    Picture on 1 800 flowers

This is what I ordered from 1 800 Flowers and unfortunately they use this florist. This is what my daughter got. Pitiful! Was thrown on porch (ring camera verified) petals strewn on porch and balloon half deflated. Called 1 800 flowers: At first they offered 50% refund, I insisted until I got full refund!

Perfect modern arrangements picked up a couple hours after request. Both looked like the website photo and reasonably priced.

    What was ordered

I made an order flowers for my young nieces funeral through "from you flowers" who contracted with this florist. I ordered a sunflower arrangement as they were my nieces favorite flowers and we got not one sunflower, some flowers were already dying and I ordered the "premium" version and well it was lacking. 1st picture is what I ordered last 2 is what was delivered.

This place was used by the floral delivery company I used. It was our 32nd anniversary. The arrangement was horrible! I gave orange roses to my wife after our first date so I chose the premium version of the first pic called "Rustic Elegance". Well, it was rustic....no Elegance...no orange roses! My wife is the sweetest woman in the world. She deserved so much more. It looked like a child put it together. BTW....This is the first 1 star review I've ever given. Special occasions, tragedies in people's lives are mountains and valleys in our lives. Perhaps thinking of this while putting the effort in to arrangements and deliveries would make a difference. We are only here for so long...let's think of that more and I'll chalk it up to you were having a bad day.

To add to the plethora of "what someone ordered vs. what they got" reviews...here's mine. I received the lovely gesture of flowers from my best friend across the miles for a loved ones birthday who is no longer with us. Their favorite color was purple and it is why she specifically chose what she did. When I sent her pics thanking her, she was not pleased with what she saw and neither was I after I saw that she essentially wasted her money on something they didn't fulfill. She said there was specifically a purple vase she wanted, which I didn't receive. Tons of purple roses shown in the listing which I also didn't receive that were subbed with 4 white roses. They used one big honkin' lily in the middle that took up the majority of the vase with pinkish purple daisies that looked like they got a bouquet from Kroger and haphazardly jammed them in there and NONE of the filler flowers pictured was used. Her beautiful gesture was not wasted on me and I'm appreciative but as someone who constantly seems to be let down by local florists, I can add this place to the list. I am so sad for her that I didn't receive what she thought I'd be getting but it's sadly par for the course in these parts. There's having a caveat that *some* elements may be subbed but this doesn't even resemble it. If you can't do it, don't list it! Not to mention they NEVER knocked on the door when they delivered it and I WAS HOME and we have video of him dropping and running. Instead it baked in the sun for 2 1/2 hours and the massive lily was wilted.

Where I work we get floral deliveries often. Each time this florist delivers the flowers are either shocked or old. This time I was the recipient and I was not happy that my 90 year old mother paid for what I received. The foliage stems were black where the leaves had been pulled long ago and the ends had not been freshly cut. Less than 48 hours after delivery, the roses were browning and wilted and most of the bouquet was ready for the trash. Teleflora should remove them from the list.

I ordered flowers for my friend and the flowers she got were wilted. Also they looked nothing like the picture. I called and complained to proflowers and they said that a replacement will be sent tomorrow. Unfortunately I can't get from another florist-so I'm keeping my fingers crossed! Proceed with caution from this company

    One side of the Flowers

My son sent me flowers from here for my birthday. We weren't home and they put them on the front porch with no tissue paper wrapped around them or covering at all. They were delivered at 11:30 and we got home 5 hours later, because we were in a different town for an appointment. Some had died in the cold and look worse than what I could buy at Kroger! I don't really want to tell my son, but will so that he doesn't order from them again.

    purple flowers completely dropped over.

Flowers were sent to my MIL for her 90th birthday and half of the flowers were dead on delivery. I called twice to tell them how bad they were and they have declined to call me back. I hope they gave her nephews their money back. I would never use this florist.

I ordered the most beautiful flowers! They smell and look the best I have ever seen! I will order from them again. Worth every penny! It was a Valentine arrangement. I think it was called "You are mine". Or something like that.

I visited for the first time in many years and found that most vendors have changed over the years. One familiar vendor is the Market Blooms at the North Market. I had a delightful experience picking up some flowers yesterday for some family friends in the area. I actually came specifically to visit this vendor and found them easily in the middle of the North Market. There was no wait but it was also mid-afternoon on a weekday. I glanced through the creative card selection (out of curiosity) and then checked out the flower options. They had some floral arrangements ready for pick up at a variety of prices. I selected the mid-range price and was delighted at the options I had. I used a combination of a gift card and credit card, which was easy to do. The flowers were well received by me and later by my family friends who I gave them to as a thank you for hosting me for a meal. While I was there, I met two of the vendors including a man who had been working there for more than thirty years. That made sense as I last stopped by for flowers at this same vendor approximately twenty years ago, and he looked familiar. Market Blooms opened for business in 1990 with the simple mission of becoming a neighborhood flower shop serving the local community. While I was at a conference this week, someone asked me if I knew the nearest place to take an Uber or Lyft to get flowers, and I mentioned I thought that there was a flower store in the North Market, only across the street from the convention center. I then realized I had a need for flowers and took my own advice. The location is in the middle of the North Market near the front doors. The hours at the North Market are Monday from 9 AM to 5 PM, Tuesday through Friday from 9 AM to 7 PM, Saturday from 8 AM to 5 PM, and Sunday from 12 to 5 PM. I would assume that later during the lunch hour during the weekends (and weekdays) it is probably quite busy. Market Blooms still has the same missions; they are still that neighborhood shop with buckets of freshly picked flowers, ready to greet people at the door. Learn more about Market Blooms at https://www.marketbloomscolumbus.com. If I'm ever in Downtown Columbus needing flowers, I will certainly plan on shopping again at Market Blooms.

It led me straight to **Blossom Flower Bar**, a new florist business that's clearly got the *soft launch meets cool girl era* vibe down. Think: **Trader Joe's DIY floral section** but with actual stylish florist folks on hand to help if you want a real-deal bouquet or guidance on your stems. The vibe? Youthful, jazzy, and blooming with potential. **What I grabbed:** An **exotic mix of flowers** -- the last of the bunch, since they'd opened early for the fair and I swung by post-lunch. A few stems, some not-yet-budded beauties, and a *slightly* picked-over selection still ran me **\$56 with tax**. Yes, that stung a bit, but listen -- **tariffs have upped your Mother's Day flowers by 30%**, so don't say I didn't warn you! Still, the bouquet is **thriving in my vase** days later, and I learned a little flower care too (no direct sunlight, y'all -- so off the kitchen counter and onto my coffee table they went). I don't quite understand the fascination of this city with food and drink, since the other reviews claim they can add it. Why? So you all can overstay your welcome in this shot gun style business? Come on now. Let's keep the drinks and food menu for private events and just learn to pack a sandwich people. LOL **Final thought:** With the plant girl aesthetic booming post-COVID, it's no surprise **florists are hip again**. But let's not forget to show the same support to these **mom-and-pop petal pushers** who bring beauty to the block one bouquet at a time.

I love that the menu gives you a recipe to make your bouquet and the prices per stem are also listed so you don't get sticker shock at the end. My Book Club went for a girls day to make bouquets, and we had a blast! They will let you bring your own alcohol and snacks in too. Definitely room for them to grow and offer their own food and beverage selections in the future though to add to the experience.
