I have been here two times previously and had a very good experience. I was in need of a pedicure and thought I'd get a manicure this time as well. I don't know the name of the woman who worked on me, but I think she had never done EITHER before!!! Took out the giant toenail clippers and started hacking away without asking if I wanted that, my feet had only been in the water about 30 seconds. Forgot to put on a top coat and then took me over to the manicure desk. It only went downhill from there . She messed up my manicure at least 5 times by bumping my hand and then globbed on very thick goopy polish. Horrible doesn't even begin to describe it. Took forever as well. Sorry to say I don't recommend nor will I ever be back. read more

From out of town and came in as a walk in. Very welcoming! I sat down in the comfy massage chairs and had a lovely gentleman start my pedicure. He listened to my specific instructions regarding length and shape and followed perfectly. A very comfortable and thorough pedicure was done. Great job! read more

Came here for the first time and needed a quick pedi on a Sunday. Plus that it's open Sundays unlike all other nail salons. Nice place, friendly service. Got a shellac pedi for the first time since I needed to get out soon. Waited about 15-20 min for the pedi to start but didn't neons much given I called the day before to get an appt. read more

I went to this salon to get a "dip" manicure. I had never had one before. I have very short nails and was told this type of manicure with tips would allow my real nails to grow out while protecting them and keeping me from biting them. The young lady (not Helen) who did my manicure was very nice. I had no previous experience with this type of manicure but she seemed to know what she was doing and my nails looked good. I was told the manicure should last a month and that the nails could only be removed professionally using a soak and drill. After about eleven days, two of the nails "popped" off (both my index fingers). I called the salon and they got me in on my lunch hour to replace them. Helen replaced the two nails. I saw immediately that her technique was far superior to the other tech's. The new nails were closer to the cuticle, thinner and flatter. Since having those two new nails done, I have lost all but one of the other nails. The first set only lasted two weeks. The new ones seem very secure. I can only assume the first tech applied the nails improperly. I plan to try again with "dips", however at a different salon. My advice if you want to try this salon is to make sure Helen does your nails. read more

Had a manicure today and it was not good. Cut my nails very short and rushed thru. I can do a better job myself and very disappointed!

They are very nice there, but I got a terrible shellac manicure. She did not put polish on the edges. With normal use of my hands, it looks like a two week old manicure after 4 days! I usually go three weeks on a good shellac manicure. Disappointed that I spent money on this. read more

I have been going to T &N for over 5 years now. I have never had a bad experience. It rarely happens but if I chip off nail polish they fix it for no charge. I do shellac on my toes and dip on my nails. I see that someone wrote a 2 star review talking about having to many people to serve in the salon. I always make an appointment and even ask when their slow days and times are. I recommend doing this to avoid any wait. i got the worst pedicure I have ever had here this week. The man that did it put the polish on too thick and removed the toe separators after about 3 minutes under the drying lights Resulting in smears in 4 toes. They "repaired" them and sent me on my way. The repairs created lumpy/bumpy surfaces and the fresh coat of polish dented and smeared again. Honestly a child could have done a better job. After spending $50 (including tip) I will be removing the polish today. I definitely won't ever go here again. read more

The staff were very polite and friendly. But they simply take in more people than they possible can work on. One woman sat with fingernails in acetone for an hour getting her shellac off and decided to leave because she it was too overwhelming all the people in there expecting their nails done. I have dips which they tried to soak off. I explained it was taking too long and no other salon ever makes me sit nearly an hour with acetone on my nails. Finally they sanded them off. I stupidly let them do dips and they rushed through and did the worst job. Another woman came into get her shellac and tips soaked off and stormed out after a bit with her nails only partially soaked off, saying "it shouldn't have to take this long". It was stressful and I ended up there forever and my nails looked worse than when I came in. But they were very nice. read more

My shellac began to peel after 1 week. I stopped by the salon at 2pm for a repair on only two nails and they told me that I needed to come back at 6pm. I told them that I lived very far and they said they had no time. How hard was it to squeeze me in for two small nail repairs????? Never again. And my shellac has a bumpy finish. My daughter and I received pedicures and the nail polish was awful...clumpy and thick. Despite, sitting under the dry lights we both left with ruined nails. The technician knew we were having issues and our nails would not dry even after sitting there forever. When we got home we removed our nail polish. It was a waste of time and money. read more

I have been going to this nail salon for over a year. Helen and the other nail techs are truly professionals. I was saddened to hear that they had recently experienced a fire. There has been some construction to the stores in that plaza. One night, there was a construction error and Helen had to call 911. With these troubled times it was very unfortunate that they had to close for fire repair. They have just reopened on November 10th and are ready to meet all of your salon needs. I had the VIP pedicure today and boy was it a relaxing experience. I also had a manicure and chose to use the DIP color system for an elegant French manicure. I've always had exceptional service at T & N nails. I've been visiting for many years. Helen is very accommodating and Amy's pedicures are phenomenal. I went here for the first time ever and showed them an inspiration picture that I had that was fairly simple, I knew I could do them myself if I wanted but wanted to splurge. I asked for dip and asked ahead of time what the price would be for what I wanted but never received an answer despite asking several times. She did the correct nail shape for the first nail and then proceeded to mess up the shape for the rest, none of them were the same shape. Next she started putting nail stickers on, she never once did her own decals. None of the stickers were what I wanted but she only asked whether I liked them until after she placed them. At the end she charged me 65 dollars for the nails, I had expected the cost be more than 35 which was the price listed on their website, but not this astronomical price for what I got. Be careful when going here so you don't get scammed or leave unhappy. read more

