I told my husband to call Burds due to their reviews and reputation...and WITHIN 45 MINUTES Ryan was on our property meeting with my husband (holy sh*t!). He eyed up the situation and gave us a price & approx. time (within a week or so). It was in our budget and time frame, and we agreed to the estimate. Unfortunately the weather didn't agree with the timeline (the winds were CRAZY STRONG) and we had to wait another week - but I rather safety come first - and that is a priority with Burds too. (Since I am in the service industry I know that customers can wig-out about this, we did not, and Burds were MORE THAN accommodating and attentive to our text). 3/27/25 was the day, they said 7:30 a.m. - and they were early (to my delight!) I wasn't able to stay and watch since I had an appointment then work. They were completed roughly at 10:20 a.m. - and everything was cleaned up nicely. When I got home that evening I was so happy that I didn't have to worry about branches falling in my driveway, or this huge tree falling on my house. Ryan and his assistant were professional, pleasant to deal with, and nicely priced for the work that they did. I would definitely refer Burds Tree Service over and over again. This was a really, really good experience…read more I noticed that a tree was uprooted and had a real concern that it would fall on a busy street. I reached out to a few companies. Sven was the first to respond. He offered to come out immediately after normal work hours for a free quote. He thoroughly inspected the tree and assured me that it wasn't in imminent danger of falling over. That night he sent over a quote that was substantially lower than I had feared it would. He scheduled the job for the weekend, showed up on time, and just worked solidly until the job was done. Pretty much a flawless transaction. We'll use him again for sure.

Lightening fast estimates, on-time arrival, great crew that are efficient, courteous, skilled and professional, and such a reasonable price for the quality of the work done, and the scope of the work. They removed a fence panel to access a large tree stump that had sprouted 10 foot branches near and under my fence. After surrounding the area with heavy net barriers to prevent collateral damage, they brought in a stump grinder, ground up the stump after using a chainsaw to remove the sprouted branches, smooth-raked the area, replaced the fence panel secured it with screws, and made it look like nothing ever happened. See photos. I am DELIGHTED. This company is THE BEST. I now have usable space for a mini-meadow I always wanted, to make the pollinators happy while they pollinate my fruit and vegetables this summer.
