It's Tuesday... We all know what that means...not really unless you have the app which earns you some deals and free stuff for being a T-Mobile customer and though I had my hesitation probably due to some offers that don't apply in Hawai'i sadly you'd be missing out. This summer it's Pickleball...the surprises never end here and loved the offer for a Pickleball set super cute pick paddles with the T-Mobile logo and here I am at the Salt Lake Shopping Center location and was so blown how busy it gets here though the staff are very professional and organize to be sure everyone is checked for their service and asked who's picking up the items. I love the staff here and really do appreciate the acknowledgment upon entering as I always get a greet to at least know that I will get some answers of my issue...keep it T-Mobile. Free stuff from T-Mobile... Every Tuesday is T-Mobile Tuesday when customers #getthanked. Sometimes we go to the nearest store to redeem the free gift from the T-Mobile Tuesday app (which is easily downloaded to our phone) or we just go directly to participating partners such as Taco Bell and Dunkin Donuts to get a free Taco or coffee... In the past, we have received umbrellas, pairs of socks, backpacks, etc. It's just a nice way to thank customers for their loyalty and to help promote the T-Mobile community! This Tuesday, I went to the Salt Lake Shopping Center to get my free gift. (I knew that it was a cap because T-Mobile sends a reminder to pick up the gift! How convenient!) I had seen this shop yesterday when I had lunch at the Salt Lake Shopping Center! The free parking and cheerful customer service are much appreciated! Every time I stop by here, the associates are always friendly and helpful. Recently came here to get my Mom a new phone and the staff was super helpful. Very patient and able to do everything we wanted them to do with the switching of information from the old phone to the new phone. Conveniently located near Longs Drugs in Salt Lake with lots of free parking. Depending on when you come, it can be a wait, however, the associates always let you know how long the wait time will be. This Tmobile store is pretty awesome. This store gets busy but the employees are very good with managing the influxe of people. The staff is very professional and always quick to answer my questions and assist me with any phone issues. The store itself is well lighted and it is nice how the have all the various phones are on display with little information signs attached to each of the phone. The best of course is Tmobile Tuesday when Tmobile gives away different Tmobile give aways or even free subscriptions to stuff like Netflix, MLB baseball and Pandora, free magazines and movie rentals. Tmobile meets all my needs and exceeds my expectations when it comes to service and mobile phone needs. I will continue coming here and using Tmobile as my cell phone provider. read more

Went to visit this location after I saw that it has decent reviews & high ratings compared to the other locations. We were greeted immediately upon entering & waited no more than 5 minutes to be assisted. The associate who helped us is Don. I thought that I had experienced excellent customer service before but Don just blew me away. From start to finish, he made the process if upgrading so easy and painless. He definitely went above & beyond his duties. I had no unanswered questions by the end of our session. He is very friendly, very knowledgeable, helpful, efficient & so easy to talk to. He made us feel so comfortable & this is undoubtedly the best experience I've ever had of all the locations I've visited. Don is such an asset to the company & I truly hope that his outstanding service is recognized ! Thank you Don for restoring my faith in humanity & for making it such a pleasant experience. I'm switching from AT&T to T-Mobile senior plan for a savings of $63 a month. I initially had a great experience chatting with a Tmo customer service rep online and with the first in store rep who couldn't transfer my phones because of other issues with AT&T the worst of which is their business customer service center is closed on nights and weekends. Excuse me but many businesses are open nights and on the weekends and my phone usage is 24/7 so shouldn't customer service be available? Anyway, I only gave three stars to Tmo for the following reasons: 1) After Tmo ran a credit check on me on 9/23/22, the next day I get a credit alert that someone is trying to open a credit card in my name because suddenly my SSN and birthdate is apparently on the dark web? This has happened four times now since that day and all my credit info is locked and no accounts were actually opened but what a pain in the arse. Now, I don't know if it's a coincidence or what but it sure seems suspicious this all happened after I input info at the Tmo store. 2) Well, that night 9/23 I was given two SIM cards to put into my phones whenever I was able to get my AT&T phones unlocked. That was another nightmare that took a whole week to do but again, that's an AT&T issue. I eventually got my phones unlocked and the next Tmo store rep I dealt with the evening of 9/28 insisted I had the wrong transfer code. Again, I couldn't call AT&T because they were closed. I had to wait until another day to call AT&T who said I did indeed have the correct transfer code. Another day later I returned to the same store rep who did input my transfer code I already had and low and behold it worked, but... 3) the SIM card I was given at my visit on 9/23 supposedly did not match the one that showed on my account that was established that night I got the cards. The rep was able to scan the SIM card bar code and get it activated so yay for that but why didn't it work? Did the rep on 9/23 input the wrong card code or did the rep on 9/28 set up a whole different account to get credit for setting up a new account? So many questions with no answers. So far my phone service has been comparable to my AT&T service with a decent signal and as I wrote in the beginning, I'll be spending $63 less a month so yay for that in the long run but what a hassle with both Tmo and AT&T not to mention issues I had with credit bureaus and having to make a report to the FTC. I can't help but wonder what is next? Oh, wait! I forgot to mention that the Tmo rep I spoke to on 9/23 tried to get me to buy a new phone that could only be on a monthly payment contract and with insurance my bill would be $124 a month, a $9 a month savings over AT&T! No thanks. My phone works fine but that's why I went through all the hassle to get my phones unlocked. Just saying... read more

