When they opened it, they insisted on completely disassembling it to clean the dust out of it. They called me the same day telling me the laptop trackpad and keyboard will not respond and I need a new motherboard. They said that they will continue to diagnose. I did not hear from them for two weeks. I called them back up and they said it can take 3 to 4 weeks do a computer repair. After another week, I sent an email to their customer relations/support. I received no response. I called after six weeks. They said that the last update on this repair was 3 weeks ago --- that is when I called them 3 weeks before. After six weeks total, I had enough. I went in and picked up the ruined laptop. They kept it for SIX WEEKS, broke my internal keyboard and trackpad, and told me the motherboard needed to be replaced. Upon picking it up and testing it myself, the motherboard works fine--their technicians just failed to plug the internal keyboard/trackpad data cables back in or damaged the cables so they couldn't be plugged backed in. If I use an external keyboard and mouse, the laptop will work. They charged me $65.47 upfront, stripped my laptop of its portability, and wanted to replace an expensive part that had nothing to do with the problem they caused by their bad workmanship. Scottie was the one who worked on it. Avoid ubreakifix. The company should be renamed, customerbringsinforserviceibreak.

Six weeks later, picked them up, get home to find the 2 row 16 digit LCD screen was not fixed and not one single I/O port were cleaned, scratch brushed, deoxidized or lubricated. A second processor dropped off the same day with a failing PSU that had a loud hum and needed repairs as well. It came back still humming, opened up the case to the processor and a very small amount of cob webs where around the PSU indicating nobody even opened it up to service it, but yet they claimed it took 2.5 hours to fix. The third processor, lol, claimed he didn't have service documentation to fix faulty ram, so nothing was done to it. I took three processors in for repairs and six weeks later, all three came back no better than before. To top if off, they scratched up the face plate on one processor trying to take it apart. Do not fall for the Google Reviews, half are not vetted genuine reviews. Avoid this home based company at all costs. 10/02/2025 EDIT: Ya see folks? He didn't address the incompetent service. Just out to convince you he's the good guy after taking 6 weeks and giving him $500 in cash to give me back still broken processors and services that were never rendered. The truth is, none of this took place "on-line", it was in text and he blocked me after I said I would have to seek council for advice after being ripped off. He's played this exact thing out with other customers when they said they would have to take it small claims. He blocked them as well and did the same stunt with them. In fact there is a review on this very site from a Will M. over a year ago that shows his propensity for bad service and this is exactly what happened to me. Beware!!!

I took my iPad into MiiPhone to have a cracked screen repaired, here we are a few months later after three trips and I still have a defective screen. The first repair seemed to go well, but within two weeks the screen was pulling up in the corner with glue showing. I returned and had them repair it again only to pick it up and find a discoloration on the screen itself. . . I then waited at the store while the third replacement screen was affixed to my iPad. All seemed well for a short period of time, but the same problem arose when the corner of the screen began lifting again. The third time I went back into store it was to request a refund (as set by the warranty). Instead of being welcomed as a customer with a defective product and receiving apologies for the issue and inconvenience, I was greeted with indifference. I did not receive any consolation for having a defective product multiple times from assembly error. Michael continued to take the iPad toward the back of the store at which time I stopped him and he admitted that he was going to remove the screen. I was shocked...was he going to send me home without any glass on my iPad at all? This made the rest of the refund transaction sour, unprofessional, and mostly just a hassle. I would not recommend this business to anyone. When it comes to service sometimes it is better to pay more or drive a little bit farther. Update: I appreciate a business that responds to complaints. Thank you for the follow through.
