This is a great TJ Maxx. We come here often, especially when we are shopping for Christmas special. It's a great place to buy gifts for family and freedom. I always love stopping into this TJ Maxx once I'm in town. I make a bee-line to the shoe area and then browse the clearance dress section. It's always very well organized. I love the TJ Maxx store in Fort Smith and enjoy searching for fantastic bargains every week. I recently found 3 bar stools I needed and before I could even asked for help, Scott and Daisy were carrying them to the front of the store for me. After I went through the register they helped me get them carefully loaded into my vehicle. Every employee I've encountered there has been helpful and kind. This store was refusing to honor the 30-day refund even though I had my receipt and was within 30 days. I had to stand there for over 15 minutes while escalating up their chain of command. I had well over $100 worth of items I was planning to buy!!! But because of their outright rudeness and combativeness -- over an item that was $4.99 [go figure] -- I only spent $40.00. Way to LOSE the company MONEY -- and because of how discriminated against that I felt, I will NEVER shop at that store again!!!! So over $60 and the hundreds I would have spent -- over $4.99. read more

I bought a CHI curling iron from the TJMaxx store in Ft.Smith, AR last Thursday, I used it once, and tried to return it. They said that they could not take it back because it had been used. I know that QVC takes anything back if you are not happy with the product. I have returned hot rollers, and other hair products with no problem. The lady was rude and told me it was my problem. I've always loved the selection at TJ Maxx. There seems to always be something for every one in my family. I especially like the designer handbags...it's like hitting the lottery for me, when I can find a Michael Kors handbag on the cheap. Good selection in home decor as well. Prices are much better than online and/or other department stores. What I don't like is trying to find an associate to help. It seems the only one's working, are those at the registers up front or the one person manning the fitting rooms. read more

I went in to TJ today and the young lady at the counter was SO rude to me. She was very short and snappy, and she huffed her breath the whole time. Very, very poor customer service by this one. Her name tag said "Jessica". When I got home and told my family my daughter said she actually went to school with Jessica, and on Jessica's twitter she stated (direct quote) : "There was so many dummies that came my way in the checkout line and it was all I could do to not snap at them." I sure hope she wasn't talking about me. What kind of business has employees like that? I've always been a fan of TJ, but I don't know that I'll go back if they keep people like Jessica working. read more

Very nice store. Associates are willing to help and answer your questions. What I like best is that you can always find an associate. The managers are always visible and when I check out I'm always asked about a Rewards card. I love this store. read more