Stopped in at Tmobile Ala Lilikoi again. I was so stressed. My phone stopped working and I didn't realize how much I depended on my cell phone until I didn't have a working one. Dropped by this morning and April asked me a few questions, within minutes, my phone was working again, problem free!!! I'm so thankful for her amazing customer service and positive energy. BEWARE! If you don't want unprofessional, unpleasant experience with the most unhelpful person in this Tmobile location, do not get help from this person named JASMINE!!!!!.. No willingness to help with your phone issues. All she wants is to make a sale. First, I told this person that I needed help with my phone but also going to buy a new one. Her question was, Did you back up the phone and I said No. She just said you need to back it up. I don't know how and where to do that on my phone that's why I came here. She didn't even look at my phone. But she just proceeded, looking at her iPad, asking me about the new phone that i'm going to buy. She didn't even explain what's the difference between the iPhone 14 and the pro max etc. You cannot get any information from this person.. Basically, what she asked me was what IPhone, so I told her. What color? She didn't even say the colors so I have to ask. And last she asked me If I have the card to pay, just so to finish the transactions. The Manager of this location should train JAZMINE how to deal with customers and try to help as much as they can, especially old people who are having issues. They are lazy and have you call customer service while at the store instead of them answering simple questions or doing procedures they're suppose to do. The attitudes of the employees are condescending & unprofessional. Drive to a further location if possible. Unorganized and waste of time to get anything resolved. Years ago I got a galaxy S10 had problems with it but my dumb girlfriend is to lazy to change providers. Anyway I stopped buying the expensive phones cause the insurance has a ridiculous deductable. I get it I got a cheap 150 dollar revvl6 but I do expect it to send text and make calls. We returned it 3 times to TMobile and till this day half my text won't go through. Boost or cricket is 4 phones for 100 dollars a month. I don't know why we pay almost 300 a month for four lines at TMobile. TMobile reps just say they don't know why the text doesn't send. I finally found out that I needed to make a claim from T-Mobile, not the insurance company. It took less time when I finally got connected to the right Customer Service person. She informed me that a lot of store associates didn't know that if you don't crack the face or spill water on it, it's covered by T-Mobile. read more

Although I switched from At&T to T-Mobile over the phone, I visited this location with my husband a week before. Just so you don't get too confused, my husband and I have separate accounts because we have family members' lines under us. This location can get pretty crazy. The average wait time is about 20-30min. While we were waiting, a customer went nuts and said very inappropriate things (about private parts & asking to see) until he was escorted out. The situation was handled well. I somewhat feared leaving my unlimited data plan on At&T knowing I could never ever get it back. That's why I was with him asking 101 questions before making a decision. I was able to see, firsthand, the carrier freedom process when my husband transferred over. I was also there for moral support. Lol. I decided to just do it. Up & left. So, why did I not do the transfer in-store? I called T-Mobile's toll free number to ask more questions and the agent I spoke to convinced me to do it over the phone! Either way, the process is pretty simple. If you do it over the phone, you just have to order your new phones or SIM cards, wait for them to arrive and the rest is history.. and a piece of cake. Oh, and no activation fees to pay. You pay those in-store. I had to stop by the store after my new phones came in because I was missing a SIM card in my shipment and needed to purchase one. Their register system wasn't working. I couldn't pay with my card and I only had $2 in my wallet. The rep handed it to me comp and while I insisted on coming back to pay for it, she told me not to, because it was inconvenient. We argued for a few minutes over that. The customer service here is great. I feel that they'll answer all of your questions to the best of their abilities and also keep you informed about current promos. Just be prepared to wait a while to be serviced. read more

