I needed to have my data transferred to the new phone so I went to Victra (a Verizon store) at 4753 Route 80 East in Savannah, Georgia, spoke with David and Brandy (the store manager) to see if they would transfer the data to a new phone even if I wasn't going to purchase it there. They said no, but they said they were having a special on the Google Pixel 7 phone and it would only cost $350. (As I would come to find out, they were NOT having a special on the phone). Thinking that there was only a $15 difference, I decided to buy it at the store. I was not on any committed plan (it's month-to-month) and explicitly stated that did not want to be on any plan as a result of this transaction. I specifically said "ANY plan". They verified that I would NOT be on a plan. The return period was 30 days. The next bill that came did not have any new transactions on it, but that was because the cycle had closed before I bought the phone. It wasn't until a couple of weeks later that I received the next bill that showed a $10 finance charge. I called the store repeatedly but was always redirected to a call center. Not once did anyone at the store answer. I drove back out to the store and asked David about the line item. He told me that the first month will show a $10 charge and the second month will show another $10 charge, but there will be a $20 credit on it as well. David said that every month thereafter, the bill will show a $10 charge with a $10 credit. Since it was a wash, I thought it was fine and started driving home. As I was driving home, I realized that there was some amount that was being financed, which would lock me into something of which I was not informed. I drove back to the store and asked David about it, and he said that $370 was being financed. He said the phone cost $720 but with a $370 discount, the price came out to $350. What he neglected to tell me was that the $370 discount was locking me in where I won't be able to change my phone without being responsible for the balance. After speaking with David and Brandy, they said that there was nothing that they would do. Now I m locked into a 3-year financing plan where I cannot change anything about my phone without incurring a large penalty. This was clearly a very sneaky way of selling me a phone and I can't believe that the store manager would allow such a shady transaction- she was there during the entire initial transaction. They disregarded what I asked for as far as plans go so that they could benfit from a financed amount. The BBB closed the complaint because Victra didn't respond.

I had no knowledge of any off-market battery available for iPhones so would never have had a thought to ask, and was not informed of that upon requesting service and absolutely no indication of that. Unknown to me, and w/o any info provided, I assumed a 'new' Apple battery was placed in my phone. I paid and left. I received a message on phone from Apple the second I plugged it in for charging..."non Apple battery". I called Apple support to inquire, and they informed me of their policy and would not repair or even "touch an iPhone with an aftermarket battery", and they suggested I return it because it can and does causes problems. As I used it that evening, it was obvious something was not right in the performance of phone. I noticed the warranty limit on receipt, so after calling the next day, had an appointment set up two days later when a 'skilled person' would be there to swap it out. I was told it had to be ordered. Another trip back in...all "convenience" already void...supposed new Apple battery was installed. I inquired why I was not informed or given a choice about Apple battery at first visit. The very nice employee told me that "THERE USED TO BE A SIGN ON THE COUNTER...I DON'T KNOW WHAT HAPPENED TO IT." Immediately that evening i knew something wasn't right...battery ran very, very low w/minimal use! I tried charging it several nights, I always start charge before retiring and is completely charged in the a.m.. It charged, but again started losing charge right away and lost all charge by evening. I am not a frequent phone user all day at all. I have found no e-mail address to get my message in over the weekend, and there is no also voicemail available to leave a message. I will try when store opens at 10:00 and so hopefully won't have to make TWO MORE trips! I ended up paying $160.00 for an Apple battery that is faulty and does not work. Have never had this happen. Pretty bad and extremely inconvenient and time-consuming. Just the facts. I will update review.

Very helpful to two people in their 70's with marginal iphone experience. She helped us process a lost phone insurance claim and gave us the phone numbers to finish the claim at home. She offered us chairs from the back but we were almost finished. I think this store is the 4th T-Mobile we have visited and definitely the best.
