Yes, you read that right. Pull up here and someone will come out and help pump gas into your car. There is no minimum and no obligation, just simply a credit card and a smile. At first I thought it was a shady ploy at a cash grab and go, but I got over it quickly and felt like I was no longer in NYC. Gas prices are already incredibly pricey throughout the tri-state and so this isn't exactly a deal friendly spot. However, it is pretty nice not having to exit the car when the weather isn't so ideal. It's rarely so busy that I can't get a pump or someone to help but I've been quite fortunate to enjoy quality service every time. And of course, if you feel like it, drop a dollar to the attendant. It might not fly out west, but it's always appreciated in NY.

He is honest about what diagnosis and what should be repaired and at times something that's just not worth fixing as it will cost more than what the cars worth. How many mechanics and business owners will do that. He's also a great resource and know the right people to refer you to things he doesn't specialize in such as wheel alignments, or welding. There is even a sticker on the tints that indicates that. And this is a SUV, the rear windows / back side windows can be any tint. They don't seem to value their customers.. because I wanted to explain to him, but he goes to the back next to the mechanic and stays there. While I'm waiting for him at the front... William is asking me why I don't have the wheel lock for my car?, where did I purchase the car from? alot of unnecessary questions. I asked for a used tire doesn't even look and says we don't have your size, So I asked to put on the spare. He gave me a hard time had a nasty attitude and tried to over charge me. I left, NEVER GO TO THIS GAS STATION!!!.

And the regular attendant is polite and courteous. I can't think of another reason to support a local business. The fact that it's a "no name brand" of gas doesn't bother me. All gas brands must meet govt regulations and standards. There is likely little difference between name brand and no name. However, if I had an expensive sports car that I intend to keep forever, then perhaps I would pay for an expensive name brand. But, anybody keeping a regular car for 10 years or less isn't going to notice the difference.

Fellow residents of Whitestone please heed my warning, stay away from this place…read more You will be scared into buying parts you don't need and charged 3-30x what the parts actually cost. (they wanted to charge $60 for a gasket, Rofl. Found the same one on ebay for $2). Same thing for an iac valve that i didn't even need (I'll go into detail shortly). The valve is $80 they said it was a $400 part because "no one had it"... first link on Google was 80 bucks free shipping. They will try to take you for everything they can. I brought my car for 1 oil change and suddenly I began having idle issues and throwing a check engine light after getting my car back from them. I go back and ask what they think the problem is. This is where they tell me I need a new iac valve that will cost 700 dollars including labor. With my bullshit detector ringing loud in the back of my head I ask how much the part is, that's where they tell me 400 bucks. After checking the actual price of the part ($80) I put 2 and 2 together and got the hell out of there. After WEEKS of trouble shooting my vehicle doing everything from checking & cleaning valves, throttle bodies, checking for faults in the wiring and nearly resetting my ecu, I discover a tiny little valve that seems to be missing a little rubber cap. Those ******* bastards removed the cap to create a small and inconspicuous vacuum leak that would force the cars computer to throw that code. They were going to pocket the entire 700 without even buying or replacing the part by putting the rubber cap back on. I bought a pack of the caps I needed for 25 cents, put it on, and the car has been running mint for months now. I'm so sick that this scum is allowed to have a 'business' in my town.
