To my surprise, I was the subject of a profanity laced diatribe from a female owner of the store who excoriated me for making the wrong purchase which required her to a do what she called " a time consuming credit card refund". I began shopping at R&D Cross when the southern part of Upper Marlboro had one fast food restaurant and you saw store employees at church or the grocery store. That period has passed.