It's a whole new level of customer service that all stores should model! Dean, their amazing store manager, worked with us for almost 3 hours helping my mom find a new phone and accessories, then going above and beyond to make sure all her apps and buttons were correct, including taking the time to help sync her beloved Fitbit watch! He then took her old phone and cleared it out so that we could give it to my dad (his phone was clearly long gone and outdated)! No matter how silly my mom's questions may have appeared to be, he handled them so kindly and patiently... So super stoked, elated, and appreciative!!! Thank you T-Mobile angels during this holiday season for the oh so fantastic customer service and generous bonus surprises! Christaline was so patient and accommodating in assisting us through the process during our extended period of reviewing the selections for my parents' first smart phone. (My mother was in denial that she really wanted to transition to the smart phone culture..."I don't need anything fancy, I've always had a flip phone.") Christaline humored us and so kindly refrained from rolling her eyes to our bantering and multiple random and repetitive questions about the transfer (I totally would have done it to myself). She even brought out chairs for us while she completed the transactions because my Mother gets fatigued quickly with her health condition. However, that was not the end of what developed into the happy "kid in the candy store" mother I departed with. Upon leaving my parents' house after 10pm, I called customer service as instructed by Christaline to waive the upgrade fee, and in process was informed about two other promotions we were eligible for....thank you T-Mobile customer care rep, Mike!!!! He was also every so patient with me reciting the promotions because I could not believe we qualified for free phones and a bonus rebate!!! Back to the T-mobile store the next day to work out the logistics of how this was going to happen because I was still skeptical of the promotion offer! PINCH ME!! While I understand what I wanted wasn't possible from the store, this review is based solely on their lack of professionalism and nothing more. Pick a different store for your T-Mobile needs. Not only did they refuse to provide little more information than "no", the information they provided was factually incorrect which made me waste more time trying to get the proper information. I've been with T-Mobile for over fifteen years. This store managed to kill that loyalty in half an hour. My phone died. I bought a replacement. I need to shift the old account to the new phone. They could not find a way to move from my old phone to the new one without charging me additional activation fees and insisting that they upsell a new and expanded plan. I've been with the company long enough and am familiar enough with their customer service department to know when they need to charge for a service and when they are gouging the customer. This didn't happen the last couple of times I moved to a new phone, and in discussions with customer service and with other stores at other locations, it didn't need to happen this time either. The staff here could not find solutions, only more problems that could only be solved by more money. The best part was when they suggested that I call customer service using my dead phone. Not the company I stayed with for fifteen years, even when there were cheaper solutions that provided better coverage. read more

This store is new to the shopping center, but we are glad to have it so close to home. This isn't a corporate run store, so go easy on the staff, if they can't make everything happen. They don't have magic wands :) Sarah, Eric, and Marissa did a fabulous job handling an irrational customer that believed that just because his transaction would have been completed quickly that he should have been allowed to jump the list of people that had been waiting just as long as him. Which would have pissed me off, so kind of a rock and a hard place. So if you are looking for a payment kiosk go else where as they do that have one of them and no they don't have an associate dedicated to payments. Generally this store isn't packed but it was that day, but the rest of us waited and didn't verbally attack the staff. They are super helpful. Cause three days later I returned the iPhone I thought I wanted and switched it to a Note 5 and again the staff was wonderful :) That day Dane helped me sort out my return and getting set up on the Note 5. One of the reason why I switched back to T-MOBILE was because you have way better service than AT&T. I had a problem with my phone not being able to call my voicemail. As soon as I walked in the store, I was greeted by a salesman named WING L. He was very patient with me and he got my phone to work in like 5 minutes. I was struggling for days before I walked in to T-MOBILE and I'm glad I did. No more beeping sound all day. I love T-Mobile because of service I get from T-MOBILE rep like Wing. Great job Wing.