I'm very unhappy to say I have an infection in both of my big toes after a pedicure at T & N Nail Salon. Aggressive trimming of my inner cuticles and what I can only guess is unclean tools or unclean pedicure chair/bath resulted in very painful toes, doctor's visit and antibiotics. I'll spare you the photo! Over the past year I have had several pedicures at T & N - very disappointed but this is my first (and last) infection. read more

The Service was fantastic. They were quite busy when we walked in, but they gave us the soonest possible appointment. Our nail technician was so sweet and did an amazing job on our acrylics. She (Helen) completely understood and was super patient when I didn't like the nail color I asked for and changed it almost immediately! I am definitely planning on coming again! read more

My nails were the kind of ugly that required professional attention- on a Sunday. I tried to find an opening with no success; so when my GPS showed T & N Nails nearby (28th and Thornhills, by D&W), I was on it. From the outside, it looks like any other nail place; but when I was immediately greeted (at other salons, I've waited a minute or two to even be acknowledged), it just felt different. Not only was it a Sunday, it was just before spring break. No time for me.. :( Kevin overheard and said he'd stay after close at 5. By the time he finished his appointments and called me to come in, it was 8:00 PM. If you've ever had your nails done- especially near closing- you know this is unheard of). After painting daisies on high school girls' toes for 8 hours, he just kept going. Stamina, baby. So first, pick your color. For shellac (side note: go shellac), you choose a color by swatches not bottles. The swatches are all in a few huge rings with the location always unknown- you get to search! Here, polish was clearly organized by brand and there was not a shade missing. Kevin got to work and impressed me right away with his fast, precise technique. After 30 minutes max, he was done- and it was flawless. I didn't have a single complaint. Prices are comparable to other salons for all services, but here, you always feel it was worth every penny. To top it off, Kevin is an incredibly nice guy and truly just wants to make you happy! He gave me his card and said they (he and his adorable wife run the place) never turn a customer away despite hours. Next time, he says call, he can do any time. At this point, I'm certain I'm a celebrity. Ultimately, T & N looks like every other nail salon on the outside, but their customer service is unparalleled. Kevin is an all-around pro and truly cares about your nails- NOT your money. The total experience was in a class of its own. I will never go anywhere else after this VIP treatment! read more

I went here because they were the only place in a 15 mile radius that had availability on a Saturday morning. I guess that should have been my first clue to the nasty experience I had there. First of all, before anything else, I watched my nail person go from a pedicure to my manicure without washing her hands. I watched multiple other employees do the same. I came here because I had 2 broken Acrylic nail tips and one more cracked on my walk from the car to the salon. I asked her to fix all 3 and just put a different color on. No fill. Instead of removing the broken ones she just filed the tip down a bit and put new tips on. They were uneven and slanted and I am positive they are going to pop of at a moments notice because there are 2 different layers of the Acrylic powder on there. The third was only cracked and rather than removing it and redoing it properly she merely filed down the cracked parts a little and put a new layer of the powder stuff on it. Not even 4 hours later that nail pops off while I am grabbing a drink out of the cup holder. Luckily I am right near the salon and I go to get it fixed and she had the nerve to charge me $5 to fix a nail she had supposedly fixed earlier that morning. After charging me $45 for "fixing" 3 nails and a color change. Everyone in there was trying to upsell anything they could. I watched a woman point to the basic pedicure and the woman doing it told her no she should do the deluxe and just kept pushing and pushing. The woman who did mine was rude, unprofessional, and obviously didn't care that I was unhappy. Just that I paid her and left. Learn from my mistakes, I will never be going back and wouldn't advise you to either. read more

My daughter and I arrived to get manicures and pedicures. We were asked to wait 30 minutes then were seated in pedicure chairs with our feet in water. Some other clients finished and left. And others came in. In about 40 minutes my daughter had her old polish taken off and slowly had her toes done. I sat and waited. 4 other women came in and were seated at open spots. Someone took my polish off, then left to work on someone else. No explanation was given. After my daughter was completely done with a full shellac pedicure and manicure did someone come back to start my pedicure. When it was all done, my nails ended up taking 2 hours and 40 min! If we were not getting on a flight later that afternoon we would have left sooner and gone elsewhere. I could not believe how poorly organized and mismanaged they were! A few days into it, My daughter's nails began to chip. Her big toe nails were not evenly shaped. Both of us were disgusted and have vowed to never go back! read more
