple days later. When I arrived the price had gone up $150. I paid the bill and was very exited to get out on the boat. I had missed all the hot weather but it was a nice fall day so I went out on the Columbia. By the time I got out of the no wake zone my boat had over heated and I had to get towed back to the marina. It was hard to tell if the boat was hotter than I was but I went back to T and H marine. I was told he would have it ready in a day or two. That was a big joke. Other problems were found like a leaking bellows, a bad outdrive impeller and a might as well replace the shift cable while it's apart. A month later I got the boat back, too late for any good weather. These problems should have found the first three months he had it and not take another month to finish up. read more
