Beware of promises made by salespeople in this store. They outright LIE about promotions and trade ins. I traded an iPhone se for a iPhone 12 mini and a iPhone 10 for a 12. Sales promised it would cost $200 total for the mini and $0 for the 12 and all credits would be posted by 2 billing cycles. The actual bill for the 2 phones is $1300 vs $200. Customer service will not honor store promises. Your word against theirs. Salespeople in this store LIE. Get everything in writing ahead of time or better still, find a store with honest sales. read more

Maria in the Branford store was awful. Misled us to believing we were getting free accessories (2 cases,2 glass screen protectors and 2 wireless chargers), did not mention the accessories would be added to our monthly bill, despite us asking and being assured they were completely free. Offered (more of told us we were getting this free device) us a free "sync up" device without telling us this would be considered a new line on the device. Completely messed up putting the screen protector on one of the phones, still put it on after wiping the sticky side with a microfiber wipe and getting lint all over it. Skipped an entire step in restoring our iPhones so we almost lost everything we had, did not care when I came back the next day and told her this, did not even apologize or ask what step she missed. Rude and inconsiderate. The other two people working there today in Branford 6-17-18 were extremely helpful and helped us return the "free devices" and replaced the ruined screen protector and helped us cancel the added line. And apologized profusely for Maria's sales tactics and attitude letting us know that she is supposed to explain we were agreeing to adding a line and that the accessories were going to be added to our bill. The only reason I'm leaving 2 stars is for today's associates,unfortunately I did not get their names , Maria gets 0 stars. read more

I purchased a Belkin cable sometime during this year. I was told the rope one would hold up well, but it didn't In June I called the store because I lost my receipt and was told they could issue me one. I went in the store and the woman was fumbling through pages and stopping to talk to her coworker. Long process. She couldnt find it. I called the 1800 number and was told they could issue a certificate for me to submit. Long story short. I called Branford Monday and asked for them to look again. Called the next day and they can't find it. Asked them how than can help me, because I have a warranty on this wire. They said they will have a manager call me. Never heard from them. Friday, today I called and asked for a manager or to have a district manager call me. All of a sudden he tells me his manager is there. The manager Scott was so rude and hung up on me. He said I had an attitude. I told him I've been dealing with this since June. He would not give me the district managers name or have him call me. Do not deal with these 3rd party stores. I had a problem with the other Branford store who tried to give me a different phone than the one I purchased. I find these two Branford stores lie to get your business and are of no help when you need it. I will only deal with corporate stores from now on. My problem was resolved through Frank in the Corporate Store in North Haven. Thank you Frank! read more

I was up the creek with no ability to work on the website of my business. The business I've had for 25 years. The hotspot on the phone was not reaching me in this difficult location. So I'm near Branford and talked to Teresa (sp) about T- Mobile's Alcatel Linkzone 2. I felt I just had to try it because there were no options for me other than switching providers and I get such a good deal from them that's that last thing I wanted to do. I went to the store, met Herb and brought the device home. I was NOT expecting it to work but it did - and beautifully! I want to thank Teresa and Herb for spending the time with me. Great store and love their help. Lifted my mood a ton. read more

Today I had THE MOST HORRIFIC experience with the T-mobile store in Branford. I came in with a family mobile phone, which the "mobile expert" Theresa told me I could exchange for an Iphone 11, with a Magenta service plan, for the out the door price of $400. I was very pleased with this amount so I agreed to have my old number "ported" from family mobile over to T-mobile. She could not located correct account number for family mobile. So with the process of activating the new phone and retrieving the account number, we were in about an hour, which I expected. She was obviously new and kept asking other coworkers how to do everything. Finally after releasing the number from the old carrier to T-mobile, I was then instructed to pay almost $700 out of the door. At this point a more seasoned representative came over and said that she had incorrectly promised a plan to me with a down payment that wasnt possible or correct. I was not going to pay that much especially because I was led to believe that I was going to pay about $300 less. By the time they informed me of this, they had deactivated my old phone and my number was now connected with T-mobile. At this point it is over two hours and I was completely resolved that I would not be doing busniess with T-mobile today or ever. They said that they spoke with Family Mobile and that my number would be ported back within 24 hours. They sent me on my way with a non-working/deactivated phone, which after I called Family mobile, they informed me that my phone had not properly requested to port my number back to Family mobile, and now I had to pay $54 to pay for the month of service I just paid two days prior, and because of the new port request, that prepay amount was forfeited. I work two store-fronts down from that location in the same strip mall. I will tell everyone I come in contact with about my experience. I am thoroughly disgusted with the incident. Not only did my untrained representative mis-inform me about the cost, but the surrounding representatives sent me on my way with a non-working phone and a duplicate charge to be paid. The trip to T-mobile cost me 2.5 hours at their store, 1.5 hours on the phone with Family Mobile and $54 for absolutely NOTHING. read more

Oh how do I begin. The sales rep do not know what they are doing. There is one girl who seems to just be oblivious to everything and another one who just talks too much. There seems to be no one managing them as I notice a high turn over. In any rate, I went in and started service with t-mobile back in FEB. It was great until I saw my first bill!! I was charged for an extra line called digits and also had insurance added when I didn't want it. The messed up part was when I realized that these people added my screen protector and case to the bill when they clearly said that it is included with the phone. Guys make sure you read all the paperwork or log in your t-mobile account online to catch the b.s. they add! read more

I Purposely signed up for T-Mobile because they had a plan that offered international calling My daughter was going to Africa for an extended time and I needed to be able to contact her. She returned in December and in January without notice, I received a text from T-Mobile saying they shut off her phone. I called for an explanation and they said she roamed too much when she was in Africa which was against their policy so they shut off her phone and I would not be able to get another line for 6 months. Bottom line is, they had to pay another provider each time she roamed because they didn't have towers there, so they shut her off. I immediately changed our service, but they refused to let her keep her number. Please double and triple check your plan when you sign with T Mobile. And don't believe everything the sales people tell you. read more
